to me, they really are "polished" ones would so much see a bigger moc from the creator, with this detail level

Hey everybody I finally come close to the final design of my "MOD", of another MOC I shamely copy on mocpages... but an "unfinished" work, IMHO. You can find the original one here --> http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/319082 "Bahamut Dragon" by Bryant Angel And here's my update I don't have redone the neck now but LDD start to depressing me , so I start to collect the 2500 pieces needed for him, already had about 500 gramms of 'em quickly collected from my stock. Here is some work in progress on his feets, to let him gently collect his food when needed :o ( I had assured myself that a cow could fit in its claws :D ) I just hope I made it enough posable and strong to spill his disaster in the poor Minifigs world, and I think so, but LDD give big surprise sometimes when it come to real :D A look at the scale of this King, the poor Minifigs could not even make a deal with this giant... I had just "copied" more or less another MOC than u can see on the left, and had do some "improvements" to let this poor creature be able to stand on his feets, he cleary deserved it by it's design, but was just totally empty and could not even stand his single torso with the poor connections he had... (for exemple, legs connected to hips by only one stud, take a look at the original lxf on mocpages) Plus he was a bit too slim, always my 2 cents :O

Many thanks :D -
The perfect brickbuilt wing is a cloth, but doing your own in good quality, I don't know if it is easily feasable

From where come these fur-capes? The gold chrome visor is original? got the gloden knight in the tower castle set, but don't remember that his visor was so nice

I will start to buy missing pieces in about ten days maybe, waiting for the payday ... -
He's great but doesn't seem playable or articulated?

If not an "UCS-style", brick-built dragons will never looks awesome, I had both the fiery legend 6751 and the new 3in1 red creatures creator set 31032 I personally think that they are the best brick buit dragons in an official set for their scales But I assume that i'll prefer the future mine here :p

I would like it in purple instead of dark red, but the corner roof piece that I mainly used on the backbone doesn't exist in BL -

there already were armored skeletons in the fantasy era line no big deal, that's more or less means the same thing (I'm French) if only it could be a valkyrie .... this chaos warrior looks pretty cool with his unique hairpiece the other one doesn't look bad too, but less original Edit by Hinckley: Quoted pictures removed. Please do not quote pictures. Remove them from the quote you are responding to before posting. Thank you. -
I think that there's a "problem" with the western theme for Lego these days, the "racism", cause it can be viewed as the white guys vs the non-white guys.... cowboys vs bandits could do the work, but does the kids still even interested in this theme, with the culture and education nowadays, especially for the US market???
-
I think that adults love more the castle themes than children do.... But the popular themes of this audience today (witcher / ASOIF) are quite violent, which is not really compatible with the lego group strategy I am very curious to see the sales of the "fantasy era" line, compared to the other castle lines. Cause it clearly was so much better than the other lines we got over the time IMHO. If they want a success Castle line, I strongly think they need FANTASY or mythology, to piqued interest.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 15 Rumors and Discussion

Guerrier volant only means flying warrior, or the translation was bad since it cames on the french website... Fighter is translate into "combattant", in french. We already had aviators, the one from old times with leather hat and glasses(serie 3 or 4?), and the white one with the cape and hairpiece in costume. I just hope so much that it isn't a pilot.... but a valkyrie or some winged knight Also, evil knight has already been done... So what will this one looks like? -

The only hope is for a D2C set, or a new movies line, but do they still will have the license when it'll eventually happen one day? I just hope personally that they will do a future castle line with so much detailled figs, cause the sets themselves were not so incredible, except for Orthanc, IMHO.
-
This set is pretty cool, but I'd never get 200€ in that anyway :p After a closer look, the figs got nothing that special... plus there's a bunch of useless skeletons. I'd prefer get my money into real sets like the troll warship, the skeleton tower, the King castle siege, etc... even the calendar of that year is a better bargain IMHO.
-
I don't really get the Nexo Knights line, Isn't it some sort of Ninjago stuff? I mean that line can directly be in competition with the other, no? I think that's the same public who is targetted on these 2 lines... so what's the point? I would love to see the fantasy era amount of sales, compare to the last castle line sales. With a "so basic and no brainstorming" design, that's not a surprise that the castle line doesn't work so great .
