Hello, Brickwest Studio, formerly submitted by BrickyBricks82 to Lego Ideas, was given a second chance in the Bricklink Designer Program Round 2 competition. Due to the tragedy on the set of Rust, this set was moved to the Round 3. It had a good chance to qualify for production in round 2 but I fear it could not in the round 3 as a lot people are chatting about the 8 other projects. Only the first five designs to reach 3,000 pre-orders will be produced. I wonder if the fans of LEGO Historic Themes plan to buy a set like this? If you do, maybe we can make it real :) I love this set because it has an Old West vibe ;) What do you think about that? If you want more details, here is the link to the Bricklink Designer Program crowdfunding and the link to the Brickwest Studio project. (I don't know BrickyBricks82 and I have no interest in this project ^^ I just love this set and would like to share it with other people who would like to get one like me ;) )

LEGO Creator 2020 - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion
sebitsena replied to Digger of Bricks's topic in Special LEGO Themes
If a re-release is coming, i would like the Imperial Flagship to put into battle with the 2020 Black Seas Barracuda. Or a re-release of a train like the Emerald Night or Horizon Express. A new plane would be nice. A minifig scale Dakota DC3 would be so nice... -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

I think we've got the official announcement date here... -
Ah, that would be great!!!

This wave of Creator sets is awesome! I got the Cruising Adventures last month and just get the Pirate Roller Coaster. As Jang said, I think the Mobile Stunt Show will be a nice addition to my Fairground Mixer. And i might get the Treasure Tree House too because it's cheap, nice and the 3 builds are very good looking. ;) The scale of models (cars and boat) seems to be better in the Creator line than in others like City. The 8 stud wide Sunshine Surfer Van, the new stunts truck and the 12 wide yacht are close to perfection! What's your opinion?

I would love to see a brand new Lego pirate ship, like TLG did with the last Imperial Flagship: 3 masts, brick-built hull, more than 2500 pieces, 7 sails at least..., you know, something wich mixes and takes the best of the Imperial Flagship for its shape and the building techniques of the Ninjago Destiny’s Bounty. But i will be happy with a re-release of the Imperial Flagship or anything else new like a big skull island or a shipwreck with a kraken. The new Pirates of the Caribbean movie is coming, the new Lego Movie with Metalbeard stuff too, and it’s the Lego Classic Pirates anniversary next year. Lego has a great opportunity to come with new pirates themed sets. Let’s hope the anniversary set will not be this year employees gift! ^^

The Carousel is smaller than the Grand Carousel and goes well with the Ferris Wheel. Its base is 40 studs large, so less than Assembly Square (48) and more than other modulars (32). If you collect modulars, an amusement park is great to display with ? But the Ferris Wheel and the Carousel look quite oversized if you have 2-3 modulars only.

Yes @Johnny1360. Straight grey track will only be in other sets like Super Heroes 76099 Rhino Face-Off by the Mine ?

It seems too be very large, very tall and very expensive. The play features should be very interesting and realistic. It is something i really appreciate in this theme. I wonder who designed it? Jamie seems to work on different projects now. Maybe it’s a Mike Psiaki creation? He used to build great thing like the last Creator Lighthouse, the Beetle, the Carousel and the Downtown Diner...

I am glad to see we are back to a single building on the baseplate. If TLG wants to release two buildings in a 32x32 area, please come with a Pet Shop like set! I did not know Marco’s work. His work on modulars is great! I especially love the museum and the villa ;) -

As we got a second restaurant this year, i think we will get a new hotel instead of a rerelease if a modular hotel is planned... -
Why not ;)

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

I miss those buildings too. I save my money for the whole Creator Expert modulars line (just found the Green Grocer at a "quite soft price", the last one i didn't have in my collection). But Creator Expert modulars are getting smaller and smaller too. I wish they stop this slimming regime! -
Do i want a Train Station? Yes. Do i want a Train Station connected to the other modulars? No. I think a Creator Expert Train Station should be a stand alone building. If it was connected to other modulars, the train track would be hard to place, whether it would be in front of the train station, behind or sideway.

Not very interested in the Harry Potter train. I would prefer a regular Creator Expert train like the Horizon Express or something like the Santa Fe...

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
sebitsena replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Patience is also a good solution to get retired sets. After i started to collect new modulars in October 2015, i found the Grand Emporium + the Fire Brigade (with box and instructions in like new condition) 6 months later for 450€ both. At the end of 2016, i found the Town Hall for 300€ (again with box and instructions in like new condition) ; only 4 bricks were missing (less than 1€ at "Briques et pièces" service on the Shop@Home). It tooks me about 3 years to find the Cafe Corner and the Market Street below 300€ each. Now, i am still looking for a Green Grocer in like new condition with box and instruction, but it's the harder to find: nothing below 600€, the lowest price i found :/ So, if you want to save money, be patient trying to find the best deal and have a daily look on eBay, Bricklink and local ads ;) -
Where did you read this?! I thought it should be around 300! Every Creator Expert rides can be motorized so i guess we will be able to ;)

Yeah, but that's just prelim. Sometimes, a minifigure is missed in the prelim and comes with the final set. The opposite may be true ;)

That's a great idea! I remember some interesting related builds in the 9V line! Plus there were lots of related cars to add to the train 4539-1: Manual Level Crossing 4555-1: Cargo Station 4553-1: Train Wash 4537-1: Octan Twin Tank Rail Tanker 4536-1: Blue Hopper Car 4549-1: Container Double Stack 4544-1: Car Transport Wagon with Car

Yes, set 60204. But i did not see anything about a sound or light brick mentioned on the box?! Nothing on the box but requires 2 LR41 batteries. So yes, light brick inside ;)
