[Review] - 75131 Resistance Trooper Battle pack
Junior Shark replied to IGRION's topic in LEGO Star Wars
FYI, I've been to Britain. I was just shamelessly cashing in on British stereotypes. -

This looks totally awesome! I love how you try and make it look like an actual set. Those play features are top-notch (especially that Padme-smashing one ). I would absolutely buy this set. Inexplicable that Lego hasn't made something like this yet. Any chance of seeing this in physical brick? If you don't, I will! Lolz

Exactly! I can hear him now... "I say, old chap, ease up on the control stick you jammy dodger!" That head is easily one of the best to ever come out. -

This is definitely the battle pack I am most looking forward to. That new mustache head is to die for! -
Are you even reading what I'm posting? I never wanted to discuss the merits of the Star Wars galaxy's industrial design philosophy. I merely wanted to point out the quirkiness of the Lego model itself, being asymmetrical.

I think this should be moved to the General Questions thread.

(MOC) Allegiance-class Heavy Star Destroyer (EU-Dark Empire)
Junior Shark replied to Outworlder's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Oh wow! I feel like such an idiot! After perusing your Flickr, I discovered that you are also the one responsible for that Pellaeon-class I linked to in my first post! Am I embarrassed? Very. However, that only makes me respect you even more! Since I'm posting again, I'd like to point out your awesome use of smooth tiles and 1x1 plates w/clips on the edges. The bulkiness is the charm of it, though!- 32 replies

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
Junior Shark replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Hmmm... doesn't look like it, although I don't have experience building this set. It could truly be extra, or you missed putting it somewhere. As long as the model itself isn't compromised by the lack of this piece, right? If it falls apart suddenly you'll know what piece to blame it on. -
(MOC) Allegiance-class Heavy Star Destroyer (EU-Dark Empire)
Junior Shark replied to Outworlder's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Awesome! I love the Dark Empire comics! A lot of untapped potential there when it comes to Lego MOCs. Anyone can make an Imperial class, or SSD, but not everyone can make a left-of-center SD like you've done here! This reminds me of the Pellaeon-class that was posted back in 2013 (also very awesome). You've certainly captured the Allegiance class, and more importantly you've captured the feel of the Dark Empire comics. What is the look of the Dark Empire comics? Slightly blocky, pretty severe, and with 100% more greeblez. I think you've inspired me to re-read Dark Empire and MOC something up from there! Absolutely terrific! Also, wonderful Eclipse! Have you ever posted that here?- 32 replies

I think you still misunderstand. Of course I realize that the Imperial speeder bike has only one blaster mounted underneath the chassis. The Rebel speeder has the rear-facing stud shooter on the back, and another on the right side. Take another look at both of the pictures I linked here: You'll notice that the Rebel speeder has a stud shooter on it's right side, but not on it's left. That means it's strangely and inexplicably asymmetrical. Lego has always made it a point to have perfect symmetry when it comes to shooters, whether they be flick-fire, stud, or spring-loaded. I hope I've been able to finally clear up any confusion I may have caused!

The albums "LA Woman" by The Doors, "The Christmas Song" by Nat King Cole, and "The Big Come Up" by The Black Keys.

Right handed. I think I once heard somewhere that many people are right-handed because in old-timey days it was considered the "proper" hand to use. Sounds just crazy enough to be true. Any ideas?

LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors
Junior Shark replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
No prob, man. I've picked up lots of stuff on there, like UCS X-Wing windscreens, Slave I windscreens, 75082 TIE windscreens (OK, I have a little bit of a windscreen problem, OK?), Ultra Agents helmets, sand green pieces. -

Hey man, I'm in the US! Scroll down to the bottom of the Lego homepage, bottom left corner, under "Customer Service", "Replacement Parts". Go to "Buy Bricks". You have to input the set number you're looking for pieces from (Imperial Assault Carrier is 75106). The process can be a bit tedious, but it's definitely a nice way to get some unique pieces. -

[ LDD ] [ MOCS ] Endor Mini-scene, Mini Jedi Interceptor
Junior Shark replied to _Samibotss_'s topic in LEGO Star Wars
That Jedi interceptor is interesting, it almost looks like an official Microfighter set. The Endor speeder has a couple issues. First: where are the forward flaps on the steering vanes? Second: the speeder is more or less like my 2002 version. -
