Future Marvel Superheroes Rumors & Speculation
LEGODalekbuster523 replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
I really hope we get the Baxter Building. I'd love that as a LEGO set. -
It HAS to happen for this game, otherwise the LEGO Marvel games will lose a lot of fans.

LEGO Dimensions Discussion
LEGODalekbuster523 replied to TheBrickPal's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
Series 11 would be the perfect time for a full-blown range though. The first female Doctor is global news, and the first episode at least will be watched by a much bigger worldwide audience than usual because of 'The landmark factor'. If a LEGO Doctor Who theme is ever going to happen, it's next year. 2018 is make or break for LEGO Doctor Who's future. The only other significant landmarks would be the 60th anniversary special in 2023 and whenever there's a black Doctor. -

Leniency has nothing to do with it. The show's for families, not adults. -

I never saw many Doctor Who, Ghostbusters or Back to the Future packs anywhere. The only franchise they brought back from Year One - Ghostbusters (technically, even if it is 2016 Ghostbusters) - must have been their most successful Year Two also, as I rarely saw the 2016 Story Pack in shops. That's an interesting article, and makes a LEGO Doctor Who range timed for Series 11 seem likely. -

The DVDs are rated PG. The Simpsons Movie is a PG. It is a family sitcom. I watched The Simpsons at age 10 with my brother. 11 years on Channel 4 still show Simpsons repeats at 6pm. -

If the game had been losing money, then it's their own fault for not releasing more packs for the Year One franchises. -

The Simpsons is a family animated sitcom, it's not an adult show... -

A stupid decision if there ever was one. LEGO and WB are going to regret the amount of money this will lose them. LEGO Doctor Who absolutely needs to happen. The show is literally the perfect fit for the LEGO videogame format, and it would therefore be crazy for LEGO and WB Games to never make a game like this. If I were LEGO, I would be releasing a full range of sets to tie-in with Series 11 next year and a videogame with as many of the surviving Doctors and companions they can afford, plus Nicholas Briggs to voice whichever enemies would be included. It would also provide the biggest character roster in any LEGO game ever. Ghostbusters would be fun, but those of us who have the Story Pack would basically just be partly buying levels we already have. Same with Fantastic Beasts, and The LEGO Batman Movie (although I personally don't have that SP). Sonic The Hedgehog would be a lot of fun. I loved the Level Pack for that. Back to the Future wouldn't have enough characters to form a roster, but playing through full LEGO versions of each film would be fun. The Simpsons is another I'd love to see, especially if it was based on already existing episodes rather than a new story. I'd love to play through Marge vs. The Monorail, or Itchy & Scratchy Land. Scooby-Doo doesn't really need to happen. The LEGO Dimensions levle in the style of the original 60s Hannah-Barbera cartoon was fun but I don't know if it could sustain a whole game. Plus it would have BTTF's character roster problem. -
Yeah, the character creator looks amazing. I can't wait to create Agent Coulson with Spider-Man's powers. Or even better: give him Captain America's SHIELD.

Guess that means there won't be a sequel to LEGO Marvel's The Avengers.

It wasn't what I wanted from a sequel at all. Should have been more like the Mario Kart follow-ups. -

I'd love to play as the MCU Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider. One of my favourite parts of Agents of SHIELD Season 4 was the Ghost Rider arc.

I wasn't a fan of LEGO Racers 2. It felt too different to the first game. -
The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part
LEGODalekbuster523 replied to Robert8's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
I expect the sequel will throw in a lot more IPs. Ghostbusters and The Simpsons perhaps - there was Milhouse's brief cameo in the first movie, maybe we might see a more extended one from Homer Simpson? -
The Lego Ninjago Movie (2017)

I'm sorry if my post broke the rules, but this is the first time I've mentioned it in ages. I assumed therefore that it would be fine and wouldn't come across as spammy. At the same time, I do think other posters need to appreciate that how a post comes across to me when I write it may be vastly different to how they view it. That's one of the downfalls of autism. -
