I'm not as much upset about the Han hair as I am with his torso. Its a great torso, don't get me wrong, and we've had from the start, but I was hoping for something fresh, like the Han's from 2010. It would have been great if he had a new front and back print on the torso (I'm pretty sure the back on han's vest has some sort of... thing on it ). I also think that that hair is just so Han. I tried the new generic male hair on one of my Han's and it just wasn't right. Also, Han should have had a new pistol, not a Stormtrooper blaster.

I don't know why everyone is so upset about the new Luke hair. It looks great. I think it is way better than the girl hair from the Landspeeder set and better than the Collectable Minifig series 2 surfer hair, because it makes him look like Justin Bieber with a lightsaber. As for Vader being in the MF, why not put Vader in the MF. I know it may not be completely accurate, but it gives the set a bad guy so kids will have someone for the heroes to fight. Also, Vader is just plain badass!

I know that this is really old, but I never saw this. This is pretty sick. I love the ARC troopers and the Gunship is spot on. I think my favorite part is the signature in Aurebesh at the bottom of every pic.

"What a piece of junk". "It may not look like much, but it can get .5 past lightspeed".

DarthR2-D2, nice! That is the sort of deal you don't pass on! The new MF looks great because the only version I have is the 2000 one, so this is a pretty big improvement. Also, you gotta love that new Luke hair!

I guess so. I'd never seen that custom piece but it looks pretty great. Also, we need those Delta Squad commandos.

Well, we are getting Wolffe in the summer. I know that from the toy fair pics, it looks like we will get two plain Wolfpack clones, but I think the reason they looked the same was just because TLG didn't have the print ready for the toy fair, similar to the new Luke hair. I'm also afraid that Jet's helmet would look a bit to silly on the sides with those communications things on it. It would make his head look too big. It would be cool, but I don't think there is an effective way TLG could pull it off without screwing it up.

I think above all the clones we could get, Echo and Fives in their ARC armour would be best. It would give TLG a reason to make Phase 2 CW helmets. (I realize that the ARC helmets are experimental with the fin on the helmet resembling the one on the phase one clone troopers, but still...) Unfortunately, Echo was killed off on the last episode of the CW, so the chances of seeing him are getting very slim. Jet would be cool. I also think any clone in that clone snow armour (the armour seen on Orto Plutonia). That would be great. Honestly, there are so many cool clones that we could end up rambling on for pages about it.

This seems like a very plausible idea. When I first saw that Ventress's fanblade starfighter was going to be in the CW, I thought it had to made into a set. I think that the blade itself could be made by using a big fabric piece, like on Jabba's Sail Barge, only flexible enough to collapse down into landing mode. The cockpit windscreen could just be a trans-red windscreen like on the Solar Sailor. As for the figs, your ideas sound good, but Talzin... I doubt she would make it into minifig form. She just doesn't have as much playability as a fig with a weapon. When ever I come up with ideas for sets and what figures are to come with it, I always look at what a younger kid would want. Talzin would make a great fig, but I doubt an 8 year old would jump at getting her, they would want a character with a lightsaber first. Anyway, the figs in the Ambassadorial Shuttle sound perfect, and possibly the clone could be a special clone instead of just another generic white one. Maybe Bly, perhaps...

Originally, Kolar was Koth. But, the actor who played Koth in Ep. 1 was not available for Ep. 2 so they got a different actor to play Koth for the scenes in the Arena. Only problem was - the two actors looked nothing alike. Therefore George Lucas named this new guy Agen Kolar.

Originally in the script for AOTC, Eeth Koth was written as being killed on one of the Gunships during the Battle of Geonosis. Dave Filoni thought that Eeth was cool and wanted to put him into the CW, so he talked to George Lucas, and Lucas said he was still alive. Kinda cool that Koth is still alive, but kinda stupid why he is.

Yarael Poof is not a she. HE is a Quirmian Jedi master from Ep. 1. Yes, he was killed before the Clone Wars, but they brought Eeth Koth back, who knows what could happen.

I think we will never see the Malevolence, unless it is a midi-scale or UCS set, which I think would be a waste of a UCS set. The Gungan Sub is in need of a serious re-do. Possibly it could come with the Opee Sea Killer?

That is Tamina's face, and he obviously just switched the Han heads. The legs aren't dark blue on Han. And Leia's hair is the same old piece there.

I think the one-word name for Ep. 1 is Phantom, or at least that is what I call it.

That comic was just plain awesome! I wish I had your collection of Ep.2 sets, especially the clones! I missed out on both the original AT-TE and Gunship. Luckily I found the AT-TE for only $135 bucks on Ebay, so I ordered, and combined with my other two Ep.2 clones (also ebay purchases) I will have six! I really need to get my collection up here, but it will take awhile. I have over 500 Star Wars minifigs to set up, so....

Black.

Yes, but that would (if ever released) probably be ridiculously priced because it would have to include so many new moulds and figs for all the Jedi they haven't made. Plus, it probably wouldn't have every Jedi we want because it would have to include the main characters like Obi-Wan, Anakin and Yoda.

Nice work Oky! Absolutely great! Fisto looks pretty mellow there.
-
Hmmm... interesting. I know that the set itself would look absolutely horrible, but it would be a perfect chance for them to release Adi Gallia and Even Peill, as I said above. Look at the T-6. It isn't the best looking ship. But look at the great figs we got (Tiin, Ti). I think that Even Piell woulb be great as a minifig. I think the one Jedi we need the most as a fig would be Yaraell Poof.
-
Sets less than $100 don't really need this. Most sets beneath that price have small enough instructions not to get horribly crumpled.
-
I agree. Seeing as we have gotten three new Jedi in the January wave (Tiin, Shaak Ti, Unduli) and we are getting three more in the summer wave (Vos, Koth, Mundi), I would not be surprised to see the T-6 Jedi Shuttle equavilant set for next January to be that ugly shuttle with the three identical wings and the shperical cockpit. It is another Jedi shuttle, but it is 1) a Clone Wars ship TLG has not made yet, and 2) a perfect chance to release 4 new figs (yet all completely unrelated to the ship): Adi Gallia, Even Piell, Fives and Echo (in experimental Phase 2 ARC trooper armour)
-
I STRONGLY agree with you. The AOTC Clone Troopers are arguably the best clones LEGO has ever released... ever. I also think that, since we are getting a revamping of the entire Phantom Menace cast (and by revamping, I mean better prints and pupils), we need the AOTC cast revamped soon after(like, the following year). Like, who doesn't think the new Malfoy hairpiece from Harry Potter wouldn't be PERFECT for a regular (non-Clone Wars) Dooku!
-
Wow, more rumours! The stun tank sounds interesting, and with the amount of figs being that low (and that awesome!) this should probably be a pretty cheap set. As for Yoda's Hut... YAY! This will be great! Probably a new Yoda (at least a printed head) and the swamp monster! My guess is, seeing that this set includes a creature that isn't really big, that this set will be roughly the same size as the Hoth Wampa Cave.
-
This would be a good idea, but I was just thinking today about the AOTC sets from 2002-2003, and how few I got. I was thinking how it is funny that some of the most crucial characters from the movie (Yoda and Dooku) were in the smallest set, when the generic figs (Clones, Jedi Bob, droids) were in the most expensive. I think it is unfortunate things have changed now. It would be nice if some of the new PT figs coming out this summer (Qui-Gon, Maul) were in small sets with little scenery things and the figs.
