Marvel Superheroes 2016 Rumors And Discussion
KlodsBrik replied to Quicksilver's topic in LEGO Licensed
Ahhh .... That makes sense unfortunately. So when making a hard mold, these "organic" textures aren't possible with ABS. Im curious as to why it have been molded this way? -

Haha .. I thought it was a printed piece ... Having a sticker is even worse .... Then one could actually attach it to an avatars head. But its so familiar as with the series 4 "mad scientist" ( I think ) .... Im pretty sure they could have made it an removal part, and im surely sad they didnt .... I could think up several scenarios where this piece would be usefull. -

At some point some user here is gonna get mad at a moderator for doing their job. Make up their avatar fig and have this piece upon its ABS head, then getting banned. Now im a fortune teller as well. Im actually surprised as well .... But thats only great .... Knowing that people aren't gonna use this piece untill a really great idea for its usage comes up. So offtopic. Sorry . -
Interesting question.. Besides that, "AFOMB´s" unfortunaltely sounds awesome ! Here in Denmark Ive never came across any MB or COBI in any toystores .... However Ive had some pieces here and there when i bought bags of "LEGO" from markets or on online danish sites. So they must be around here as well. ( Well only got some cobi pieces, never megablocks ). I know this doesnt answer your question, but im curious as well. And I just wanted to share how spread these copy brands are here in Denmark afaik,.

I dont think its legit to assume that. LEGO just released a set with a tile printed with the word "dick" on it. That's even "worse" than a flame headpiece imo. -
I love this as well as your chicken. Man, I wish i had time to build steampunk as well. But so many builds in progress and yet, even more ideas in my head. I totally love this ! So freaking awesome. An army of these for my Warhammer layout would be the coolest !

I would love to se this happen. Im not to sure about a release so soonish. However regarding LD, LEGO have been really good at keeping future releases a secret till the whole of the wave were finally published. So it could be.

Lets get those astronaut's up in the air !
KlodsBrik replied to KlodsBrik's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Ive just used whatever piece available for the background. 2x whatever available. but also 1x whatever. Its really brick consuming building these. Takes up more pieces than I thought it would to begin with. Ive even used slopes to get it to fit the height needed for the background since i ran out af a few colors . Looking forward for your halloween build ! Edit: Oh , its 64 studs high and 60 studs wide by the way. KlodsBrik -

Soonish, a Cargo lokomotive will join the struggle to bring the shuttle up into the sky from whatever place on earth it need's to take off from ! -
Thanks. No its not, from what the pictures suggest what pieces are included. They looks mostly useful, and quite a bit of rare pieces as well. I think this is gonna be yet another LEGO bestseller. ( Tan baby's all over the place! )

Finally. And this looks even more awesome than the picture I saw leaked. That picture was of quite poor quality still .... Actually so much that it makes me wonder if it was just an early WIP of this. But glad to see this finally in good resolution. Looks awesome ! BTW, anyone knows what's the price is gonna be. Did I miss out on that ?

Many times I wonder how and why their aint any great deals like those in Denmark. We are lucky if we see 25% off ... A funpack here costs what´s equal to around 20-25$. Whenever we come across a "great" deal like 50%, Its due to the fact that a theme is about to "die" or is getting older than a year. I know that LEGO costs about 50% more here in DK , but even that doesn't justify those great deals you can get "over there". I envy you a lot. I would love to get an whole army of cybermen also !

[MOC] Henry Residence (our dream house)
KlodsBrik replied to Regenerate builder's topic in LEGO Town
Beutifull build. Really reminds me of some houses that were around a sommer vacation I went on every year as a child. Great MOC for sure ! -
Robert8 .. That lifesaver guy made me spit coffee over my keyboard laughing Great job with those indeed

Thanks. Coming from you I must be doing something right .. Thanks a lot ... The set just screamed to be modified, and to be honest, its probably one of the set's Ive enjoyed to modify the most. And its still an ongoing process. 60052 is just a lovely train beginners box. Then again, Iv'e never had anything else. I had to do something with the cow ... Almost done with my first train MOC which turned into a somewhat bizare experience. But I learned a lot from it. Hope I get it finished this weekend: I should have known to begin with that trying to fit a 8 stud wide "snot" rocket onto a 6 stud wide base would cause me all kinds of trouble. Im not pleased with the result so far. But Im not disliking it neither. KlodsBrik.

After i got the 60052 set, and had my review up, I went on a building rampage. Just as in the good old days when I first got back into LEGO, I just putted brick's together not overthinking things. Im pleased with the result, though I will probably change a lot of stuff with it as I usually end up doing. This is my impression of how the Cargo Train station could look ( offcourse adding a tonof bricks to it ). Now, everything is plated up, preparing the whole of the build ( and what is to come ) to be placed on baseplates for a larger layout. Im not to satisfied with the pictures but had my lightroom removed before I viewed them. Will probably take some new shots during the weekend. Hope you like it though. Click for larger image. I already felt that this set screamed to be modified. Bricks n bolts then posted a picture of a mod ( moc ) he made himself, that inspired me a lot. And this is the outcome. Click for larger image. Only MOD of the 60052 set I've finished so far besides the cargo train station itself is the forklift. As i want my Maersk 1651 set to go with this, Iv'e made it these colors offcourse. Now, the forklift its not as functionel as the original one from 60052, but I personally like this better . I build more for show than for functionality. Track end buffer inspired py the post in this forum. Im quite pleased with how it turned out. And dammit, I forgot to include a Doctor Who reference, which is always do with my MOC's. Then again I was in a hurry if I were to get the pictures taken. Wont forget them in the next photo session. Let's get those astronauts up in the air ! Im feeling that my first train and the corresponding wagons will have to be a transport for my TLG shuttle. Build In Progress as I write this. Please do comment and ask questions if any. All feedback is always welcome. KlodsBrik.

I love how this looks. Im sure it would look really pretty in real bricks on a hillside diorama. Well done !
-
It is. Cm4Sci posted them here, on page 10. Though on second look the picture of her ain't that good as I recalled. The best picture is on page one of this post. Looking forward to seeing these set's in real life. There is probably gonna be a few of the set's I will need to purchase.

Youve captured its organic form very well, and it has turned out to be a very beutifull build. Gorgeous for sure !

Build for the LEGO Dimensions toypad and all the sets. WIP
KlodsBrik replied to KlodsBrik's topic in LEGO Licensed
Thanks both of you. Im still building on this. Just haven't had time to put all my energy into this. As many others I tend to start on to many project's at a time. With the last wave coming out here in DK in three days, I will start to focus on this build again. -
Build for the LEGO Dimensions toypad and all the sets. WIP
KlodsBrik posted a topic in LEGO Licensed
An admin or moderator deleted my account by accident, and with it went a lot of post and topics of mine. Also since the former topic with this content was named "[MOC/MOD] Dimensions toypad extension everlasting WIP" i suspect that it might have sounded a little to much like those spam posts that show up here on EB now and then, suggesting you should buy "brick enhancing products", so i renamed it As i wrote in my deleted topic, i wanted this to be an everlasting expansion of the Dimensions theme since it will run for at least 3 years. I thought of making it modular, but i dropped that idea since all walls would be two studs thick and it have to be handled by a 5year old also. I also wanted it to be as small as possible but yet being easily recognisable where each minifig should go, and offcourse make it look as good as im capable of. Enjoy. Here we go. In my last post i left of with this: This is what it has come to look like now: Simpsons level pack, and it will also have space for Bart or Crusty when they are released. Its still a WIP, im in doubt of how tall the Simpson car is, and need to know that to make it fit in the 2 stud deep garage, before finishing the build. I would really like to make the house 1 stud less high, since its to me almost to big a floor. Doctor Who level pack, and it will have space to hold the Cyberman and Dalek when its released. The TARDIS should be able to fit in the "gate", to make the illusion of "its bigger on the inside". Offcourse the bone is for K-9, i will place the cyberman "inside" the TARDIS to kinda represent "handles" and the Dalek will have to fit next between the TARDIS and K-9. The floor isnt completely done as i want to have some leaves on the tree, but i need the pack first to know how much room i have for it. Back to the future level pack, and it will also have room to hold both Doc Brown and the travelling time machine when that fun pack is released. Wizards of Ozz funpack. They got a lot more room than most of the other minifigs, so i had a chance to represent both the yellow brick road and emerald city, so both Wicked witch and Flying monkey wont have to stay to close to each other all the time, so luckily no romance here. Portal 2 level pack, with minifigs. The rest are very much still WIP´s. Ghostbusters level, this will consist of two platforms so to speak, still not sure if i like the layout so far. This is for the Legolas funpack, its pretty much just a quick tablescrap to make it look elvish, since i needed it mounted to hold the upper level for the ghostbuster floor. So this will definately change a whole lot if not totally. The portal itself: Still a work in progress. Also to the left, i will make Cloud Cukoo land to hold Unikitty, Wildstyle, Benny and maybe even Emmet and Gandalf, but im still a bit loose on this, and also this will be a bit different style than the other "boxed" builds. Im just not sure how i will make it yet, so for now its just two lumps of cluttered white bricks. I will need to take new pictures of the Aquaman floor and the Batman floor since they were basically unusable, but that will come with time. Now i just cant wait for it to be the 2nd of November so i can go and spend what i can afford that month to fill a lot of the floors still empty. I hope you like it, and that it will enspire you to make your own Toypad extension, im really hoping to se a lot of these "mini builds" to represent the whole of the LEGO Dimensions universe. And please do comment and ask questions, if any. KlodsBrik -
Thanks ... It was so much fun making.

As im in the process of cleaning up all of MOC´s that i have staying around to prepare for finishing my Hanging gardens of Babylon, im kind of rushing through my shelves. So much have been staying around for so long with no progress going on. Also just to get a new start after my Dark age. Some are going straight to the trashbin, some i feel is ok to post. This was yet another that i felt was good enough to post, i would have done so much more to it. Change the clouds underneath, a lot of stuff i felt needed changed on the spaceship and the minifigs as well. However this along with so many others have been hanging around for over a year and i never got the inspiration to finish it. So just to get a fresh start being able to only focus on my Hanging gardens of Babylon, i just want to get rid of everything else. So this was wrapped up rather quickly as you will probably notice some holes and gaps around the build. However i felt it was fun enough to post. I will let the moderators decide wether its in the right forum as its sort of all over the place. All feedback is welcome as usual. KlodsBrik.
