Admittedly, some of the figs are ok, like Dengar, but for the most part, the Freemaker crap sucks. Even the little kids who watch the show probably don't pick it up when they see a set next to it with Boba Fett or Darth Vader in. And like Wesker said, they just clog up the shelves, and they take up parts of the already limited waves thanks to the new movie sets. The Freemaker sets can't be doing too well, hopefully LEGO have realised that and will stop releasing them. We could be having Rebels sets instead of this crap, or more CW stuff.

I'll probably just wait until the sales. None of these sets particularly float my boat, and I can't continue saving up for the UCS Slave 1 by cashing in for some of these sets.

I agree, I still need a Leia, and we haven't had her in a relatively cheap set for years now.

I'm still very curious as to why some of these ridiculous batsuits are being put out but not a single Batman Beyond suit. I mean, come on! I bet some of these aren't even in the movie, or at the very back of the batsuit chamber, but a suit like this is left on the fence. Just irritates me really.

The Batsignal thing is cool, and so is the keyring. The keyring might be quite valuable in a couple years, especially since it's from an exclusive poly.

Yay, more guessing. I'm guessing some unwanted UCS vehicle like a Snowspeeder or a Cloud Car that'll be a very easy pass. Oh, a Falcon. Easy pass then. As iconic as the Falcon is, I've never really felt the desire to buy one, especially not some super-sized, ridiculously priced version. Oh well, I guess it saves my wallet. Or not, if I decide to buy the UCS Slave 1 instead.

Interesting. So it's Burned Anakin, Vader and Palpatine for Vader Transformation, which is neat, the Arrowhead looks cool and so does the Tracker set, though I doubt I'll buy them. However, these are quite disappointing. Not very appealing to me, but there's more sets we'll see, and those seem to just be Freemaker sets, a CW set and an Episode III set. I think there'll be more movie stuff in there as well.

Man, that Batwing sucks. It just looks so bland and boring, but I do appreciate how it looks like a Bat (if you were viewing from above). Honestly, the builds for TLBM have been very disappointing. There've been a few exceptions, such as the Riddle Racer, Lowrider, Arctic Roller and Arkham, but all the sets have drawbacks that stop me from wanting them other than the Riddle Racer which I will pick up (The Lowrider is too pricey and only has 3 figs for a £50 set, The Arctic Roller only has 2 minifigs (the Riddle Racer for the same price has 5) and Arkham again is very pricey so I won't be picking that up). I hope we return to normal DC Superheroes sets in 2018.

I agree. Especially since we only had a regular Snowspeeder set just 2 years ago. We have a few playsets in the form of the DS and Hoth, but let's face it, the DS is a ridiculous amount of money, and Hoth is extremely disappointing. They don't quite fill the void that the Ewok Village and Sandcrawler are going to leave. It pains me a little to say I want one, but we haven't actually had a prequel-based UCS set in a long time. In fact the only one I recall is the Darth Maul bust. And again, this is where a Cloud City UCS set could come in. A big playset, plenty of desirable minifigs and would fill the void of the lack of Bespin sets since the old CC in 2003. This is merely speculation of course, but I think more UCS playsets would benefit LEGO more than UCS vehicles. While collectors want them, if a kid has saved up his money and sees a UCS Falcon or this whopping great UCS playset, they're probably going to want the latter.

We haven't had a Cloud City set for a painfully long time - maybe that'll be our UCS set? Maybe make it just a huge building that opens out with various iconic scenes in there - like the old one just with more stuff in there. But we're at least 10 years overdue for a new Cloud City set, and it'd make sense I guess if they make it a UCS set. They'd want to milk the money out of us for the updated Lando, Leia and Luke, if not some exclusive prints in there too on other figures like Boba.

I don't think people are exactly happy about it, just that it's a change from the norm of seeing NA get the sets early when we have to wait. And you sum it up completely in your last sentence. You're used to it, getting sets on schedule. Most of us often have to wait for sets to come out in our regions when you are away building and reviewing the new sets. We're used to getting sets delayed, whereas you're used to having them on time or early. It's not fair, you're right, but I think people aren't exactly happy you're getting them late, just a little relieved that we're getting them earlier for once (especially with licensed themes, you often seem to get them earlier than everyone else). Anyway, we should probably move on from this topic, it's clearly a sensitive one for most and it might turn ugly if we keep going.

Two-Face and Harley's trucks suck, but I really like Scarecrow's copter, and Bane's vehicle isn;t too bad either. Hopefully they have good bat-vehicles to accompany them in the set.

Agreed. It's all well and good saying you've seen them and what they look like, but why not take a picture and post it? Like BrickRapper said, you don't even have to buy the book to take a few snaps, and it should be even easier if you have the book. Just upload them to Imgur and paste the link. Don't keep us guessing and speculating when you have the means to stop that and provide some much needed news regarding the Summer sets.

Yeah, was just going to post about this. Such a horrible loss. You are one with the Force, the Force is with you. You are one with the Force, the Force is with you. This is simply heart-breaking to hear. She's an amazing woman, and she has played one of my favourite Star Wars characters of all time, to which I owe her a debt for help making my love for Star Wars. The thing is, she isn't even old. She was only, what, about 60? She hadn't even lived her life out - she had many years of acting and enjoyment still in her. Such a terrible loss. I offer her family and friends my condolences. Thank you Carrie, for being a part of my favourite films, and making my childhood. May the Force be with you.

I had a few sets this year, Krennic's Shuttle, TIE Advanced Prototype (Inquisitor set), the Eclipse Fighter, Takodana and also one of the old planet sets, Bespin. I always like little builds like that - the Cloud Car is neat, the planet itself is a nice mould and the minifigure in this case is pretty awesome; it's the only flesh-coloured Lobot (there's the old one but he has the yellow head) out there. I would've thought they'd have thrown a Wing Guard in there, but it's really great to get Lobot. Now they just need to re-release a Cloud City set so we can have an ESB Lando (grrrr) to go with him

Nah, the torso is fine, I was just hoping there was an accurate Grand Admiral torso print out there I could use instead so the fig is more accurate, but if there isn't, oh well. He's still Thrawn. What bugs me though is that I get the horrible feeling they'll re-release him in another set next summer or 2018 with the correct torso print, which, while it's good to get a new, correct, torso print, it sucks that I'd have to get another set just to get a completely accurate depiction.

It won't be time for some regions yet (it isn't even time here yet, but I want to send out my wishes now rather than late in day tomorrow), but anyway, Merry Christmas fellow LEGO Star Wars fans! Get ready for the Boxing Day sales now

Just to check, there's no other minifig with a uniform similar to that of Thrawn's but with the correct insignia out there is there? The only one that's similar to Thrawn's I can think of is Krennic's, but I'm fairly sure he has the same insignia on his torso too.
