Wow! Great new images! Ki-Adi looks amazing. I'm not sure where you guys can see Commander Wolff in the cruiser, but I have to admit his arms look gray and there's a blur around his visor/eye-hole thing (not sure what to call it) it's still too early to tell though. What's the 2nd clone holding? I can't tell. Maybe a jet-pack but that wouldn't make sense. A lot of the figures look better in the list than in the art. It's as if they are more updated in the list of figures they have different torsos and look clearer (or is that just me?)...

Actually, though those are gone, the Star Wars images are still available for a limited time Here. Act quickly though as these are sure to be deleted soon and good luck to those who have yet to see them.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that there are 2 types of Geonosians. The warrior drones and the workers. The warriors have wings and do a lot of the fighting, and the workers do not have wings and 'work'. To me it makes scene to have a Geonosian without wings in the fighter because he would fit better.

Savage is defiantly in the Dathomir speeder. In mean what else could a yellow blob battling a brown haired Jedi be? It defiantly looks like Ventress, Anakin, and Savage. For the Podracers, I can make out Sebulba, Little Ani, Ani's rodian friend, Jedi (Obi or Qui not sure as lightsaber color means nothing, remember Plo's prelims? He had a green lightsaber) and a blue blob (presumable Watto). Can't make out the Geonosis fighter or Ewok attack sets, but the Sith infiltrator has only 3 figures. Maul, Jedi (most likely Qui), and a blue blob with funny hair which has a high probability of being Padme (in that scene in the movie she wears a blue outfit). Edit: Whoops! all of the above was posted before new photos. We posted at the same time.

It's supposed to be the same ship, just gray and with a bunch of giant guns on the sides. Looking at the tiny picture and comparing it to my Consular (the old red one) the general shape is the same, but the cockpit looks slightly better. Unfortunately, it looks like we're getting another escape pod and they still didn't get the shape of the underside of the front of the ship right. Then again, this is still preliminary so it will hopefully look better as a final product.

2011 Lego sets are available to buy in USA and Canada! They are still not listed anywhere else though. Wonder where Mace's fighter is...
-
The description for the Clone BP is weird. What cannon turret? Stupid mistake. Also, the sets are only listed in the USA and Canada and even then they are listed as 'Not Available' but will probably be soon. The Battle for Geonosis has a really strange image of the cannon. Another note: I can only seem to get the images for Battle of Geonosis and both BP's. The rest just load, and load, and load and never show the pictures.

Actually in the TV show the canon turns by walking so that's accurate.

Hey all! I was just fiddling around with my loose Lego's and came up with this. It's loosely based on the Lego set 'Cad Bane's Speeder' and the EasyRide airspeeder which is where I got the inspiration for the overall shape/design. The color and size are the biggest differences. The pictures don't quite do it justice though. Also with a limited assortment of parts (I don't like to destroy my sets for parts usually) it turned out pretty well. I would love to hear feedback and thoughts for improvements are much appreciated. In particular, I was wondering if it actually looks better for the back to be the front. That would mean swapping engines with headlights and moving the pilot to the other side which is quite simple actually. Overall View: Front View: Back View: Right Side: Left Side: Comparison to the real thing. and this: Thanks for your feedback! All pictures are on my Brickshelf when public. Edit: I have just finished revising it so it's closer to the easyride. This way the red works a bit better, though if I can tweak it enough and it comes out amazing (not likely) I may get it in a different color through LDD. If it's just okay then I wont bother and just live with it. Pictures will be here soon. Still a WIP though and open for suggestions/improvements.

Thanks guys! Yeah, I agree that it's suffering from red overload, but I had the most parts in red for whatever reason. I may try to find a few other colors and try to modify the look. The hardest part for me was the base. I'm going to try to insert the bump-like things but I may end up reverting back to the roof slopes if it fails to achieve what I'm after. I'll post the updated version soon. Thanks again. -Cad Bane

Yes! Finally we get Ki Adi Mundi... but wait. If it's Clone Wars, which it will be without a doubt, then he'll probably have some kind of rubber extension to his head. He will either be really good or a disaster. Fingers crossed. I'm also really excited about Maul. I missed the last ones, but will definitely get this one, especially if he has horns. Hopefully the horns are a new mold that they can also apply to Savage Oppress! That would make my day. Also, if the Falcon includes Luke, then it's most likely from ANH as that is when they're on it together. But Lego could just though Luke in there no matter what movie. Hopefully the Falcon comes with Chewie, he needs a redesign. He has no eyes, just eye holes! Plus his proportions are odd.

I don't think that this set is specific to any particular episode. Mace was on Ryloth, but his starfighter didn't appear until Death Trap. Plus, the only time we see a Tactical Droid on that kind of speeder is on Naboo, but in that case the Droid is red/brown not blue. So in the end, I don't think this is based on much. Lego just wanted an excuse to stick a Tactical Droid in with Mace's starfighter so this set is technically a mix of Ryloth (Mace & STAPs), Naboo (2 STAPs and Tactical Droid on Speeder), and Vanqor (Mace's Starfighter). All in all a very scattered set, but when has Lego always stuck completely to the story. Just be happy you get Mace in a cheaper set and a Tactical Droid! (Which we knew was coming ever since the preliminary images of the Clone Turbo Tank) On another note. Does anyone else think we may see Cato Parasititi some time in the future? If you remember, her mask/helmet was on Sugi in the Preliminary Pictures of the Bounty Hunter Gunship.

Actually, I was referring to the piece that covers part of the dome (so raised) but I now realise that you wanted to cover the legs to give the impression that the astromech is facing forward, not sideways. To accomplish this, you had to cover the legs with a piece that also covers the bottom sliver of the dome. Sorry about the misunderstanding. Also, now that I've seen the official version of Mace's fighter, I'm liking yours more and more. Lego really screwed up on that one by the looks of the pictures. Though I hope new pictures and reviews will shine a better light on the product. Keep up the awesome work. Maybe Saesee's Starfighter when/if it appears. (hint of some sort of flying vehicle with Seasee in it during 2nd half of season 3 preview)

Actually, with the new blue STAPs the stabilizer fins are quite large, though not as huge as Lego made them. Unfortunately, I don't think there is a way to make them in the right size so I think a little too big will just have to be passable. I'm looking forward to this set anyways, a cheap way to get a Mace for some, but I can't wait for the Tactical Droid and R8 is just a bonus!

Thanks so much! He looks awesome! Merry Christmas!

Hello everyone. I'm an avid Lego fan, and have been so for years. I have been following this site for well over a year now, and i felt like I should join the discussions. I have been closely following the Star Wars topic as it interests me the most and is the majority of my Lego collection. I am a fan of the new Clone Wars TV show, though many dislike it, and i think it is a worthy contribution to the Star Wars universe. This TV show is where I got my name/image as he is a very quotable bounty hunter who appears in many an episode. Happy (almost) Holidays!

Great MOCs KielDaMan I like your use of colors especially in Plo's starfighter as it's a much more accurate blue. Great seat design and lightsaber storage. One change I would make is the Astromech droid hieght. On several fighters, it sits one level too low, cutting off the printing/dome. (just a suggestion) I can't wait to see Mace's official starfighter, but from what I've seen so far, yours seems more accurate in color. It appears that Lego's version has way too much gray and patterning, but that may just be their interpretation of all the faint lines on his starfighter. Amazing work!

Wow! Amazing extensive collection. You could have made that minifigure poster from 2009 (I think) all by yourself, and probably done a better and more complete job too. Nice customs by the way. Like the way you made the holograms in the same style as the emperor hologram from the Imperial Star Destroyer! Very cool!

Sorry, I just joined and am still learning. I asked myself the same question because i quoted bluejet321 not sure why your name was associated with the quote. I apologize. I'm not sure what i did wrong and I also can't seem to link things. It's really weird. Anyway, on and on-topic note why people don't want new blasters, I've got plenty of the old ones and the new ones look accurate. It's good to have a variety, it gives your army a "we're not all identical even though we are" feel.

Today I bought Cad Bane's Speeder and Luke's Landspeeder. Cool sets with minimal features, but lots of spectacular minifigures which is the main reason i bought the set. Hope to start seeing reviews of the January wave soon so I can decide what to buy. Happy Holidays and my best wishes that you receive (or go and buy for yourself) the Lego set you wanted!

My name, Cad Bane, is pretty simple in its origin. I simply love his character. He is very quotable and is the coolest bounty hunter in the clone wars era. Plus, I just bought the Clone Turbo Tank and Cad Bane's Speeder which both include him as a Lego dude. I hope to see more of him on the show and find more awesome or random quotes for my signature. He has a cool look to him and commands respect, sort of. Some of my favorite quotes are: "I'm in control, I make the rules now!" "I just hate it when somebody does my job" "...I don't work for free" "I'll take on any job, for the right price." Lot's of awesome and creative names everyone, see ya around the forums!

Wow! Amazing work Jebediahs! I've been wondering for quite some time where people got those awesome cartooned figures. Is there anyway for you to do Cad Bane? Here are some reference pictures: The lego version: Parts are listed here on BrickLink: http://www.bricklink...Inv.asp?M=sw285 and the real version: More pictures at Wookieepedia Thanks a bunch! Can't wait to see the magic you work on this amazing figure and the end result.

I don't know how much you already know, but at this point we have pictures of the figures and the sets (besides clear images of Mace's starfighter) and they are up on TRU. Most of the info is on the first post, but the major current discussion deals with the brand new pictures of the minifigures. We have gotten close ups of most of the major figures and most people are disappointed with the mando face, as they are all Pre Visla (their leader) and they look very creepy. Hope that helps, but if you need more clarification please be more specific as to what you're confused about.

That's weird, I usually buy from Lego anyway. Hopefully they'll have them up soon or I may just have to buy from TRU. I wonder, if these are supposed to be January wave sets, why does TRU have them so early?
