I traded a minifig for Quinlan Vos so I got both Quinlan and Eeth Koth, but they both had a Quinlan head. If anyone got Eeth Koth's head in a wrong place and is willing to trade for Quinlan head, send me a PM. I'd be really grateful!

Cool news, I'm excited about the Pre Vizsla's Mandalorian Fighter. I presume we'll get another Obi Wan Kenobi and hopefully we get the duchess Satine as well! I think we don't get enough "civilian" CW figs (the ones that are not Jedi nor Clones ...) The CW Padme would also be a nice addition in some set.

I think that those figs have nothing to do with the Flying Dutchman. Though I'd really like to see them all and we probably will in some other sets (Tia's shack), I'd prefer to see as many FD crew members in that set as possible. Also a variant with Becket and a few of his guys would be cool, but please LEGO spare us another Jack or Will!

Congratulations to the winners. I think this was one of the best contests since I'm following this forum, especially entries vise. All of them were very well made and it was really hard to vote. Also the rewards are awesome. I drooled over the missed Arkham set but sadly had no time to participate. But most probably I wouldn't even make it in top 3 :D

Although I too would like to see the kingdoms or fantasy to continue, I am also very excited about the LOTR theme! Can't wait for all the new fleshies ... P.S.: I told everyone Derfel wasn't talking trash about the cereal box!

As usually instead of saying what all is great (a lot of things) I'll just state what I'd change. As mentioned I too am not fond of the front two doors. Don't even remember Pearl having any entrances to the front. Another thing is I find it too high. If you remove the front doors and lower the gun holes for one brick, I think it would look nicer. I do understand there might be some problems at the end with the arcs, but it's worth to try it. If it was intended so, that the bottom part is meant to be under the water, then it's not too high, but then the back arcs are too low ... But all in all it's the best LEGO Pearl I've seen and I especially love the stern!! edit: I also miss the hole in the deck to enter the gun deck.

Nice review, I must say this is a deffinite buy for me. I love the minifigures, but probably everyone agrees that Wonderwoman would look better with flesh torso and legs with red printings!

I'd rather not call this the Black Pearl for the inaccuracies it has. The mentioned number of masts is a big difference. Also I really like your idea of solving the back under the cabin, but it really looks nothing like the Pearl. it's awesome for a generic ship though and as such it's a very good build! I'd also really like to see a Pearl with an accurate long cabin version. If you look at the side view of the Pearl, the cabin part + the fence for stairs and additional cannons is almost 1/3 of the hull length. I'll try to make my version, but need to bricklink some more sails and the black hull middle parts. I'm not buying two sets for just a few parts ... hope to post my solution in a near future.

I really like this new series. It has many new accesories not only old ones in different colors like Genies tail and lamp, teddy bear, sword, roman shield etc. I'm new to all this minifigs stuff and my favorite themes are castle and pirates. Therefor I recently started collecting all the dwarfs and gladiators, also Vikings from S4. Minotaurs, the romans and Celtic warriors will come in the next wave :) I really hope that LEGO does some pirates if there's any more series!

Hi, I'm thinking of joining this guild, but I need to wait until I have more time. Currently I'm too busy even to build my character. I have a suggestion for the (already great) map of this area. For this is based mostly on desert region I think a jungle would be appropriate as well! I think a good location would be south of Red River to continue the existing forest into a jungle and south east area near the Noctornus borders where sand cliffs meet the mountains. There's a lot of space for a big jungle, and I have some ideas for buildings for my tribe in that area. Also this would bring some diversity into this guild and not every MOC will look alike being built on tan plates, using tan or nougat pieces from Prince or Pharaoh theme. This could add some jungle temples in gray colors and mix in some Mayan-like culture and architecture.

I'd really like this to be true! If there's really multiple ships in production I just hope we don't have to wait until november for the Dutchman.

Wow, nice ships. I think the Freighter is too similar to millennium falcon. I'd vote for the Mantis or Thunderclap. I really like the futuristic asymmetric ships!

Yes, might have been just rumors and also a false one, didn't follow this theme's discussions so strictly, so it might have been misunderstood by me or already explained otherwise in the Licensed theme forum. Just remember reading about it and am not searching for it since I didn't mark it anywhere ... Anyway, I'm just stating my opinion and how I picture myself all the things going on about this theme. Also I'm too new here and don't know anyone in person, so I don't know who the "insiders" are and whom to believe and who's just making a fool of everyone. I find Derfels post on page 17 interesting, though I have no idea if the person has any connection to LEGO. Of course the post was sarcastic with the cereals box, but hey, some people understand things differently and some rethink them twice ... Anyway as I've already said it was just my opinion and my picture of everything and I don't mean to argue with anyone. And have in mind there's always pessimists and optimists and there's people who like the theme's idea and those who don't. Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between the supporting pessimist and the optimist who is against the idea :D

As far as I've heard, there's talk about LEGO LOTR video game, which (for me) counts as the biggest proof. Mortal Kombat was just a ordinary game, not a LEGO minifigures game and as such has no connections to LEGO what so ever. Or did I miss something?! If I add my two cents, I feel very suspicious about this theme. For one reason, we all know there's people around here that have proofs and have maybe even seen things, but are not allowed to tell. That's why they are mostly calming us down to wait and see. I think if it wasn't for this theme to come out, they'd just be like; yeah good idea, but sorry it's not happening ...

Bariss is my new favorite figure! Love the short cape and the blue hood! And yes, I don't have a problem with the CW faces, I really like them.

This raffle really kicks a*s and the generousity is at its highest! I really feel sorry for those few unlucky ones, but I'm already saved. On the first day :D A big thanks to CopMike and anyone else involved. Do we have to hurry up with our addresses, or are all rewards going to be shipped at the end of everything? Also are swaps to be arranged only within the same day participants. If the swaps rule is not abandoned I think it might be good to make a topic for people to tell what they want to exchange and after arrangements send PMs (just a suggestion, though I understand it means some extra effort for the organizers).

It is clearly said when registering that this is an "adult toy forum" not just a "toy forum". Therefor most of the reviews are written in a mature way, without any comments like: this set rules cos it just does, and stuff like that you expect from 13 years old kids. Also most MOCs are of a higher quality and you will always get a fast and appropriate reply if you ask a question. Never something like: "LOL noob, U don't know that?!". This is also how adults prefer it and that's why I think admins here are doing a really great job cleaning the forums. There's plenty of other forums for kids as well, but everyone prefers this one for the amount of information and especially the way it is given! That's also why here and there kids stop by and as far as I know, they've never been banned or pushed away in any way as long as they can behave.

I must agree with that! I think this is one of the most, no, it's the most organized forum I've ever been to, and since I'm an IT, I've been to many. If you want to see an example of a bad forum, go to the official Starcraft 2 forum .... where good and constructive debates sink very fast but the stupid ones stay on top for there's always enough stupidity to be added to a thread.
