Here is our LEGO Batcave. I realize there have been many amazing Batcave MOCS, but I wanted to give it a go anyhow. This is about 2 months of my LEGO building time. Lights are from Brickstuff. The biggest building challenge, besides the pure size, was to try to have decent rock work, and lots of different angles going on. Not sure the photos do that justice, but I was pretty happy with the overall result. I drew inspiration from some other MOC's I a have seen, and various incarnations of the Batcave in the comics. Also I have some minor homages to the previous LEGO Batcaves worked in, the Sewer from the first one, some of the details from the new Classic Batcave, and ..... very little I suppose from the 6860 set. I tried to go for a 'working' Batcave. Something with labs, work-spaces, etc. The wood section is supposed to be a leftover from the original foundation which was simply built up around. And I thought it was nice to add a little different color visually. There is a working elevator to an updated Wayne Manor that sits directly above the Batcave, I'll be adding photos of that soon. I just posted a youtube video that shows how we built the case, and some behind the scenes info on the Batcave. It may give some of you a good idea if you ever wanted to build a cabinet for a cool creation. Check it out!

Check out our updated Batcave & Wayne Manor MOC. We had to build a custom case for it, as someone made me an offer I could not refuse to buy it. I had never even thought of selling it, but after agreeing to it it led to 'how in the world am I going to ship this in one piece'. That led to coming up with a custom case. One thing led to another, I revamped the entire thing, added lighting, redid most of it, added a greenhouse and well 'scene' as an ode to Batman Begins, and this is how it all turned out.

The Batcave itself is all LEGO of course, the case is wood & bondo basically, built by a guy who really knows what he is doing. And not as easy as you think when you realize you need to actually ship something like this. Fair enough on the trees. I was pretty tired out by that point. The crazy thing is once I agreed to sell it and there is a deadline, its amazing how much time you can keep putting into each little detail. Wow, I just realized I posted this in the wrong thread. Sorry 'Tornodo' Moderator please feel free to remove my posts, or move them to the proper thread. I did not mean to hijack someone else's thread.

So I have completed the next phase with Wayne Manor. We are actually about ready to move, so I had to rush a bit at the end and there are a few details I still plan to add. But I hope everyone likes the updates. Wayne Manor is fully lit, and has a full interior. It also has a fully functional steel cage elevator that goes from a 'junk room' on the second floor down to the Batcave. It works via power functions, with controls hidden in the roof. The whole thing is modular, though due to size there are 5 different sections that come off. The trick was to still have lighting throughout. The Rolls Royce was built by my friend Alex Jones (OrionPax). More photos on my Flickr account of course. I hope you enjoy it. I'll try to get some higher quality photos in the future. I've definitely got a lot to learn with my new camera =) Here are a few photos: http://Wayne Manor 4 by Dan Glasure, on Flickr http://WM Rolls by Dan Glasure, on Flickr http://WM Study 1 by Dan Glasure, on Flickr http://WM MBR by Dan Glasure, on Flickr

Fantastic work! I know how hard it is to make something of this size, and actually have it look good!

Great work. I agree on the minifigures, not easy to get them right to a time period, and super well done. -

Hello All, I am a new member, though I have been reading the forum for a while. I thought I'd share a few pics of our City Layout which I am adding lighting from BrickStuff. We are located in Florida, in the USA. This is a section of our city that has the lighting mostly done, probably about 20% of the overall city. Hope you like it.
