DC Superheroes 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion

Swoon! This might end up being my favorite CMF series ever, I think. And we've only seen half of it! Now, just give me Saturn Girl and Doctor Fate. They can hang on to Red Tornado for Series 2, if they need. I'll also second the desire for an OG Raven figure. I'd bet $50 that we're going to get a first appearance-style Superman. It's too perfect a paring to ignore. Again, I know nothing about the CMF that others don't already know. And I was also unaware of the mini-Keatonmobile. Looks amazing though! Great year for DC in LEGO!

DC Superheroes 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion

RE: DC CMF Doctor Fate and Red Tornado, yes, please, and thank you! As a huge comic nerd for most of my life, there aren't many characters I don't know, obscure or not, and I'm down for most of them! My only concern: SATURN GIRL, OR WE RIOT. I don't even CARE about the Legion, but to have two of the three founders, and not finish that particular trifecta? This is the perfect opportunity. DO IT. OR ELSE. (disclaimer: I don't know anything particular about the CMF series other than what's leaked)
  3. Ah, yes, my bad! I reread what I typed a number of times to try and ensure it couldn't be taken seriously, and then a close, personal friend immediately did exactly that! 'Twas only a joke, @x105Black! As always, @williejm gets it. Sorry for any confusion, all!
  4. My sources tell me that the upcoming Disney D2C will again be priced at $350. And it's just going to be a Goofy and Pluto minifigure two-pack. No build. You're welcome.
  5. It's all artistic license in the rendered art, and you can see it all over the place. Feet that don't line up along the same plane; the extreme bend in one of Dorothy's arm and the extension of the other; the tilting of heads; bent knees; etc. The only plausible question is the presence of medium-sized legs. And even then, the Giraffe Guy's legs seem about the same size as the ones for President Business.

You should try calling your local LEGO store tomorrow....wink.

Future DC Super Heroes Rumors & Speculation

I'd much rather the traditional crouched cat, painted like Dex-starr. Dex-starr is the cat.....right?

Too big, I'd wager. (BTW, I LOVE your Springfield Architecture set!)

    LEGO Minifigures licensed series

Way late to the party, and not what I came here for at all, but I saw this and I had to say: "I hit him with a rock!" Brilliant!

    Harry Potter 2018 - Rumors & Discussion

The way they're releasing these, we will soon have enough parts to mix and match and make whichever version of whichever character you want. As long as they're students. Doesn't seem to much matter which film, scene, etc each fig is "from". (I totally understand having that conversation, just pointing out the bright side.)

Prrrrrobably not something you should mention on an adult forum. Aside from punctuation, you seem fine, though. Just keep that on the DL.

Future DC Super Heroes Rumors & Speculation

You don't have to leave, just be a bit more conscientious. We're all DC fans here. Just this year brought my favorite DC character yet: Firestorm! Sure, he's no Woozy Winks, but that's still a pretty deep cut for a brand that keeps churning out Batman. Personally, I'd love any and all DC characters, cuz that's my jam. Atrocitus? Hell yeah! Ma Hunkel? Alright! Woozy Winks? FINALLY! But repeating the same point ad infinitum does nothing but annoy your peers. We totally understand how you feel, but you have to try to understand how WE feel. Cheers, mate. And for the record, my most desired GL figure would be 90's-era crab-shaped-mask Kyle Rayner. That dude is an artist, you could give him literally ANY type of construction and it would make sense, as long as it looked cool. GL corps really do just beg to be made into creator-style 3-in-1 sets. (But I want Dr. Fate more than ANYTHING.)

Future DC Super Heroes Rumors & Speculation

He thinks I'm a LEGO designer and has now started PMing me about how much he wants Green Lantern sets. As if I couldn't tell from 99.9% of his posts. It's getting beyond tiresome and crossed the line into invasive. This is supposed to be a forum for adults and that is not adult behavior.

Which is why I'm conflicted about a possible MCU Mysterio. I just reeeaaaaally want a comic-based Mysterio!

Not sure if this has been brought up, but I would not be shocked in the slightest if the hypothetical second AM&W set is a Brickheadz two-pack.

Marvel Superheroes 2018 - Set Discussion

My point was, it's all individual taste. I copied someone's sentence, but replaced "Ninjago" with "history". The original quote was "Ninjago is terrible and should have ended years ago." The writer then went on to talk about history and how interesting he found it to be. But I find history boring. I don't care about historical accuracy. It's all good, though. I was just trying to point out that hey, they're all just opinions. Or maybe better. If you're going to allow for maybes, in direct contradiction to your previous sentence, at least be fair about it. Sheesh.
  23. Indeed. And TLNM didn't do as well as either. It's a worrying trend. However, I do believe that TLM2 will do better than TLNM, at the very least. Chris Pratt becomes more bankable every day, it seems, and the first one was much beloved.
