And the flag appeared to be the quickest idea I ever had and realised : it took me only 5 minutes to think of it, build it and position it at the stern just before taking the photography... Meanwhile, the ship was gently waiting its last addition. Thank you ! A good advice ! You were right ! The masts are way better like this ! Well... erhm... I wouldn't want to lie but as the ship's heavily based upon the BSB, the main structure is a strait forward LEGO instruction book to follow and all my modifications finally took me very few time. I'd say it took me 7 to 10 complete days from concept to building (but I was on holidays and had only that ship in mind, at the great despair of my wife... ). I managed to skip the "terrible" rigging stage by limiting it at its minimal, and luckily, the sails only took me 1 day to scan, digitally recolour, print, and cut; but they are just paper sails. I'd like to have fabric sails now but would need my sister's help for that. So yes ! It's the fastest vessel I've ever built ! Thank you ! I was happy to make it the fastest I could ! I was happy to share with you the previews.

The 22 guns Frigate : The Applecid Felipe de la Manzana commands were top priority for the Elysabethtown shipyards. They achive in a time record a heavy Frigate for the Apple lord and baptised it the Applecid (an easy pun ) as it is a war ship made to kill (Cid...) and it's belonging to the Apple trade empire of Felipe... This ship will be licensed as a Class 6 Frigate. It is the fastest ship I ever made. That's why it's mainly built upon the new BSB style and plan just in order to spare me some headache in development and win me some time in building... And it's the best way to show my new green sails taken from the BSB red ones !

Haha yes the inspiration is clearly Yarrick ! I played W 40k Imperial Guard when I was young and now I can have it in LEGO !

Since it's an impressive ship I'd really like to see you build one in real bricks now ! Such an amazing Man of War would be awesome for real! Halas there are few huge vessels made in real bricks. We need more!

The Terraversa Crab Basket Part 1 : Oldis Retreats in Pamu After the defeat at King's port, Archduke Oldis managed to retreat to north of Terraversa and saved who he could among his men. They had to pass through difficulties Oleon succeed to install all through the island and unfortunately so few made it to Pamu. It is in this northern city Lady Condora and her men arrived with a group of green mercenaries from all the Eslandolan territory. They are freelance men and nothing official seemed to develop at the time. But the arrival of Oldis and his defeated troup made the greenies organized to help the wounded and starting building defenses. Lady Condora personally welcomed Oldis : - My poor friend ! She exclaimed. What a pity you didn't took head to the Oleonese Invader. I was hoping you held good in King's Port before I could send you reinforcements... But don't bother... Now, we will offer you rest and heal the wounded. We need to organise us now to raise acceptable defenses. This is my take in illustrating the Terraversan situation. I will make a little serie with the Terraversa Crab Basket logo and will develop on the events as long as I can. Lady Condora was initially sent to discuss and investigate with Oldis (with the assentiment of the Eslandola Colonial Council) but Oleon launched its attack so quickly I didn't had the time to develop on this story. So here goes the story as I'd like to develop it in the light of the last events. Oleon will have to deal with a better resistance now... Hope you'll like it !

The Terraversa Crab Basket Part 2 : Diner at Edwina's In case you've missed the first part of this story : Here it is. Felipe de la Manzana had to be involved in the Terraversa matters since he was back from his quest. The chase for the Golden Apple would wait ! Coordination and orders had to be given and there were only one man to do it in here in Elysabethtown : Felipe himself ! He was joined by Basil at Edwina's, the new tavern in town Edwina is a brave girl from the MAESTRO tradition ! She can cook an apple pie fastest than her shadow and is able to serve dozens of cider bocks without spilling a drop ! Felipe welcome Basil and invited him to sit : - Have you had a proper diner my friend ? No ? Come... Come... have a seat. - I am bringing you bad news Felipe said sadly Basil. Our friend the Archduke Oldis flew from Kings Port and is now retreating towards the north in Pamu. Lady Condora is over there helping the wounded but I am not sure they could hold a siege ! You have to intervene ! - Arrrh ! Yes ! You're right ! It is a difficult situation... Felipe paused and after a thought continued : - I will have to need all the support I can engage ! Basil ! Tell me ! Are our Ténotlaxcan friends ready to use firearms ? - Yes Felipe ! We taught them well ! They are ready ! But they don't want to wear our uniforms; they are arguing the best outfit for battle is their primitive one ! I don't understand why they are so stubborn on that ! - Don't argue with them ! We have no time for that ! Hire them with any outfit they want I don't care as they can raise fire weapons ! - Alright ! I'll hire them... And what about their special forces ? - Special forces ? asked Felipe intrigued. - Yes the special weapon Zumo de Kapaya showed you in Zum'heria... - Aaaaah ! Those special forces ! Yes ! Yes ! Bring them too ! And Basil left Felipe finishing his diner at Edwina's following the mysterious order of the mysterious apple leader... How the Ténotlaxcans could help ? And who are those special forces ? Let's hope the war in Terraversa will find an issue before it gets worse ! The tavern will be licensed in Elysabethtown as a large Commerce. hahaha ! It reminds me an episode of the Simpson show where Fat Tony is milking rats and Wiggum is outraged : "Tony ! How dare you... You promised me cat milk ! not Rat milk !" and then he destroys the milk supply... Excellent and really funny build !

Once again another gorgeous vessel from you ! I like the prow and the figurehead on top of it is funny ! You're on fire ! 2 class 6 vessels on a row ! Wow !

Excellent Frigate mate ! The hull is greatly rendered with enough curve and that rigging is the cherry on the top ! Funny I have a similar one incoming myself, but without blue colours... Great job !

Our Pirate comrade NOD built an excellent Brig of War based on the new Ship of the 21322 set Pirates of Barracuda Bay. Come on board of Paraiso and take part of the pillage with all its crew of dangerous bucaneers right now in the Pirates Forum !

@TheBeeze : Nice job so far ! Rules are short and clear. I have questions though : 1/ How will you follow the money flux there will be during all the game ? you'll need to use Google forms to register and automatised the BB gestion with an account sheet registering each character and his financial balance. Or any other formula ... 2/ As a team leader do I have to post a war form for any build or do I have to send a form per month to summarize all our movements as a team ? I don't understand well that part yet...

That's a nice bunch of dangerous guys (and gals) ! I love the way you've made each character a personnality by making them so different from one another.

I tracked down all the smiley faces in this MOC... (Crap... a smiley face is poping now !) Thanks to you two ! This dark pink is really nice to have carribean style houses. Dr Ayuda answered Guilder in no time : - I can confirm you the shipbuilding effort is rising right a the time we are talking. I just had confirmation that el Senor De la Manzana is personnaly involved now in Elysabethtown to train; form and recruit troops but also new vessels. He already managed to buy a new ship to replace the lost Messenger in no time ! Our MAESTRO shipyards in Elysabethtown are thriving ! They will probably benefit from a new expansion too...

The Messenger II After being lost in the last storm; The Messsenger had to be replaced quickly. That's why Felipe de La manzana named a new captain to obtain a new ship as soon as possible. The only vessel that could fit seemed to be the property of a shady character. A certain Captain Roger or Redbeard as he is known in the port... He surprisingly conceded the vessel for a good amount of doublons and the crew could board supplies and weaponry immediately. This is just a build to Sistership the Messenger lost in this last MRCA. Hope you'll like it.

Thanks ! The pier was for a bigger build I had for an event but halas ! There are no events anymore now... Thank you. I can find you a better prow view but I don't have one ready for now. I'll do one. Thanks ! Yes those are my custom sails ! BTW one of the jibs is my first custom (total handmade) the main sail is a way better one my sister printed with a professional machine. You can find my custom sails in nearly all my Eslandolan vessels and I am doing a new bunch of them for this week end as I am in real need for sails !

This vessel is really a nice MOC ! You chaged enough of the original BSB to claim it a MOC IMO ! I like how you added lenght and width without being out of proportions ! Great job all over !

Doctor Ayuda stood firmly out of his chair and added to the Viscount offer of assistance to the terraversan ships : - A Total and free of charge help has to be offered to our historical Democratic ally ! But I would go farer my dearest congressmen... Since Oleon is acting in plein seight; We, as a State; as a fierce defender of all Democratic Nations; as a Humanist Country; have to pronounce sanctions against Oleon ! I am proposing to : 1/ Close our ports to Oleon Vessels. And of course avoid the Oleonese ports with our fleets. Stopping the commercial exchanges with Oleon ! 2/ Blocade the Oleonese vessels actually in our ports : assign their crew in surveillance and Seize their goods. No Doublons for Trade should be distributed to the ennemies of the Democracy. 3/ Any Oleon vessel we seized will have to pay its license cost to get out freely of one of our port. 4/ The immediate seizure of all Oleonese properties installed in our sovereign soil ! 5/ A state of emergency if war is not the solution. 6/ A possible financial help to the ones who would like to develop the humanitarian bridge between our mercenaries in Pamu and the Terraversan refugiees. Lady Condora is already in Pamu to help the wounded from Kings Port battle. A hospital and some other structures are needed. She is already at work ! Don't let her down my friends ! Finally the Doctor heavily falls onto his armchair looking exhausted after such a difficult proposition.
