  1. Just hope they one time will make same PT sets but without clones, don't like them
  2. I bought the Cantina a couple of days ago, haven’t bought it yet, but my opinion of the minifigs is the following: 4/5 in selection of the figures out of what one should expert. Lego did better than what could have been expected but for 5/5 they should have added three more new cantina patrons. 3/5 in exekution. One or two armprintings, definitely more legprintings. Has lego ever released this many figures without legprintings before? I like all torsoprintings but think they could have introduced a few more new molded parts. My favourite is Ponda Baba, also liked Kardue'sai'Malloc and the recoulred tradoshan, but wished they recoloured the ithorian as well, new print for the jawa, better design for Evezan, bigger trunk for Garindan and a completely other solution for Kabe (molded head would have been the best).
  3. I don't understand any of this, if you don't mind can you explain? Ah now I think I got the previous comment as well. I don't know why people care about this more than just change the actor or the look, despite an alien is an alien, and animated is animated how can someone tell what Ahsoka would look like if she was real on this planet. So considering the characters are from SW universe I think it's very weird to translate the characters into white, black and asian, especially since thats even wierd to do outside US (where else in the world you count dark skinned people with the origin in the african continents as black instead of africans, none of these colour make sense in reality) atleast to be consistent it should be white, black and yellow.
  4. Well then maybe we can rid of this old and exhaused cliché of AFOLs are not a big marked for LEGO as an excuse to counter criticize those tired of constantly repeated sets.
  5. After all talk about 501st this year, I cannot help not to share this: I somehow assume that there are not too many hiphop heads among lego fans, but I might be wrong, lets see if someone else like this.
  6. A SW boxing ring would be a nice set!
  7. Well I don't know what to say about the 2021 rumour, except Im used to be dissapointed by lego, and as relative good as the summer and fall 2020 was, one should not be used to expect satisfaction by legos production choice. Like some other people say here, I try to console myself that I instead can save some money and buy some loose parts on BL instead.
  8. That or geonosian arena. I think lego is about to move out of their OT comfty zone Never heard about it on this side of the World, dont forget Lego is a danish company not a US, danes aren’t sensitive to alot of stuff, these people are allowed to get drunk on lunch brakes
  9. Wow, yeah full grown man getting SW nerdy after TFA, no probably not the most common, but that just chose that there are many paths to the light side! And yes, probably very few have read all canon comics, I have read pretty much, most of it old republic or older so not canon any more I guess. Dont know how many canon comics there are, but it sounds impressive. But if defending the reverse order by anything, there must be atleast some value to have Palpatine be exposed as the main antagonist, thats hardly any suprise for people who have watch OT
  10. Well actually I made the deciscion when I wanted my wife to watch the Star Wars saga to start with the TPM, mainly because I thought if I start with ANH she would just want to turn of the TV after 5 minutes (shes one of those people who cannot watch a movie older than the 90ies in terms of overall quality). I was somehow wrong, she made it to the cantina then she was like, turn it off. lol. Now I now a bunch of people here would scream DIVORCE. I can't, she would take half my lego... and kill me. Dont know what is worse. ;) To her defense, she actually liked Rogue one and Solo somehow, the ST we haven't come there yet. And for myself, first movie I watched was ROTJ. I was eight or nine years old back in 1991 or 92 and a classmate had just got hold of a cool movie he had taken from his older brother so we were just thrilled we got a cool space adventure movie a bit above our age limit. Before that, I had no idea what Star Wars was. I would be suprised if I was the only one who just started to watch a SW movie like that just randomly.
  11. As usual, the price is 25 % cheaper in US than Sweden. I guess I have to consolidate myseldning that we have free education and almost health care
  12. I wouldnt say that the summer wave was way better than the winter wave and all together I also agree that 2020 is not one one the most solid years of SW lego, even if the Mos Eisley UCS increased it from a much lower point. Although it is substantially better than 2019, which I think was the 2010 decades worst SW year. 2019 had nothing for me, only bought the Tantive IV (just the other week actually where I found it on half price) but that is only because I didn't have the previous version, If I did it would rather have been zero.
  13. Well if you have the extra money you think you can part with in your lego budget, why not. I think it can also be smart in a way that when prices goes up for some of these figures, which they do for many of the "only released ones" figures which in the end of the day, will be the case for most side characters. I didn't have the heart or probable was not economically enough in a tight stop to part with my Ahsoka this spring, but if I had two of her, why not. Actually, I have never seen that CZ droid before. I see from wookieepedia it first appeared in ANH. Looks supercool though, hope they make one, one day
  14. I hope that you have taken some drastic measures like heaviliy police escorts and closed down airports (if your local corona measurement haven't already taken this precautions.
  15. Except Nien Nunb it's basically only a huge bunch of other cantina patrons + Jabba de hutt crew members that we are missing right? But I also think they should make some new ewok variations soon. Well, I guess it's pretty clear by now that the OT will always sell, so in legos money making point of view, some OT bystandards will be made at the expense of more central characters from the other material man sa stop it, dis how di romour si start Still speaking Gungan are we? Haha, we are not getting out of hand here are we?
  16. Lol,'I wonder if disney even know that there is a real drug called spice And even if they didnt include the main cast, I doubt they would fill it up with 6 new characters, especially does that need new molded parts. I think we should just see it as a small bonus, even if we AFOLs dont really appreciate it that much. Not like I have been counting, but really, is that it? Damn, it aint much, then in that regard, it really doesn't make sense to complain
  17. I swear, I wish I would like my kids (or kid the younger one is just a baby) play with them, but frankly Im just worried, especially when she has Friends over. Now and then I let them but it will always be under survellience. When it comes to my lego, KGB in da house!
  18. I think its just that what you Say, displayability was the issue. Maybe it would have been difficult to make an unfolding funktion, but they could have made a removable roof and adding another 50 euros on the price tag
  19. Yeah, they had better variation of minifigures than I hoped for so definitely not displeased, however they still could have added three more I think. As for the Bantha, I agree with you, I got a custom one from Astarbricks like two years ago, don't know if he still sales them, and it doesn't work if u r a purist of course, but thats the best option out there. However I dont think a Lukes Homested or Tusken raider pack is an impossibility, lets hope for it as well. I think its superhard to predict the price change for minifigures. Some definitely drop over time, but others, like Ahsoka, Zeb Orrelius, Rex and the Old Rebuplic Jedi knight (unforutantely I sold the last two when they were far from their price peak) just got damn expensive instead. Even if they were not in super expensive UCS sets. Well if it sells well it's possible, the only we can do to help is that as many of us as possible try to buy this beautiful gem. Next few weeks gonna be a long hard waiting. Will try to even wait until next LUG discount day, but not sure I can hold back that long.
  20. Yepp! I was apparently an unnecessary Thomas again, next time even if it's just made of one brick, I will believe it Now Im puzzled, wasn't the MSB label discountinued? Trying to think of it, but you are probably right. The closest I think with completely new character was probably the UCS Sand Crawler, if one would count droids as characters
  21. Haha you know I spendera time googling descriptions of background characters from even Holiday Special. My aim is to have figures of every SW character ever on screeen (at least the movies)
  22. I agree, especially Kabe is a weird choice and I dont think that looks properly executed, I think lego would have made a new mold for him, Joining the doubting camp
  23. Well Im a more of a player than a model (lol) so it makes sense. I have bought al larger playsets so far. But I would also say that something happens to the room you placing the model in and wallet you take the money from when you need to buy a 600+ sets, it feels what it feels ;). Its actually more than most flight tickets (I try to travel alot, that it my other main hobby besides avoiding to be sober in various ways). Yeah, but still pretty strange that they manage it so well, but I guess what they do is that the just "strangle the flow of information" (that's the direct translation from Swedish, don't know how you express that in english) in a very early stage so even few people at TLG know what they are releasing.
  24. You know what, I think its time for americans to riot over the forum name. And in the near future it will be known as TFFKAEB
  25. Well I feel you on that one, few people have the time, space and money to have a complete collection. I did on the other hand buy the CC but skipped the MF and the SD instead. I was not too satisfied with the sequels either, but have still bought almost all the minifigures, but very few sets. Have on the other hand decided not to buy anything related to legends, and no rebels or the resistance series sets. Well see how I do with the Mandalorian, if I only go for the figures there or buy the ships. It's always a risk to buy the first set. No worries, I've seen people here who write 1000 sentences just in a review over a faceprint, so that was nothing. BTW, I was apparently wrong in my hypothesis on MoS Eisley leak last weak... nothing. Lego is really doning a better and better job to scare off any potential leakers.
