Wow very impressive! This reminds me of Derfel Cardarns "ye old forge" (which is a compliment )

90 lego-less days would seem like 90 years to me! that's awful,

General Pirates of the Caribbean Theme Discussion Thread

I'm really excited for this theme, and that torso looks great! P.s-Do you pirates fans seriously think an everyday customizer made that, the details are tiny and intricate! -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 4 discussion
BrickArtist replied to legokuate's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Hmmm I typed in the list from the link on babelfish and it gave me this:A serial with 16 entirely new mini characters. Each figurine sits in an untransparent small pocket, therefore you cannot see immediately which mini figurine gets you. And every character has own accessories, standard and forager notebook be. The collectie has been inspired on films, sport, history and living everyday, and contains: The monster, Surfmeisje, sailor, kimono little girl, punk, Viking, skater, hockey player, Skateboarder, man in security package, musketeer, wolf, artist, crazy professor, footballer and garden gnome. As from 5 years. The difference is the wolf (not werewolf, could just be translation), and skater, not speed skater. We can assume they will do the wolf like the series 3 ape, and I'm guessing for the skater they'll make skates that the fig can hold in one hand, same technique that the series 2 skier used to hold his skies. EDIT: Didn't see this was already done sorry, anyway I'll just keep my insights on the list here -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 3 discussion

Haha, the comments on the 20-25 pages are cracking me up , everyone seems to think theirs a definition of what the ideal elf should look like from D & D, or like lord of the rings. Just bear in mind that no matter what TLG does, SOMEBODY is gonna have problem with it. I personally think they're doing an outstanding job, the minifigures series are a true tribute to lego themes. I mean they could of just passed up the idea, remember that its not the easiest thing to make up and let alone design an actual lego set that is 100% liked. -
Somebody earlier said that MMV is dead, its still on the lego website. http://shop.lego.com/product/?p=10193&LangId=2057&ShipTo=US

Amazing, at a glance looks like the real thing. The wings are cockpit are my favorite.

Hahaha, I remember that space skull set. nobody wanted it so it went dirt cheap . These grab bags look great! I'm gonna look out for these next time im in a pick-a-brick outlet. One thing i have noticed about the outlets is the pick-a-brick station at the back of the store give some amazing deals! last time i was in there i got one of those eight dollar tubs, and if your methodical putting the bricks in(small pieces at the bottom, little pieces in the space between big pieces, and flexy pieces on the top so you can jam the top on :laugh then you can get a real bang for your buck. Also avoid the big tubs, much better deal for two little ones.

I'm surprised nobody has said master Luminara, I like her an Saesee Tiin the best.

Woah!!! Jaw-dropping!! this astonishingly well done, i like the way you have made so many tales fit together in one MOC. I have a suggestion, you should enter this into the fair-tale themed contest on classic castle. I think you would have a HUGE chance of winning! http://www.classic-castle.com/events/ccc/prizes.cgi?contest=cccviii

You 74zs are spot on. Whenever builders make make barcs they seem to fat but (I regret to say) yours is a little skinny. But overall these are amazing, nice job!!

Do we have confirmation? Wasn't it just one person who said they got a glimpse of it?

REVIEW Castle 7097 - Trolls' Mountain Fortress
BrickArtist replied to Svelte's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I thought this set wasn't THAT bad, but it wasn't one of the better lego sets out there. It come with a lot of interesting parts though. -
Nice MOC, I quiet like the buildings. Great Job!
-
Thanks for the review Alex 54! What a nice simple easy set.
-
Nice, i like the overflowing treasure cart, and the camp looks great. Good luck in the contest!
-
The thought of kingdoms discontinuing is a nightmare to me, I'm really hopeful it does continue though. Does it strike anyone else as odd that they would end the theme with a simple creator set marketed at newer builders?
-
Yeah, the gray looks bad compared to silver. Feels really out of place.
-
I think it looks longer and shiner, it also appears there is a section of the arrow sticking out at the end. In the past the bows have been rubbery and floppy i hope thats not the case with this one.
-
The white owls, and Medusas hair, are both very creative!! Beutiful moc
-
Ohh that looks good, that elf figure is a jack-pot, printed legs, awesome torso, blonde slick hair, and (i do agree with you ) a good looking bow. Yet i wish lego would take away that loaded bow, and replace it with a string!!!
-
The prince of persia pieces combined with the tree really spell out elf wealth, i like this moc a lot great job!
-
I would like to see a new bow, and a longer, skinner, more accurate sword.
