LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors
Deathstroke77 replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
March. -
Just found this thread, thought I'd post a few concerns of mine - I mean no offence to any moderators of this site, please don't see it as such. - Is it really necessary to chamber so many people for off-topic chatter? The big reply that was posted was certainly enough to get everyone's heads down and back in line. If someone had posted multiple off-topic comments, surely a simple PM saying something like 'Hey, could you try staying on topic next time, please? It makes the thread hard to follow for others' would've sufficed, unless the member has veered off-topic a couple times before. In some of the other boards I've been on the site, all that was needed was a mod to put things back in the right direction. I don't think the need for chambering multiple individuals for going off-topic was entirely necessary, an affirmative reply to put things back on track and maybe a few PM's if necessary would have done the job just fine. - I also noticed how I kind of had to guess why on earth I was there. I wouldn't say I was insulted, that's the wrong word, but it's something along those lines, I can't think of the word. I also talked to two other members on other platforms outside of Eurobricks while I (and they) were in the Chamber and brought up this topic, and they both agreed they weren't fond of how that was handled. I kind of felt like I was a 4 year old getting sat in the Naughty Corner, which I thought was a bit odd, really, considering this a site for adults only - I've been on various other sites where children are allowed to stroll around and post whatever they please, and had a chat with a moderator where I've been told by the mod 'Hey, you breached a rule here, could you edit that out, please?' or something. With all due respect, having to guess what I've done wrong felt a little childish to me. I'm sure there's a reason why you guys use that kind of approach, but I'm certainly not all for it. Again, no offence to any the moderation team.

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

I quite agree, I'm all Batman'd out, for now, after this Summer Wave. -

There's no confirmation we're getting one, but there's been nothing to say we won't get one, either. If we do though, I doubt it'll be any bigger than the Summer Wave. -
The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

Much appreciated. Also, those Summer Sets are very disappointing. The Batwing set sucks so hard, as does the Two-Face set. The Bane set is... okay? It's definitely the strongest on the minifigure front, but I can't decide whether I love or hate Bane's vehicle. The Scarecrow set I really like though. It's small, two great figs (guess the value of my Arkham Batman is gonna plummet now though with the re-use of the molded wings), and that little helicopter is incredibly pleasing, for some reason. Definitely picking that one up. Overall, very disappointing, for the most part. I hope the rumoured 5th set somewhat makes up for it. -

It looks kinda cheap, but let's be honest, Lando's ESB outfit isn't too detailed, so the lack of detail doesn't necessarily make it a custom. -

God damn I hope this is real (the Lando). I strongly recommend you remove the link from your post though, you might get into a spot of trouble for that. -

Definitely, they wouldn't use the old versions when they have the updated version at their disposal, like how they've used placeholder stuff for what we can assume is 4-LOM. And, as I said in my previous comment, I do slightly regret getting the Eclipse Fighter now Dengar is in the Battle Pack, but oh well, now I can have duplicates -

Very disappointing wave. At least my wallet is safe. The Bounty Hunter pack looks fantastic, and I can finally get my hands on Bossk (it makes me somewhat regret my purchase of the Eclipse Fighter, but alas, I quite like the ship itself), instant purchase for me. Vader Transformation looks decent as it did before, but otherwise, the rest of the sets are incredibly disappointing. One of the worst SW waves I've seen in a while. I hope the The Last Jedi sets (remember those, everyone :p) make up for an otherwise disappointing wave. -
This is the LEGO Star Wars board, so I assume this can be posted here... At least I hope so Anyway: http://www.starwars.com/news/the-official-title-for-star-wars-episode-viii-revealed?cmp=smc|785924754 Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Neat. Looking forward to seeing what LEGO brings out for this movie, fingers crossed for a LEGO version of Snoke and obviously of old Luke!

Huh, kind of sucks that BB-8 is the big deal in this Calendar. Disappointing. Have you seen any of the summer sets we have not so far? -

Can you provide some details? Any key figures or builds that were missing from the earlier images? -

It is indeed London Toy Fair today, so I'm sure that various sites will put information up, and I recall some users here noting they'd be attending, so we might get some information from them. Either way, I can almost taste more summer set news. -

I agree with Cap, this is getting a little hard to follow. -
I think that the Brazilian title of the film I think it was referred to Jedi as masculine, so I assume that the term Jedi refers to Luke, not Luke and Rey.

Same, unfortunately. Probably either Luke or Leia, likely the latter though due to Carrie's passing.

Whatever you can gather, fine sir. Don't feel pressed into looking into every nook and cranny of each set for us here. If you spot anything of note, report back, but don't feel pressured into finding everything out for us. -

Can't say I'm too disheartened, the main draw from the Hangar would likely be the figs anyway, and the main one came in the A-Wing. -

The Snowspeeder rumour is becoming more and more likely to become true, and it's really disappointing. We don't need a remake, especially when there's loads of possibilities for other UCS vehicles or playsets such as Cloud City or the Ghost (just naming sets that could be made into a UCS version, really), for example. I hope this remains a rumour and it doesn't come true. -

Oh, they'll available for sure some time in the future, we aren't exactly sure when though. -

The Joker one will probably be a promo, I imagine, and the Batmobile I'd imagine will be made available for purchase in stores like TRU or something. Also, is that some sort of polybag set? -

I'm guessing that this Vader set consists of Vader, Burnt Anakin and Palpatine, figure-wise. Vader, obviously, is there, Burned Anakin is on the other side of the table, and, not only would it fit since he's there in the movie, obviously, Palpatine's gold-hilted lightsaber is also there on the lightsaber rack on the right of Vader. -

I'll probably only buy the Bounty Hunter battle pack and Vader Transformation, and maybe the Republic Tank. Might buy the OW Starfighter, too, depending on the price and minifigs.
