Sorry KDM, didn't mean those remarks that way. From what I've seen in your other models, I think that you go for a more aesthetically pleasing approach. For example, the references pictures you link show clearly the BARC being grey, yet you use white because it looks better as a piece of eye-candy to the viewer. I think your model looks nicer, and more appealing to the viewer than any of mine. I always thought, seeing your style of C&C you were more of that type of MOCer, I meant no offense in contrasting out approaches to MOCing. My intentions were to stop comparisons of our models, which is not what I wanted to happen. Onto the model, here’s what I think needs work: Right now you have Z-74 handlebars on there, which aren’t accurate. They deliver the wrong shape and Minifig hand angle. The handlebars stem from the area, brick building the sloping nose portion would render better results, and then you could leave a plate gap to attach the new handlebars onto. The front-Right now you have those extra bulky 2x4 inverting pieces there. Using the white piece that you have on the underside on the back of your model(Which if removed will make the back more accurate, we’ll get to that later) And stick on the front it would slim down that portion. Then place a modified 1x1 brick with studs on 2 sides there to put jumper plates on for the thickening front portion. Your repulsors are massive; compare the ones on the Salucami reference pic to a clones torso. Then hold the ski piece next to a lego minifigs torso –you’ll see what I mean. The Back- The use of the two 1x4 sloping white pieces side by side looks abnormally blocky, try putting 1 on there and using a modified 1x1 with studs on two sides to attach the correctly shaped plates on and capture the rounded back portion. This solution will also render a smoother transition to the 1x2 45 Grey brick, which is transitioned to abruptly. The back is incredibly too wide, 8 studs? I think 6 is pushing it. Try replacing that ski piece with a 1x2 tile, and reducing the Repulsor size. I have more too, but I’ll keep it at this for now.

Weather it's my Minifig Scale version, or my UCS, version, both are not comparable to KDMs. We used different refferences, and made different styles of attempts. KDM isn't quite going for 100% accuracy, as I was. He also appears not to want to evolve his model to a point of perfection, as I did. We both took our own unique approach. BTW KDM, do you want a couple of easy points to make your model better? I have a couple in mind

From what I can see, it looks good. It's a much needed MOD to TLGs ugly blue Ties.

I don't love it, but I get it. Obviously I could give you the 5 page criticism, but I appreciate your approach. With that being said, it is a nice piece of eye-candy.

Minifigs-Clone Trooper Battlepack. Phase II clones, 'nough said. Parts -Rebel trooper Battlepack. Bley slopes are handy. Design -Droid Battlepack. A great STAP, and a nice little carrier. Overall the best BP IMO. 3 SBDs, and 4 B1s. Doesn't get much better than that. Or does it?

LucasArts owns the star wars rights, so with their permission you can sell certain fields of merchandise. If Lucas gave 2 companies action figure rights, it would cut their profit in half. To TLG it doesn't make financial sense to outbid hasbro for that liscense.

I'm pretty sure it's a European product. My theorie stands-Some of the printers were made improperly. I also noticed that most reporting the error are USA residents....?

The green baseplate hurts my eyes, maybe some micro scale stuf down there to help with the perspective? Like a base of sorts? Anyways the rock is nicely done.

Agreed. This season brought more mysteries than it revealed secrets. It's like whispering into someones ear telling them the secret you were going to tell them is that you have 1000 more pivotal secrets to tell them.

Faceless armies? You guys contradict yourselves a lot. TCW has had entire episodes devoted to developing the relationships between clones. They also show the separatist losses too. This conversation is sorry for the size 7 Mods, I just feel it's necessary. If You Don't Like The PT Then Just Don't Watch It.

Had they of snipped out the overly inverting pieces in the middle the entire design would appeal more. Legosteins micro rendition is better and more accurate than this.

I think the guns need the most work. I think it's crucial that you end them on the bar thickness. Brickdoctors suggestion of using 1x1 clips on there would look loads better on there too. Anyways, the model looks great. Lots of interesting techniques and design in there

Hello Ladies and Gentleman! Today I would like to present to you my rendition of the elegant, sleek, and majestic N-1 Starfighter. What a wonderful ship it is For some reason when I was comparing legos to the real deal I fell in love with the ship. It's so smooth, and angular. Alot of people, alike me, were very disappointed at the re-release of the 2007 N-1, with minor adaptations. I really wanted to make my own. I think TLG was at a dis-advantage when designing, because one of the critical appearances of the N-1 is its smooth shape. If you show a stud on the wings, you lose the elegance that the ship possesses. I used just about every yellow tile I owned in addition to some SNOT to rid the model of studs. Some might argue that because of how thin the actual wings are, SNOT is disproportionate. However, I personally believe that smoothness is key, and it compensates for the extra thickness. Thanks very much KDM! Right now, my yellow supply is very sly. I will likely do a BL order to execute those curves, and angles better. As I said to KDM-I wish I had a Lot more yellow. By the time I'd reached building the back I only had that 1x8 tile left To bricklink! Thanks Thanks for those fallen I'll take them into mind on V2! Thanks!
