I searched for Heroes and didn't find anything about it, so I'm sorry if there's a thread about this already but I feel it warrants a new one! Is anybody keeping up with Heroes? For those in the UK it's showing on Sci-Fi multiple times per week, I think they've restarted so you may be able to catch it from the start. In the US it's on episode 20. Heroes is in my opinion the best thing on TV this year, beating everything hands down. The basic story revolves around ordinary people, who through various means come to the realisation that they have special powers. From bending time and space, to reading minds, becoming invisible, to even flying, these people have to deal with what's happening with them as well as stop an impending doom. It's really suspenseful, each episode seamlessly integrating into the next, and EVERY episode makes you want more. Each episode also tells it's story in a different style so it never gets dull. For the skeptics, although the content may seem like it's out of a comic book, it is completely different. For example I am not a comic book fan. If anyone wants to see what its about I encourage (No, EMPLORE!) you to see the first two or three episodes. The more people see it the more chance there is of there being more seasons of it! PS: Episode 20 is the best so far. My hands are literally shaking waiting for the next episode.

Yes yes yes yes yes! I've been waiting for this, more buildings to add onto Cafe Corner! One question I have though is why this is in the Factory range rather than Creator like Cafe Corner. This also cant be the building that the designer of Cafe Corner was talking about that was coming soon, as it's not made by him. But I digress. I could care less. More modular buildings! Im not generally a space person, but I really want two of those sets. Firstly, 7692 reminds me of the Orca gunships from C&C, which is one of my favourie aircraft designs ever. I really like the design of this model. Secondly, 7699 is just awesome. I don't really care for the rest, or the enemy ships.

Mainly it's due to broken ankle after a snowboarding lesson, and a pub crawl the same evening (Right after being discharged from hospital). Moving between pubs was a bit challenging for me, so every so often my friends would say "Come on Hobbles!". This progressed into Mr Hobbles. :-)

For animated GIF's I personally use a freeware program called UnFreeZ. It's a really simple program. All you do is create all the frames of your animation as normal GIF's, drag them into the program, and set the time between each frame. And you're done! :-)

It's a very nice set! I love almost everything, except the forklift truck, hopper wagon, and of course the IR system. It's the reason I went with 4512 as my first train instead of this. But I might consider buying this in the future and keeping it IR, just to mess around with.

It is such a terrible tragedy. And unfortunately the it'll be harder for the authorities to assign motive as apparently the killer was found dead too.

Welcome to EB, I hope you enjoy your stay! As someone who just recently came out of the dark ages himself, I feel for both you and your wallet! A good place to keep track of what you have and what you want is Brickset, it will help you manage your collection and your wallet!

In short: RC trains will run on 9v track but 9v will NOT run on RC track. Out of what you mentioned, everything can be used on an RC layout, but only unmotorised. If you wanted to run the rest of the trains with motors, you will need to replace all your track with 9v track and buy a speed regulator.

I definently like the return to the Castle sets, it's like a blast from the past. Back to the origins. I also agree that a return to Adventurers might not be bad, but they'd need to find a new subtheme for it. We've had Egypt and Jungle, and now we need a new original one. I don't think it would work if it was simple a remake of Egypt or Jungle.
