Gen 1 Figures: Is it worth it to buy them?
Junior Shark replied to Anthony12901's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Subjective. Don't look it as G1 vs G2- they're all Bionicle sets, and some look cooler than others. It's just as worth it to buy a 2006 set as it is to buy a 2016 set, if you want it to be. This applies to the rest of the Lego world- great sets are great sets, and people are just as willing to cash out money for 10251 Brick Bank as they are for 928 Galaxy Explorer. Another perspective- there's only been one release of Brutaka, you should get him. -
Wut gunz is totally an element. Izn't it the Inikas' element?

Double post, but Toys R Us has all the 2015 sets on sale. There's some good deals, like dirt-cheap Protectors and $10 off Mask Maker vs. Skull Grinder.

Lego Architecture Slum city by Shannon Sproule
Junior Shark replied to Tech Artist's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I think it's pretty good, but I'm more partial to Sproule's minifigure-scale representation of Anlong Pi: Anlong Pi by Shannon Sproule, on Flickr -
Mmmm I like the potential SNOT applications of the design in the bottom-right corner.

That's pretty good, no matter the age! I think that's one of the wonderful aspects of CCBS- it's easier to come up with sweet-looking stuff.

+1 This is my biggest gripe with them. Definitely more than half of the ones I've gotten were bent out of the box.

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
Junior Shark replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The new Advanced takes the cake for me cuz of the new TIE cockpit dishes, which are miles better than the old BURP cockpit. -
[75134] Review: Galactic Empire Battle Pack
Junior Shark replied to duboismerci's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Because they're based on the Battlefront jetpacks, which are pretty different from the classic Fett-style ones:- 19 replies

Oh yeah! You've captured the whole scene very well, especially the lighting and mood.
