The 17th was a big day in the US! I picked up the following: -All 4 of the new microfighters -4x Imperial battle packs -Rebel battle pack -Phantom -A-Wing -Desert Skiff -Luke's Landspeeder -Clone Turbo tank -Scarif Bunker Set -Y-Wing

Don't know if you guys saw it, but this picture from the set of TLJ was uploaded by rian johnson. looks like the stormies now have a thinner frown. Do you think we'll see these changes reflected in this year's first order battle pack?

That is a sweet looking blaster. I was looking for it but in their blaster pack, I see a different version of boba's gun. Do you have a link to the version in his picture?

Maybe we will get the rogue one sets on the 1st of march, but the others will come feb. 17th? This is great news though. Glad i'll be able to get these sets earlier. I feel like i've been waiting forever.

@GryffindorResistance I guess it's not elaborate box art, but it def. has the 40th anniversary. I feel like we could potentially get something like that for the lego sets this year. Also, the winter sets came out last year in most of the world.

Do you guys think TLJ sets will sport their own movie specific box art, or the 40th anniversary box art seen on other toys for this year?

As much as I hope Kylo doesn't have a TIE, I could see the special forces piot as a throw in fig. Could you guys see them putting a kaminoan in the rumored Obi-Wan Jedi-Starfighter+Hyperspace Ring Set?

I think if there is a 3rd UCS it could possibly be a tantive IV. @Sir von Lego As it stands, assuming we only get two UCS sets this year, are we more likely to get the UCS falcon, or this unknown third UCS set?

I think a first order snowspeeder would have potential to be the worst UCS set ever, haha. It would be strange if they released it april instead of may, though. Maybe they have something else planned for may.

Do you guys think we will ever get a special forces TIE pilot? Lego missed the obvious opportunity to do this in the special forces TIE set. If they release a regular FO TIE moving forward, it'd be weird for them to have the special forces pilot in it. The only feasible place I can see them including him is a microfighter or the advent calendar(which from what we've seen, he isn't in). Furthermore, I'm not convinced we will ever get a line of episode 7 microfighters. Input anyone?

@Sir von Lego Are you able to comment on how many Episode 8 sets there were?

Can anyone make out who the unknown person in the quadjumper is?

That's the general lego trend. Sets are getting smaller, prices are rising. I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being 50 bucks.

I got some heartbreaking news the other day. The Republic Gunship is my favorite star wars ship. The lego sets always led me to believe that the bubble turrents in the wings were controlled by clones, the same way the bubbles on the sides of the ship are. My buddy, who collects hasbro star wars action figures, informed me that those wing bubble turrents are actually remotely controlled by one of the pilots. I didn't believe him at first, but a wookiepedia search confirmed what he said. Am I the only one who didn't know this about the gunship? This brings up a larger point. Are there any other reasonable play features on lsw ships that aren't on the actual ships? I'm curious if any of more other lego-induced impressions of star wars ships are incorrect.
