Nexo Knights 2016
Space Police XVIII replied to BrickJagger's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Well...between the rear tracks pointing inwards and walls dragging on the ground, I sort of doubt it's supposed to move like that.I'll bet the Library, with its walls folded, fits inside the Fortrex when that's closed up and on the move. -
They do look somehow very Russian. Great job! I really like the Tupolev's tailplane. Neat complicated angles.

Nexo Knights 2016
Space Police XVIII replied to BrickJagger's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Nice, a lot of these look like absolute must buys. I hope this theme sells like hotcakes with weed on top. I am a little disappointed there isn't an Ultimate Littlelegs Axl set though. Maybe second wave.. -
Anyone else really not a fan of the new Octan torso prints? I like the truck, it has parts I want including the wheels...and I can't quite get past the Oc tan jackets. As if the green tights/red thong weren't bad enough.

Looks amazing. Great scenery, and very nice vehicle! But if that snow were any deeper, that nose would become a snowplow..

Looks better than the official set! Red variant looks awesome with the solid black wheels, also.

MOC: My futuristic Everyday Vehicles,LDD and real MOCs

I like the idea, ever since I saw the Legoland branding on old space sets I wanted Lego to make a theme like that. I'm working on one myself, got a few vehicles so far that I'll eventually post. I like your designs, too. Especially the cabs of these last two trucks, nice detailing, and the relatively small windshields make them look imposing and heavy. Nice job! -
I've been building speeder bikes around the basic trike body for a while, this is another one. I'm kind of proud of the front end. And this is a build instruction thing and a parts list. Perspective? no thanks. Proportions? NO WE WILL HAVE NONE OF THAT EITHER

Thanks guys. -zenn, I know what you mean, I have a few others with rounded off or tiled back ends..but I think I like the studded look, too. In Classic Space especially. anothergol - that is really cool, I never did come up with a way to use these trike bodies inverted, I'm going to have to copy that and experiment. Freehand, yes. I could've done a better job on a computer, smoothed things out, adjusted proportions and angles... but sometimes pen and paper just feel so much better. Anyway, thank you!

Interesting engine design. It's giving me ideas... Nice build. And you're right, it does look a little like an A-Wing.

[MOC] Space Liquid Waste Transporter - LWT03

I like it. Nice color scheme for the cab, too. -
Very cool. Really nice use of the windshields.

It can happen. Some of my old Classic Space minifigs from the early-mid-eighties have cracks in the backs of the feet, or along the sides of the torso, but they were also very played with. Just putting them on display is going to be safe.

A philosophic question . . . ...
Space Police XVIII replied to notaromantic's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Depends on whether I've got massive cracks running up the sides of my torso. -
What was your first lego set?
Space Police XVIII replied to Chilly_Productions's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Walking Astro Grappler! 6882 It was amazing and disappointing at once. The actual 'walking' part wasn't very good - probably the best that could be done with an early-eighties selection of parts but, still, not very good. I spent a lot of time trying to improve on it and failing. At least it taught me to build my own stuff. 30 years later, post-Dark Ages, I built an improved version. -
BrickJagger already covered it. The entire quote is displayed in the reply box, I just edited some text between the (quote)(/quote) tags. Your project convinced me to finally register for Lego ideas and vote, best of luck with it! I'll be building my own version eventually, but would love to actually buy this too.

That is just AWESOME. Suddenly I want to build a castle..

I agree with the others. It's a very nice building. I really like the details, curved windows, shaping of the outer walls, the display case full of eyes.. but the big M sign REALLY doesn't seem to fit.

Nice look, tracks and hands especially.

Nexo Knights 2016
Space Police XVIII replied to BrickJagger's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Axl's huge torso/teeny tiny little legs is my one and only complaint about Nexo Knights. He looks kinda ridiculous. But I've already got some ideas on how to build up the legs, it'll work. -
Just...wow. VERY well done.
-
Great build. Nice ship, nice asteroids..nice lore behind it all, too.

Looks fantastic. Great job on the angled plates in front, and color accents in those cargo crates. Could use something to indicate scale, though. Maybe a minifig-scale vehicle photoshopped in, off to the side.
