That would be funny, but maybe a little harsh. You'd just get it for a little while, I suppose?

Collectible Minifigures Trading Suggestion
BrickArtist replied to Donut's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
It is looking very tidy now. Thanks WhiteFang! I may start trading in there at some point -
Hi all, today I'd like to present to you my republic Ordinance Lifter MOC. It can be found in the Revenge Of the Sith visual dictionary. C&C welcome. My Brickshelf.
-
I agree. I think they did well on the N-1, Chrome would be a lot to ask for.

Just so you guys know, TLG has the best replacement policy out there. They'll apologize, and mail you as many replacement parts as you require. Tell them that your ARF trooper helmet looks like it has swimming goggles on, an they'll probably say it's common problem.
-
I think less than a well printed one. I'm guessing that some prints were made and were mis-shaped. It's not like a red Vader Helmet or anything.
-
You got it bad, but this a very common happening. Whenever TLG uses excessive printing, as they have recently, this happens to some degree

Hello there! My name is brickartist, or dobbyclone. Some of you may know me as the guy in the tub, , or more currently dobbyclone. I'm completely obsessed with the BARC, and LSW MOCing. I've recently been trying out some larger scale MOCs(Links in my sig) Hmmm I suppose that's about it. Well, that was fun, OK bye now... ...

That's the point-The other one had a torch while in the bath. It's supposed to be ironic-He's wearing armor, a felt hat, a feather, and a crossbow while bathing/showering.
-
Oh, I see how one could say that. The idea is to have it be as unorthodox as possible. The Guyintub had a torch, for example. Now he's drinking a beverage in the shower.

Thanks. I don't have much yellow, especially in small sizes. The only way to accurately represent that would be paint, or stickers. Maybe you could help me out with that? Thanks! Thanks! That holds well, as Brickdoctor can likely confirm. I always pinch the clips to tighten them up too. Thanks! Yeah, as I said to Yogi. Thanks!
-
Yeah, that's the theme. Guyinshower and Guyintub. What'd you think it was? Well, I honestly just couldn't find the other ones.

Observant viewers will notice he switched shampoo brands

I'll have another sig with him at some point. I really liked that Sig.

Link journal It just says it all...

If you read my post, you'd read that that's our approach.

Wow, this turned from a perfectly good WIP thread, to a bashing fallen thread. What's up with that? It seems as though all the fellows decided to whine about you and barely mention your model. About the adaptations thing, I wouldn't call that the golden rule. Everyone has their own approach. Both fallen and me see it the same way-The best MOCs have the fewest adaptations. In others eyes, the idea is to make it appear as good as possible.

I always love it when a staff member locks a topic, or bans a member in style. What are your favorites? Mine would have to be when Shadows locked a topic asking what your favorite clone trooper is, and wrote: "Many have tried to clone my greatness, but all have failed. Like this topic. Seriously people, WE HATE LISTS and FAVOURITES and any topic that doesn't encourage conversation, just mindless naming of things and spamming. Stop it!"

Your talking about the forum that has a topic asking what Airsoft Guns people own

Macoco's Buying/Selling & Trading Topic
BrickArtist replied to Piranha's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
You are bumping. As siggy states here. I'm just wondering if this is still a rule, or if it's just not being enforced. It's quite frustrating. -
Do you buy 1 set to play with and 1 to keep sealed?
BrickArtist replied to thegurumb's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Really good sets that I latch to might last a month. I destroy sets for parts. If ever buy multiples it's either for minifigs, or parts. -
Rufus' takes the cake-such a nicely done banner. Thanks to all the fellows, they are very good!

I'm back with more! My most recent UCS model-The Ifantry Support Platform. It's a heavy variant of the BARC, so I felt yo compelled to do another, more accurate, UCS model of it. So I wanted to do a studded UCS this time around. Pretty much due to the fact that I am very low on tiles. Some portions of the build pleased me...others did not Anyways hope you like it, and please leave a little feedback behind So here's a shot of the completed model, and one of the real ISP: Here's a shot of the fan at the back, I was pleased with the appearance of the old CTT wheel. And a shot of the forward guns: Thanks for looking, please leave behind some good ole C&C! Also be sure to check out my UCS BARC here.
-
Hmm, that would gappy, but possibly. Yeah it would be sturdy. I might make one, people wanted me to do that for the BARC. I found it to be pretty difficult. Maybe Mood cold make one for me... Thanks!

Star Wars: The Clone Wars: season 3 discussion
BrickArtist replied to Corvus's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Let's say your attacking the pentagon, your in you've got you guy...but oh "look at those jets!". It's like that. Besides, the chancellor being kidnapped meant just about every republic ship in the galaxy coming home. The effected area was the senate building, which was repaired over the course of the movie.
