  1. I think the visor of the Mandalorian should be more slender...more like on the Right picture:
  2. Pictures from Anakin (75269) and the T-16 Pilot (75265) can be found on eBay, in case anyone is interested.

    Future Star Wars Minifigs

We can't have both at no costs (measured in alternative sets TLG could have released). The question remains if people would like to see them as minifigs or rather not.

    Future Star Wars Minifigs

They have screen time as they are pictured. So the question remains whether you would like to see them in Lego or if you'd prefer to see other clones.

    Future Star Wars Minifigs

So, what do you think of the 501st's changed appearance? Would you like to see them in Lego (at the expanse of other sets) or rather not?
  6. I'm not so happy with the 41st Elite Corps Trooper since the printing of the visor is too small. I think it should look more like this:

Hi, can anyone say if there's any chance that sets from TCW: Season 7 will feature clone printings that are consistent with clone printings from ep 2/ep 3 sets? Or is it more likely that clones from this last season and from the feature films will look differently?

I hope for new clones as well. The question is whether or not they will get dual-molded helmets. To me, especially the current phase 2 helmets are pretty good. They may benefit from a new mold, or it may not. At least, I'm not happy with the new stormtrooper helmet, and I had 75262 to give a pass.
  9. Maybe, and I hope your're right. But since TCW Season 6 aired in 2014, the fact sets like 75168 and 75199 supported normal eyes may also be due to licensing or other issues.
  10. Not necessarily, as 75192 shows.
  11. Btw., did anyone recognize that the new Kashyyyk battle droid was inspired by TCW S1E1 :)?
  12. Maybe. But I'm not sure if TLG is free to choose the colours. As you can see, the new colour scheme roughly resembles the current colour scheme of the the Hoth rebel trooper from the Hasbro Vintage Collection. That may be a coincidence. On the other hand, it may be not :)
  13. I had high hopes 75262 (Imperial Dropship). But I got 75228 (Dewback mircofighters) yesterday, and I simply don't like the new Stormtrooper helmet. It is too huge. Slave 1 looks great, but it's not a set I'd want. So I'll wait for the next wave :)

    Thanks for the explanation :)
  15. I asked that myself. If they wanted to, they could have started with Commander Gree in set 75234. I'm not sure if a dual molded phase II helmet would actually be better and not just bigger than the current mold, so I hope that this change won't come. But at the end of the day, I don't know what caused this change, so I guess we just have to wait and see. edit: But if I had to bet, I'd say we'll see dual molded clone helmets.

Hi, in the context of legs or helmets, I often read the term "dual mold". What does that mean?
  17. I'm not so fond of the new scout- and snowtrooper. I like the new mold of the scout's helmet, but I don't like the excessive printing, namely the part over the mouth piece and the three vertikal lines. I do not like the legs, either, since I cannot see what the new printing represents. In that regard (legs), I like the 2013 version much better. The last point goes for the snowtrooper as well; it simply doesn't benefit from the printed legs. To me, the snowtrooper legs (and e. g. phase 1 clones legs) looks best without any printing at all.
  18. Hi, have a question regarding set 75228: Does anyone know if the helm of the Sandtrooper is a new mold that will be replace all stormtrooper helmets? I don't like it, it looks...odd. It looks like a stormtrooper from the "Rebels" series.

    Star Wars

In my understanding, it's not so much about force usage. Rather, the force appeared to be something with a will of its own that acts through those who apply it, rather than the other way around. If I remember correctly, there are a few references in which Yoda or Obi Wan say that this or that is "the will of the force". So the title "The Force Awakens" means something different than "The Order Awakens". (Plus, the force is a doubled-edged sword that has a dark side as well, and the title doesn't make clear which of both sides awakens, or if both sides awaken.)

    Star Wars

I always liked the title "The Phantom Menace" because of its double meaning. First, it can be understood as referring to the fact that the driving force behind the events is unknown. Second, it can be understood as referring to the fact that it is (so to say) not a real, but a fabricated threat. "A New Hope"can be understood as referring to the aspect that the rebellion might succeed, so that after the destruction of the Death Star and the rebellion's military success there is a new hope for the people who hate the empire and know of the respective events. And it can be equally understood as referring to the emergence of a new Jedi apprentice, something that is obvious to the audience, but not for the characters in the film who have to deal with the threat. This distinction, information available to the audience and information available to characters in the film, can be applied to both cases, and I'd expect that the new title has such a double meaning as well.

    Star Wars Rebels

I wouldn't rate any of the episodes as high. This band of rebels is thrown into situations it shouldn't be able to deal with, whether it is boarding and escaping from an imperial Star Destroyer or whether it is escaping from a secret prison that functions as a beacon to catch Jedi that may have survived. I didn't like the Inquisitor's "futuristic" lightsaber. Rather, Rebels should have stuck to the old-fashioned OT lightsaber style, which means one normal lightsaber per force wielder. All in all, Rebels is fun and entertaining, and it leaves plenty of room for improvement.

    Star Wars Rebels

I liked Spark. What I didn't like, though, is the Ezra-gets-captured-and-rescued-part. I think that escaping from an imperial Star Destroyer was much too easy. Another thing I don't like is that the Stormtroopers seem to be even less able to hit a target than the battle droids in TCW.

LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors

I like the sets. What I find interesting is that comparatively many sets aren't from the movies or the series (shadow trooper bp, geonosis trooper bp, Azure Angel).

I like the design of the gunship. To me, it looks neat and perfectly like a verhicle from an animated series, and it looks like a smaller, bulkier, and heavier armed version of the republic gunship.
