I used to think so previously until I had a duplicate when I bought a set of 16 for a friend and I had to cover for the 'damages' ... it wasn't a pleasant experience because I have to shell out more in order to buy the missing one and source it elsewhere. The seller could not provide replacement... so it's definitely not the easiest for me. Anyway, I am assembling a Mariachi band... usually how many are there in a band?

I really hope this is the case... but I am not sure if my preference will change after seeing the movie. :)

Unless he really wants those spies, that's a terrible shopping experience.... I hope he gets them traded to something else. There are quite a number of LEGO trading groups in my area so having duplicates do not bother me... Lately though I have been buying a box of 60 and I sell the 2 sets to someone I know -- I find this the easiest solution to complete a set without going through a long queue or ordering a set of 16 and then later finding out I got a dupe... Of course, this does not stop me from going for a stack of blind bags and feeling for those that I really want to collect armies.

Take note that I have to replace the legs of Zane and Lloyd because they don't have prints... I got it from my local LEGO certified store when I bought equivalent worth of 25 USD Ninjago products or more. I was tempted to get one from Bricklink too because it seems the Netherlands and Germany sellers only have this new Cole at the moment.... it's quite elusive so when the local store had this promotion, I didn't think twice.

I just got my stone army Cole. I love the print details! I just hoped they used Cole's new head with 2 faces.... but can't complain about it because it is so awesome.

I'm excited for Thrawn! Also, my hands are itching on getting those battle packs. I really hope we get the right distribution of the stormtroopers this time around without messing around with battle damage or unnecessary print details.

As others have mentioned, getting a 2nd hand entry-level DSLR camera will get the job done. If you're still on the fence which model to get you may search Google for "DPreview camera buying guide" since they have all the technical details to compare and make your well-educated decision. You don't really need a DSLR to get the job done...there are many smaller sensor cameras out there that can make amazing pictures out of camera without the need to edit them. DSLRs generally give you that "out of focus look" or blurred background (bokeh) and if you want everything in focus, you need to use aperture value F8 or even higher. For a beginner starting to use all manual controls and figure out how to do it, you need to be prepared for that learning curve -- but once you've learned it, it's going to be worthwhile.

Sounds like a downgrade if from Lava monsters they are going for rock elemental monsters... I mean lava monsters are already a hybrid of fire and rock elemental powers so I was really looking forward to sea creatures...

It would be disappointing if it is literally just a shadow... Right? :p

I know this guy who found the exclusive Cole minifig. It is the first time I also encounter such exclusive loot from solving a puzzle in Legoland hotel... I think it is just an early batch and we will still see this in other promotion.

Finally I will be able to complete the stone army armour! Except for Nya.... but oh well.. she was still Samurai X during the Battle for Ninjago City so... I guess the armour line up is complete?

I didn't have any impulse to buy any of the bigger sets of NEXO Knights yet... so far I only have the ultimates. I'm planning to buy the Volcano Lair but it's very low in my priority list that even if I miss it... I won't regret it.

The voice actor has Pakistani heritage, not Indian. I did listen to his Comedy Central standups and I can understand why they cast him as Jay. It is not far off from the show. I'm also excited with Jackie Chan casted as Wu... they could have casted any decent old actor but they opted with Asian actor which speaks volume for what they are going for.Also, Michael Peña as Kai... I think he may compete with Jay with the longest dialogues but I'm fine with it.

I agree... but I won't judge the movie by its voice actors... and even if it is different, having Jackie Chan in the cast list makes me respect WB and TLG not whitewash the cast. On the otherhand I checked out how the voice of Jay would sound like and it is not far off. I believe you it is the hair. :P yes, those hair though.... what's up with that gangster-inspired look??

I'm thinking about this too... I was about to plan on getting the whole thing... but now it's easier to get Chopper and BL Ashoka only.

I love this minifig. Going to grab lots of these when the books go on clearance.

I decided to get the Lighthouse first... See how my budget goes. I may buy some smaller sets like the Tumbler. Im in mobile now and I am tempted to play the video... But they have to wait until I get back home. I find it puzzling that both Nexo Knights and Ninjago are coming out at the same time in my region for 2H even if NK is just out for 3 months. I saw the NK sets in Singapore already and Samurai X is advertised as TRU exclusive in Malaysia.

Looks decent! Now if only TLG can come up with X-Wing pilots in polybags that's going to be more awesome.
