-
Would love to try this! Is there any chance of a picture of the underneath?

Hi there, it's been a while, but i would like to present my latest moc, this time a star wars moc of my favorite imperial ship, the tie bomber!! it took me a while to complete, and i had to make a few bricklink orders for it, but i think it was worth it. i took some inspiration from other mocs out there, but mostly worked from pictures of the real thing. i hope you enjoy it! comments and criticism much appreciated:) Toni (ps. the interceptor is rebel builders design: check out his you tube channel!!) Thanks for the comments:) its quite sturdy and can be picked up one handed from the middle bit, but i wouldnt swoosh it lol. its mostly hollow inside, just some snot bricks on side of fuselages to hold the curve bits on, and so e bricks inside mostly to support the roofs. i forgot to take a picture of the cockpit, but its pretty standard. Also, theres hardly any technic in this moc Thanks, toni

Possible new Speed Champions set? New FORD GT / Classic GT40
ToniMontana replied to P3_Super_Bee's topic in LEGO Town
I definatly hope for more classic race cars. I was a bit dissapointed with the look of the 917k, my second favorite car lol, but some good design ideas to improve my moc though. Ideally i'd love a gulf livery gt, but awesome potential model anyway:) -

Hello, This is my latest moc, a lego movie robo swat at-st! i wasnt quite sure where to put this topic as it's a bit of a mish mash of themes, but here it is. i wanted to make an at-st as i dont own any, but then thought about making it in space police 1 colours. but as i don't have any sp1 parts or figures i quickly decided on robo swat as i love their design and dropship so much. i started by following the instructions for the endor base version of the model, but heavily modified it, with the most noticable change being using ball joints instead of the silly/unstable gear system for the movable legs. i also significantly upped the armour plating and added more detail. this moc stands up, and is relativly stable for what is essentially a heavy box on skinny legs :). i hope you enjoy. i'm seriously starting to think that an AT-AT would look pretty slick in this colour scheme :) maybe one for the future. hi! this is a moc i made of the new batmobile. i basically stripped the official lego set down to the chassis, and redid a lot of it, while keeping what worked and didnt need fixed from the official set. the most work went into the front end. i can see now why the designers didnt include the wheel covers on the set lol. i actually had to connect them using stud shooter plates. (they dont fall off quite so often once i removed the triggers hehe) i'm not quite happy with it yet, the front is still a bit bulky, but it does the job till i get round to reworking it at some point in the future. i'll add updates then. i also added a picture of all my bat-mocs together. the tumbler is certainly next on the list to be re done. you can find more pictures on my flikr page. hopefully i'll soon manage to get some decent pictures up. Thats why i much prefer collecting the marvel minifigs. It seems there are Far more variations and different characters compared to DC. Aside from the 15 identical spideys. A main reason i bought a lot of the figs seperatly. I am tempted to start collecting all the different batmen though...
-
Thanks. My thoughts exactly. The meanness is what i love about the new batmobile and the tumbler and the bat, over the other past batmobiles
-
Those characters are the most popular and sell sets. At least batman has tons of variations unlike spiderman.....

Cool. I got this set today with the intentionof reworking/rebuilding it into something better. I like the turret, ive been scratching my head over what to do for it, might nick your design ^_^

Wow!!

I think it's a brick built road.. hard to tell with fuzzy scan though

What got you into collecting Lego as an Adult?
ToniMontana replied to badchriss's topic in Community
when still at Uni, a few years ago i was out shopping with a friend and saw the 7965 millennium falcon and had to have it straight away, and shortly after i bought myself the vw camper van for my birthday. i would occasionally buy a small set, but it was really last year, when i moved into a flat with no internet access (hugely annoying btw) that i became hooked again. i worked in a bar and used my tips to buy lego for something to do ^_^ . i never really lost interest throughout my teens, but with things like guitars and going out being more interesting to a 15-23 yr old, it took a back seat. sometimes wish it stayed that way lol but it's good fun. better spending money on lego than on booze ;) -
nice, i love the gulf oil livery. that's what I'm gonna use for my new gt40 moc :D

Hi, nice mod! i actually made one of these about a year ago as it's one of my favorite race cars. i'm definitly thinking about getting the set though for the parts and stickers to improve upon my moc 917k Hope these pics give some inspiration :) toni Lego Porsche 917 moc by toni lynam, on Flickr Porsche 917 by toni lynam, on Flickr

Hello there, here are a few more of my mocs i made a while ago, this time, they're for batman! all are my own creation, but the bat is a heavily modified version of velociraptors(i believe, it's been a while since i made them) , and is a bit smaller and a lot sturdier. i can't remember who designed the bat pod.... More pics can be found on my flikr page: https://www.flickr.c...s/125494760@N04 Enjoy! feedback is most welcome. ps, sorry about the poor photography, black is very hard to photograph...
