What did you get to get the exclusive fig?

Just ordered General Grievous’ Starfighter, Clone, Snowtrooper, and Rebel Trooper battlepacks and a Series 4 fig. to get my Shadow ARF. I know, last minute, but I made the cut by around a two minutes. Well, the sale is over, but the page is still up (they took the extra stuff down seconds after the promotion ended). It now just tells about the Falcon drawing which is still going on... EDIT: Just checked, and as of now, the sale prices on the few discounted items are still on sale. So if that's worth it to you, you can still get them cheap...er

LEGO Star Wars 2011 Pictures & Rumors

The poster was only supposed to be UCS sets from the last 10 years, but it says "Over ten years of Ultimate Lego Star Wars Sets", so wouldn't that imply that all 11 years of UCS sets would be shown? I'm not sure of Lego's reasoning on this... Still, it's a decent poster/freebie, but the minifigs poster from a couple years back was much cooler...

This is a much bigger pic (and therefore clearer). It clearly says the 16th. Hope this helps!

Is is just me, or does anyone else think that it is weird that the black astromech uses the old-style head-printing? It's only on half the dome, not the entire thing like recent ones have been. Maybe it's just a fluke in the pictures, but without any other reference, I'd say it's the old astromech from the old Imperial Star Destroyer...

Just found this trailer for the Lego POTC video game which shows some good shots of Flying Dutchman and Black Pearl possibilities. Now, as this is the game, it's probably not the same as the Lego, but it gives you an idea. Enjoy! Link!

    REVIEW: 4183 The Mill

Thanks so much for this great review of a fabulous set. I really hope to get this soon. It is a Lego representation of one of the best scenes from The Dead Man's Chest. Wheel action looks interesting and the bell feature looks cool although I believe it's will that uses it in the movie (Lego.com uses Jack). I really don't get why Hadras has printing on the back of his head, as it's covered...

Oops, it might be. Here, I'll fix that! Here ya go: Link! Hope it works!

May the Forth Be With You 2011

No, it's actually a poster featuring "10 years of Ultimate Lego Star Wars sets" (quote from the info link in my previous post). So I expect to see all or most of the biggest, baddest, and most significant sets in the past 10 years.

Just read the fine print of THIS article thingy (description of the sale) and it appears that to qualify for the UCS Falcon raffle, you DO NOT need to purchase anything. However, if you do purchase an item you are automatically entered. To enter without buying you must send in a form or something. Also, the other offers are not available in Legoland parks or discovery centers. (read the fine print for further elaboration) Hope this helps!

I just found some more info from Toys N Bricks and figured I'd post it here as well. I apologize if it's already been posted, but to my knowledge, it hasn't been. Quote from Toys N Bricks:

Just checked, and for those who were wondering, the more views/zoom/360 spin are fixed. Also, "Zombie Pirates" has been changed back to "Captain's Cabin". Make up your mind Lego! I'm curious if any sets were produced with the Zombie title, or if it was just a fluke. (though all box-art that we've seen so far has been for the "Captain's Cabin", so...)

POTC sets available on Shop@Home! (at least in the USA, haven't checked other countries yet...) On another note, the "Captain's Cabin" set has been renamed "Zombie Pirates". (at least, that's what it says online...)

Jack is holding a sword and a bottle. That's another thing this polybag is good for. Cheap bottles!

Well, I guess that answers that question... The set looks great. It's unfortunate that it doesn't include Boba, as that means that they want you to get both sets (and therefore have two Bossks...). Hopefully Dengar has been upgraded, his last print was OK, but he needs a new face (as his last was a plain ol' smiley!). Sadly, I feel that this will cost too much to fit my budget, what with all the amazing sets from this and other themes coming out this year. Still, can't wait for clearer pictures! Thanks for the pic whung!

Just found the calendar pics on Toys n Bricks' Flickr, they're much bigger and confirm the April 16th release date for the POTC sets Front Back

    Single Pane Star Wars Funnies

I love the Twilight one! Great Job. Just noticed that in your pic, Sugi and Embo's legs are switched. (Sugi has Embo's and Embo has Sugi's) I don't know if you did that on purpose, but I thought that I'd point it out.

Actually, the cards and codes are only in On Stranger Tides products. The posters, however, come with every set regardless of it's movie origin. Quote from the Lego Pirates Website:
  18. Commentaries are up on StarWars.com! The Wookiee Hunt one explains the controversy over using Sugi's ship. Filoni does not, however, explain how the ship was changed, only that it was.

As I said above, the calendar says April 16th (though it could be the 18th as it's hard to tell).

Now I don't keep up with this thread completely, so I apologize if this is old news, but I could swear that these sets were coming out in May, yet on the May 2011 calendar pics recently posted they list the release date as April 16 (could be 18, it's hard to tell) for POTC, Alien Conquest and Lego City on May 10th, and Cars on May 16/18 (again hard to tell). Again, I'm sorry if this is old news, but I was under the impression that the sets were to come out in May alongside the fourth movie (May 20th).
  21. I was watching Wookiee Hunt and something about the Halo struck me as odd. First I thought that it was just the fact that they used it in the episode, but then I happened to see the Lego Halo online (I don't own it sadly). So I looked on StarWars.com for pictures from the recent episode of the Halo. Comparing them, I thought "Wow, Lego can't be that off can it?". So then I referenced images from "Bounty Hunters" and noticed that in it's brief appearance, it had a small cockpit (which looked much closer to the Lego version which was modeled after it). The 2nd version looks more like a dropship to me. Does Sugi have two ships that are almost identical? Or, did she make modifications to the original version? All three variations provided for reference in the spoiler:

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 4 Discussion

Video Updated on StarWars.com! It's much clearer. No, it's an Gungan officer. It appears to be the one from TPM, but that may just be in because of his outfit or design. But yes, a circle of Gungans watching a Gungan fight Greivous. The Mon Calamari battle looks cool. Clones diving out of gunships, Ahsoka underwater, etc. Looks like the official introduction of the phase 2 clones (no longer just for ARC troopers) is coming in season 4. All of the clones behind Plo are phase 2 and the pilot in the ship that gets blown up by the new (weird shaped) ship is also new. Padme's got a new outfit which is similar (it appears) to the one she wore in PTM during the assault on Theed Palace. She also gets a similar hairstyle. We see the return on Jessie from "the Deserter" as part of Rex's squad (Rex appears to have an ARC trooper pauldron) along with Fives. What's with the yellow MagnaGaurd staves? Aren't they, and haven't they always been, purple? Am I missing something? Or am I just forgetting something obvious... This looks to be a promising season!
  23. I too thought it odd that the Wookiees happened to have Sugi nearby (possibly for hire), but it was nice to see her back again as she's a decent character. StarWars.com has confirmed that Tarfful in the episode, as well as an updated Plo. All in all, this was a pretty good season finale. Did anyone else wonder why they had to cut scenes where the 2nd group of adult captives who got killed further in were banding together to survive, but were able to include several scenes of those canary looking birds and the lizard? I thought that those birds were kind of distracting from the solemn mood of the story. Excited for Season 4 and Mon Calamaris!

LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars

GRRRR! I had tried some of that kind of thing. "HANSHOTFIRST" "WHOSHOTFIRST" "GREEDOSHOTFIRST" but I guess I missed the most obvious one. Thanks for the tip! Now onto Jabba.

    Blog Banners Vote

Though I'd be okay with any (they're all amazing!), I really enjoy the simplicity and pure original Star-Warsy-ness of Brickthing's banner. The only thing it lacks is a representation of PT etc. But I think it still is the cleanest and purest Lego star wars banner. I really like the idea of a rotating banner. That, each month/week/day etc., they would change. This way all or most would be used.
