LEGO Star Wars' idea of a meme is re-releasing Jedi Bob LEGO DC's idea of a meme is releasing new sets -
I know this is all a bit of light-hearted tomfoolery, but let's not act too hasty now... We don't need to bring him into this thread I think that link is a bit of a stretch, but without any new MCU films (with the one exception BrickBob's looking forward to), we don't know what the rest of the year looks like, especially not now with a Star Wars wave of memes. So it's not impossible but don't take that to mean it's guaranteed

Buildable Spider Man figure with pointing feature, includes 67' Spider Man (buy 2 to recreate the scene)
-
Now that Echo's out, I have more appreciation for the figure as we've seen her costume. Especially the detailing on her prosthetic leg, a great touch The one thing the figure didn't get right, is the symbol on her right arm is wrong
-
i don't get why XIX is called Tiger when XXVIII (Jack) is orange and black Midas is obviously a great shout, they should've made that suit for a promotional 10 years set, like how Harry Potter and Ninjago had their respective gold figures
-
Fun way to get the thread talking, which suit/s (other than the Mark 4) that we've never had in LEGO would people want to see the most? I'd love to see the Mark XX (Python), for the black/gold colour scheme and Mark XXXV (Red Snapper) as its the chunkiest armour in the classic Iron Man red/gold
-
Maybe they've done a reverse Henry Cavill and CGI-ed it on

I would hope it's the new mold with a moveable head, for LEGO to go back to the old days of big characters needing to turn their whole body like Michael Keaton's Batman would be a massive backstep I hope Rulk's design in the film is close to the old figure, and not like his recent look in the comics where he retains Ross' grey hair and moustache Don't want to get involved in the political Sabra debate, I wouldn't mind her being replaced with a different character (obviously meaning GIVE US LEADER!), but that's really just due to the obscurer nature of the character. If she stays in the film, she isn't going to be anything like her comic counterpart, and to think she would be is ridiculous. Since when has the MCU adapted anything from the comics 1:1 without changing anything? On a somewhat related note, Secret Invasion did need to reshoot some scenes to avoid parallels to the Russia/Ukraine stuff https://www.giantfreakinrobot.com/ent/secret-invasion-reshoot-russia-ukraine-war.html Ironic Due to not having the money in 2014 that I have now, I bought the older X-Jet without Wolverine, Storm, Magneto or Sentinel from eBay, then spent the following years regretting my decisions as I couldn't find the figures for cheaper than £20 each, other than Magneto (still to this day don't own those versions of Wolvie & Storm, or the Sentinel)

Day 8 of potential What If set ideas to fill the void of MCU movie sets Based on episode 9 As it's the finale, this one has a little more spoiler to it in terms of characters, so don't open your final present unless you don't care, or have watched the episode
-
It's on his most recent unpinned post (December 11th)

That would be a good guess. I'd love to see Strucker's lab adapted more than it was last time Hoping to see an updated Hawkeye amongst these potential AoU Legacy sets, especially as he had a more sizable role than in the first film That Gamora does look amazing, but she only appeared in the one episode (not counting the actual episode this season, she was wearing her Vol. 1 outfit), meanwhile Strange Supreme had a much bigger role, and his episode may well have been the best What If episode even to date The fans of What If (as little as we seem on this thread) always point out DSS or Infinite Ultron were big omissions from the series, but if Gamora was never included in the first place, I doubt many would feel the same sentiment As for Ms Marvel & Zemo, we don't know when Zemo will pop up next (and even if we did, we don't know if it guarantees he'd be important enough to make it to a set), and we don't know if MM will wear her first (and more superior) suit again, so I remain hopeful, but it's easy to think about what we could've already had

Day 1602 of potential What If set ideas to fill the void of MCU movie sets Based on episode 8 I'll definitely be in the minority here, but the designs in this episode were really fun, and I would love to see them in LEGO. We've already had jets, spaceships and robots from this theme, but giving the characters a medieval setting gives us something fresh, even if it's based on a half hour cartoon episode Let's not forget Monica, she was definitely the most pointless figure in that series I would've traded Monica, Gamora and Spider Man for Agatha, Zemo and Strange Supreme, then in S2 trade Agatha for Ms Marvel

Day 6 of potential What If set ideas to fill the void of MCU movie sets Based on episode 7 Yes I skipped yesterday, can't see LEGO adapting Spanish colonizers, and my only idea would've been a Tesseract tree. Also Kahhori will be featured later. I'm sure I'll make up for missing a day tomorrow, I'll have anywhere between 02 or 16 sets
-
Pretty much this, I know none of these will happen, except for maybe the ones involving mechs, but between 2 sets and 5 CMF slots, What If S1 was well covered, even if some characters were missing, and so far we only have Goliath from S2 So I'm just going through each episode envisioning sets that involve some of the characters this forum have been wanting for years in ways that don't require a repeat of a set made almost 10 years ago. Some characters I've included wouldn't make it into Legacy sets anyway (as example Howard or T'Chaka) Found this on Instagram, so people looking to upgrade Cyclops with the dual blue/yellow legs & yellow hips, here's the result https://www.instagram.com/p/C1VAhuypj--/?igsh=MWZvaHJmYnVnM201MA==

Day 5 of potential What If set ideas to fill the void of MCU movie sets Based on episode 5
-
Day 4 of potential What If set ideas to fill the void of MCU movie sets Based on episode 4 Tony Stark's Sakaaran Hulkbuster Figures could be Tony Stark, Valkyrie and... maybe someone else. Could throw the Watcher in here, it is his show after all Gamora looked cool, maybe a figure of her somewhere else to complement the episode
-
Both Peter and Miles were released as exclusive figures from Comic Con and a Sony giveaway respectively, plus depending on who you ask, the 2021-present Doc Ock figure is apparently based on the game (I wouldn't say that, they look nothing alike). But no actual sets for the games
-
Not sure if I could see it, it's just one episode, and a whole year (or at least 9 months) away. It was a good episode though, and of course I'd like them to do stuff for it, hence my daily reminders that this show is an underrated goldmine that LEGO needs to investe in pickaxes for My predictions for the next advent calendar though, would either be Spider Man/Venom or X-Men 97 based (depending on how many sets we get throughout the year)
-
Day 3 of potential What If set ideas to fill the void of MCU movie sets Based on episode 3 Also Merry Brickmas to all who celebrate
-
Day 2 of potential What If set ideas to fill the void of MCU movie sets Based on episode 2
-
Day 1 of potential What If set ideas to fill the void of MCU movie sets Based on episode 1

Hoping next time we get Goblinized Venom and Octopusized Electro (Amazing Friends Electro with the MCU lightning bolts on her back)

Real world update: Jonathan Majors has been found guilty of assault and harassment, and has been dropped by Disney from all upcoming content Meaning for the LEGO Marvel community, we will likely now have to wait even longer before we get a Kang figure, unless Marvel decides to scrap the character completely (personally recasting should be the go-to move here) I really wish we could just get some proper Avengers comic sets, with actual supervillains not plastered with henchmen or alien footsoldiers, though I am happy for the X-Men to be front and centre for the time being

For a moment I thought this was referring to the Warbird set, and it's just a sad reality that for that moment I just accepted that little set could genuinely cost $60
