Yoda's Hut is a nice set. I really like it. And the fact that it came with such nice minifigures helped. Licenses bring a bit of an extra cost, that's true, but it's still an overall nice set within that price range in the Star Wars theme. I'd prefer a set like this to have another minifigure in place of the droid, but it's still good. I wouldn't call it trashy.

Former Total Noob (now just noob) starts Castle Project

This is getting more and more impressive! Thanks for the updates, it's really cool to see how such a castle is built. -
Lots of great shows follow this format. Adventure Time is one of the most notable to me, and the 11 minute length is perfectly suited for the storytelling. I hope that the same can be said here.

I appreciate the humility, but don't sell yourself short. Many of the designs you've created are as good or better than many official minfigures. While a job with LEGO is likely as much of a pipe dream for you as it is for most of us, your works are definitely of a professional / official caliber, and I wouldn't be surprised to hear about you getting paid for your designs.

Yes, and so verbose. TL;DR... There are a few such members here. And yes, I know that I have been particularly nasty to Nexo Knights... I disagree. The minifigures are as much a part of the set as the bricks, and often are more appealing (even if the set is great). I often buy a set that has multiple useful minifigures and a crap build, but it's usually because the crap build is at least giving me good bricks in colors that will be useful to me.

I hope that goat turns out to be true, if only because it could mean bringing the mold back to production.- 961 replies

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 19 Rumors, Speculation and Discussion
x105Black replied to Anonknee Muss's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I hope so! Or in one of the movie sets, but that's a bit less likely. -
The new headgear looks great. It should be interesting to see what happens with this. Perhaps an in-house Scooby-Doo type theme. Maybe something like a modern take on Monster Fighters. We will have to wait and see...

Clearly. I stand by my statement.

I thought it was good. I very much enjoyed it. I will let you know when they do.

Minecraft is great! That's most of this forum, though. My vote: Get rid of Nexo Knights, or Elves, or Ninjago!

I don't know how big of a negative impact that would have, if any, when taking into consideration the positive impact that GoT sets would generate. Also, again, it's all in how they roll it out. Maybe it's online only or sold in different storefronts. Who knows, there are a number of ways that it could be done that could actually work.

I'm surprised Dorothy has this many votes, but I guess those are really voted for Toto. At least in the second part... -

That may be true of the theme. My comment was only in reference to the fan art. -

Nice progress! Excited to see where this goes! -
I think some people underestimate the size of such a market, while overestimating the impact that such a change would generate. Sets designed for an older market could still be very successful without being damaging to the brand. It's all in how it is done. For example, they don't have to do the sex and gratuitous blood of Game of Thrones in the sets, just the characters and locations. Still, I acknowledge that I don't have all the information that LEGO has, and I probably have a different sense of the world than those who make their decisions. There is a clear disconnect, so I will likely continue to openly wonder why they do / don't do things, while they will continue to operate along their status quo.

There are a lot of people here that do not like them, but the costumes are wildly popular. -
Favourite TLM2 CMF Minifigures and Accessories Poll
x105Black replied to Anonknee Muss's topic in Special LEGO Themes
All those who are not fans of the costumed characters may be upset with how many votes the Giraffe Suit Guy is getting. My vote was for the Tin Man. Most versatile for my purposes. Runner up, Cowardly Lion. Best accessories I gave to Rex for his hat / hair combo and his baby raptor. Runner up, Benny for the toolbox. -
While all of this may be true, there is clearly a market for these things. If there wasn't, these kinds of complaints / questions wouldn't keep coming up. Still, LEGO probably has a strategy and we will just have to see what happens.

I hope that they don't. Twitter is not meant for kids. The age limit on Twitter is 12, and by then you should have heard and become accustomed to such language.

The Lego Movie 2 - The Second Part 2019 Set Discussion

I noticed that, too. It's very funny. I think that's his other hand. I'm glad to see that smudged face in this set, and it's interesting to see Emmet wearing a Dangervest. Likely a pass from me, I will be on the lookout for the baby raptors, though. -
The Future of Lego Space. (opinions, ideas, discussion)

Maybe a callback to the Infinity Gauntlet having a character from Infinity War voicing the pilot of a fist-shaped ship. I love it. Great source of dark blue parts! -
That looks fantastic! I love to see all the baby raptors, as well.
