    [MOC - WIP] another AT-ST

Fantastic work. I especially love how you made the appearance of a top hatch. By far better than any AT-ST by TLG.

    LEGO LotR - general discussion

I would love to see any kind of Minas Tirith set. It could either be a single large one, like Helm's Deep, or a collection of smaller ones you could enjoy individually or string together. Possible sets if they take the latter route: Gates of Minas Tirith: Two big parts would be the main gates/gatehouse and Grond. Could come with a troll, Gandalf, Witch-king, and a few Gondor and orc soldiers Walls of Minas Tirith: Designed to be modular and attach to other wall sets and/or the gates, could come with a siege tower and/or orc catapult, plus a few Gondor archers and orcs Burning of Faramir: Playset with Gandalf, Pippin, Faramir, and Denethor in the crypt Tower of Ecthelion: Both the tower itself and the adjacent courtyard, with the White Tree. Maybe include a trebuchet to help defend the city. I think all of these could be successful independently, and if designed with this in mind, could absolutely be combined to create an epic Minas Tirith. Honestly, I am quite astonished at the lack of ANY Minas Tirith-based set.

    [MOC] Imperial Troop Transport

This is fantastic. It hits that sweet spot of just enough details while retaining that feel of simplicity. You may want to consider modifying the roof under the turret to open in addition to the back, so that you have better access to the storage area (which looks like it is/could be quite large).

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors

Very few options for a set that size, but here are some of my thoughts on it: 1. It is from the OT or PT. They would not green light such a huge set before TFA is released and they can see how much screen time it gets, fan reactions, etc. 2. If it is a play set, the price leaves very few options. The Death Star, Echo Base, and the Ewok Village already exist/will exist. That really just leaves Cloud City and the Yavin IV Base as options. 3. It is not a Death Star. Too soon after 10188 has been on the shelves, especially if they are producing more 10188. 4. Given the price/size, if it is a vehicle, it is an exceptionally well-known one, and so there are only two options: Star Destroyer or Millennium Falcon. I am hoping for (and would put my money on) a Star Destroyer or Millennium Falcon. Both 10030 and 10179 sold well, were very popular, and have a lot of fans asking for newer versions. TLG has released newer versions of previous UCS sets (see X-wing). It has been five years since 10179 was discontinued and seven years since 10030 was discontinued, so they've waited a respectable amount of time. Moreover, there is a clear way for them to distinguish both new models from what existed previously: interiors. They have been trending in this direction with UCS sets lately. I have seen a number of 10179 mods with custom interiors, and they could easily put a bridge mockup in the body of a star destroyer (a la 10221, maybe with a few other rooms too). So... small chance it's a big Yavin IV/Cloud City playset, but most likely, in my opinion, it's going to be a redesigned UCS Millenium Falcon or Imperial Star Destroyer, with interior.
  5. It's been great reading all these updates. I feel like it's only a matter of time until I cave and go through this process myself!

The Thrawn Trilogy - Dreadnought Heavy Cruiser

These are beautiful. Do you happen to have any LDD files or mid-construction pictures? I would love to try and replicate these wonderful ships.
