Welcome Makoy. How does moving about impact your hobby?

Welcome to the forum. The Creator line has / had some very big sets. There is also a rumored Ghostbusters HQ set coming out in January, with some 4000+ parts. As for the Technic sets, specially the flagship sets like the Mercedes-Benz Arocs, they have a big number of parts but probably half of them is connector pins ;-) But I would definitely give that Arocs a closer look if I where you. It's a fantastic set and great building experience. It will take you multiple nights. I think it took me some 10 or 12 hours, if not longer.

Welcome! I think you need to buy your kid a lot of Lego ;-)

So, I watched the Behind the Scenes video again and noticed, at around 1:26, a tan building with what looks like a shop window, rounded wooden door and a small tower / round room on the second floor. Maybe the Secret Marketplace?

Could this be the serie's swan song? CM4Sci, is it possible to tell how big these sets are? And the scale of the buildings (as compared to the already released ESB). And also, as the poster above asked, is there build up area in between the iconic buildings, or is it only the buildings? Thank you.

Thanks! That will be a long wait...

I bought a copy of this magazine, including the poly, off eBay. There are still a bunch for sale there.

When can we expect Lego to release the official images?
-
Yeah, appreciate the effort. Thanks! But from the descriptions and your drawings this doesn't appeal to me.
-
There is still an Elves 2016 thread
-
The descriptions sound exciting, thank you CM4Sci!

The set is now available for VIP members at S@H. Just ordered it

Is there something to say about when to expect these sets to be released, more particular the New York City set? Beside the ideas mentioned by CM4Sci (Times Square would be awesone) and Tom Alphin, how about Grand Central with the MetLife building, the Public Library with Bryant Park or maybe Bethesda Terrace and Fountain?

Welcome aboard HBVRaiden. Your LDD build looks great.

Hello Eurobricks! I joined a couple of days ago but I have been following these forums for some years now. I can't exactly remember what brought me back from the so-called dark age, but at some point I got interested in Lego again and was amazed by the evolution of Lego sets and by the MOC's people created. The first sets I bought since then where some Indiana Jones sets and Cafe Corner, the latter which I since then have sold (yes, I know...) When the Architecture series came about I really started to collect Lego sets, more specifically the New York City models, since... hey... New York City is the greatest city on Earth! My collection slowly grew, buying some Ideas sets as well. But I was really bitten when I saw the press release for the Temple of Airjitzu. What an amazing set. It was a day one purchase for me and it really threw me back into this hobby. A few days ago I also started building Technic models, finishing the 24 Hours Race Car last week (I love WEC and Le Mans) and currently am building the Arocs. I'm taking it really slowly, since I want to enjoy the build as being a mayor part of the hobby. My name by the way reflects my favorite number.
