  1. I'm fine with the three helmets. They may not be accurate, but I don't believe that helmets on Lego minifigures will ever be "accurate", and to me, the helmets look pretty good in their own right.
  2. The stromtrooper still has that oversized dual-molded helmet, So just like 75262 etc., this set is a clear pass for me.
  3. I'm fine with printed karmas, though I'd prefer if the sides of the legs were printed as well. I'm under the impression that Lego's current rationale is whether or not a minifig is meant to be placed in or on a vehicle. That would exlain why Echo and the snowtroopers in the recent AT-AT have printed karmas and Airborne Trooper in Grievous' Starfighter doesn't. I'd prefer a consistent solution, though.
  4. avengers777 spoke of 12 am pt, which is in ~10 hours.
  5. I do not really see the point in commenting this rumor. Either he is right, and the Bad Batch doesn't come with helmets. If this is true, a number of people won't buy this set, and there will be a low demand for the minifigs on the 2nd market. Or he isn't right, and the whole issue is just, well, a kind of a phantom menace. But I'm confident that in either case, we will learn soon enough.
  6. I think that because of Disney+, the destinction "current" and "not current" can no longer be made. It's all available and current. And to some extend, even older stuff like TCW is new: As Dave Filoni pointed out in an interview, there are Star Wars fans who learn about Ahsoka the first time in The Mandalorian, and if they become curious, they can move on to TCW to learn more about her story. For children, the animated series will most likely the first things they will see of Star Wars. With Disney+, all stories playing in the SW universe are available at the same time, in the present. New series and films are enhancing or expanding this universe. In the past, it made sense to focus on what you call "the current stuff". In times of Disney+, that may have changed. But that's an empirical question.
  7. Due to promobricks, the UCS Gunship will come with Mace Windu and a clone captain (red markings).
  8. No, we don't. But given that it roughly matches the prices of 75257 (Falcon) and 75288 (AT-AT), I think that estimating a piececount of ~1,250 - 1,350 is not too far fetched.

Wishlist: Future Star Wars Sets and Minifigures

The attachments are usually placed between the head and the body, making the minifig bigger. In find that in many cases, it makes the figure look worse. Thus I'd like to have a way to place them here:

Wishlist: Future Star Wars Sets and Minifigures

I'm under the impression that TLG has not yet fully comprehended the changes that came with Disney+: All animated series are permanently available, and I think the younger the audience is, the more likely it is that there first contact with Star Wars will be TCW.# In my opinion, for TLG, it no longer makes sense to distinguish between the "PT" and "TW series". Rather, they should be treated the same as sets from the "prequel time". I further think that for TLG, it doesn't make sense to marginalize PT. However, that's what's currently happening: We see a lot of stormtroopers, Tusken, Javas, and so on. But we hardly see clones, Geonosians, Twi'Lek etc. I hope that the balance of the force will be restored ^^ Minifigs I want: Droid Commander with yellow (not orange!) printings. Peppi Bow Numa Boil, Waxer 99 King Katuunko Cham Syndulla Blurg Plus, I' d like that attachements to storm- and clone troopers are not attached to the neck, but rather to the under side of the head. The helmets of stormtroopers need to be downsized ^^ The printed visors of ARF- and the Kashyyyk Trooper (the scout guy) need to be changed. Sets: The Crucible (Prof. Huyang, Ahsoka Tano, Ganodi, Byph, Zatt, Gungi, Hondo Ohnaka) Venator Class Star Destroyer (Cmd. Rex, Jesse, Ahsoka Tano with grey robe, 332nd Company Clone Trooper, Phase II Trooper (plain), R7-A7, CH-33P, RG-G1) Clone Turbo Tank (Plo Koon /w grey robe, Cmd. Wolffe, 2x 104th Battalion Troopers, all based on TCW S6E10) or AT-RT and wreck of Master Sipho-Dyas’ shuttle (Plo Koon /w grey robe, Cmd. Wolffe, 104th Battalion Troopers, all based on TCW S6E10). Both sets could be combined, and/or further minifigs from a different scene could be added. Medizine Room (Shaak Ti, Nala Se, Tup, Fives) "The capture of Krell" (jungle or prison): Gen. Krell, Echo, Kix, Dogma, Waxer Trident-class assault ship: 2x Aqua droid, Cmdr. Blitz, Cmdr. Havoc, 99
  11. Whether or not that'll be the case has already be determined, so the odds are either 0 or 1.

    Everything Star Wars [SPOILERS]

"The Bad Batch" launches on May 4th 2021.
  13. The point is that it's not about spoiler tags. The point is that the debate of shows and of LEGO sets are different things that are meant to be discussed in different threads. See? Not about Lego. Wrong forum. Very simple.
  14. In Germany, it's currently available at a discount for EUR 67,99.
  15. Due to promobricks, this is "most likely", but not certain. The set's name is "Imperial Troop Transport". The flying transports used in Chapter 14, in the scene including the mortar trooper, are called "Imperial Transports", So I guess it could be one of those as well. Time will tell ^^
  16. Due to promobricks, 75313 is a UCS AT-AT.

    [SPOILER] The Mandalorian Discussion

Yeah - maybe Gideon's explanation stems precisely from this experience. In that case, she should be happy that it was stolen, though ^^ The question remains why he didn't claim Mandalore for himself.

    [SPOILER] The Mandalorian Discussion

Well, first of all, I think that Grogu's destiny will be further explored in the animated "droids" film since it was hinted that it'll be about R2-D2, C-3PO and a "mysterious new hero". As for "The Mandalorian", we know that there will be three series that will have an overarching and integrating theme. We can speculate and assume that Gideon and Pershing's research is somehow related to the creation of Snoke, the Emperor, or both. We don't know, however, how this relates to Mandalore and the fates of Bo Katan, Ahsoka, Grand Admiral Thrawn, and possibly Ezra Bridger. And I think they are aiming at creating a new side story that go beyond Episode 9 and prepare the stage for films after that time.

    [SPOILER] The Mandalorian Discussion

I have some mixed feelings about the season finale. I think that they found Moff Gideon and his cruiser too easily, and that they captured Gideon too easily, and that they rushed through the cruiser and the troopers too easily. At the end, I expected Ahsoka to come, so it was a surprise to me. But still, the finale lacked too much plausibility. In chapter 13, Ahsoka should have sensed the presence of Grogu, and she should have sensed that the Mandalorian didn't pose a threat to her. But I think the makers of the series wanted them to fight so people could learn that even a light sabre cannot cut through Beskar. But for the mentioned reasons, that scene lacked plausibility as well. Other than that, I liked the season and the cameos, e. g. in chapters 15 (Richard Brake) and 16 (Luke Baines and Thomas E. Sullivan).

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here

The helmet looks a lot like the tank drivers from Rogue One. The armor looks more like Admiral Veers' in "Empire strikes back".

What we know about Disney's current approach to Star Wars is that they are taking it slower. And we know that different series are meant to culminate in a huge event, just like the Marvel movies did. Several films and series from different time periods are currently in the making. We know about the animated "Bad Batch" series, which is set immediately after the end of the clone wars. The Bad Batch is still fighting for the empire. SInce we know that at some point the empire gets rid of its clone armies, it may be safely assumed that this is at least one of the themes of the series. So we'll probably see sets related to this series, which will probably be more clone-centered. We know about the Cassian "Andor" series, which is of course set before "Rogue One". We know about the "Obi Wan" series, which is set before "A New Hope". We know about the "Ahsoka" and "Cara Dune" series, which both are set in the same timeline as "The Mandalorian". We know about the "Rogue Squadron" movie, which is set in an unknown timeline, but features "X-Wings" of some kind and is released in December 2023. We know about the animated "Star Wars: A Droid Story" movie, which is currently developed for Disney+. And we don't know what films or other projects Taika Waititi and Rian Johnson are currently working at. Given the timelines of these series and films we know about and given that there is still more to come, I think it's save to say that we'll keep seeing remakes of iconic vehicles or places. I'm not sure how long it may take to get a remake of a desired vehicle, though. So if you think that a set is great and that you really, really want it and that you can afford it, you should probably buy it. Otherwise, skip it :)

    [SPOILER] The Mandalorian Discussion

I don't think Disney will waste this character so soon after he was brought back from the dead and made quite an impression on the audience :) He's good for marketing and the franchise, so he will live. Yes :) Together with the fighting on the juggernaut, it reminded me of Ventress in TCW s04 e20.
