Very cool, you have an awesome collection! Your port will definitely inspire my own when I begin construction.

ZING! Nice!

SuperChris, be prepared to be haunted by the concept of cookie-giving for the rest of your EB career... We don't tend to forget that sort of thing! Anyway, welcome to EB!

BrickArms Featured in Wire Magazine Cover Article!
Steel Dragon replied to the enigma that is badger's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Arg, this issue has been sitting on my kitchen counter for days! If I had only read deeper into the article... Ah well, as has been said, the press is great for AFOLs. Great point made by Will on the Chinese market thing, too. -
It's great, but I feel like that pilot is way too unprotected. I wish I had that many U-Clips!

TOMBCLONE: Wild West MOC Series
Steel Dragon replied to I Scream Clone's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Tumbleweeds! Hahaha! Great work, these look like Jamie Berard designed Wild West official sets. Awesome stuff, and so much detail! -
Without knowing what a Viper is , I can say that the color scheme and placement of lime is looking great so far! The greeblies are nce too. Keep it up/

Rebel Fleet troopers and Scout Speeders wanted
Steel Dragon replied to JCC1004's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I don't have the speeder together, but the troops and blasters I might be able to provide. No promises though, I sorta co-own them... What do you have to trade? -
Facebook users, check this out!
Steel Dragon replied to Steel Dragon's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Thanks for the clarification, I was wondering about, well, pretty much all of that. Much obliged. -
CITY: Extremely random photos from Lego City!
Steel Dragon replied to ACCURATEin's topic in LEGO Town
Wow, as impressive as the whole layout is, the thing that stands out most for me is the foliage... it's a mark of great LEGO skill when your creations are almost indistingushiable from sculpted, painted models! I especially like the tree using the 1 x 1 cylingers with 3 leaves... genius! -
Welcome to EB! Those PF Hummers look spectacular, and that castle reminds me of some classic sets. You also have the sphinx, so I'm jealous of you. I was so close to getting it when it came out, but I didn't go for it; I've regretted not buying it ever since. Again, welcome to EB! I'm sure your additions to the Technic forum will be greatly appreciated! ~SD :EDIT: 200 posts! Woohoo!

Hey thanks for the warning, you just saved a few visors from being messed up. Is there a thread about this sort of thing in MCW? This is an important thing to have info about, I think.

That window is amazing! I wish I had that many clear 1 x 2 plates! I like the senator, that's a pose you don't see often that works really well. The Hunter's suit is another gem: In fact, I may make my own! Overall, a really great job!

<---Trendsetter So I'm working on another comic. Crazy right? I love this universe. Super kudos to computerbug. Now we just need to start it up, like a crazy claptrap STEEL machine of amazing.
-
As an alternate plan, you could use white-out on the black hats. I can't vouch for the color matching, however...
-
It very well may depend on the type... I use a Broad Point (chisel I think)...
-
Aye, Sharpie black dries in a color almost identical to LEGO black. I've recolored/modified a good number of pieces with my trusty Sharpie, and they always come out great.
-
This is amazing, I love the whole comic! Every aspect fits into the universe perfectly: the white office, the holo-screen (nice touch), the RATs everywhere... The window shot may be my favorite of the comic. I sincerely hope Coffeebot is a recurring character.

No love for the Indy satchel? Or is this just for non-Minifigure parts? Cheese slope is obviously a contender, as well as the 'scope, but allow me to point out the 1 x 1 brick with studs on 2 sides. A very useful parts. Hmm... maybe this thread should be retitled "Elements of the decade"?
-
Yes, these minis definitely stress the brick-or rubber, as it were. But I can't see that being too much of a problem; with such great looks and minimal piece use, why would anyone take these little guys apart?

I was this close *holds up fingers, half an inch apart* to having this set when it came out, but no! I had to wait and get the Darth Vader (which my brother insisted was cooler ), and even then the Technic Darth is one of maybe 3 models I own but have never built. Such a sad situation . But enough sob story: this is a great review for a great set, and a welcome addition to the review archives I'm sure. I never knew about the spring-loaded aspect; very nice!

Welcome to EB! I do remember seeing The Journey Inward on TBB (or wherever), a while ago, and just staring at it, mouth agape. Truly awesome, as are your other MOCs . The Invisible Hand is nearly indistinguishable as being made of LEGO, like a sculpted, painted model; very cool! As sci-fi seems to be you're game, and if you think you could be patient enough to endure CallMePie's babble (joshin' ya CallMePie! ), I'm sure we'd love to see you over at the CYBERPUNK game. It could use some "professional endorsement" . If gaming's not your bag, that's awesome too. I can't wait to see more stunning MOCS from your magic workshop! Loving the new high-profile members, ~SD

May have found a gold mine, worth it?
Steel Dragon replied to Boris Bee's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Definitely! I would go for it, but that may just be my obsession with trans-yellow parts talking. Considering figs rarely go for under $1.50 (decent figs like these, anyway), and that there are so many parts, it definitely looks worth it. If you do go for it, I'm sure we'd all like a detailed inventory of the buy! Good luck!
