Hi everyone, I present to you my very first modular moc . For this little project I mainly focused on the outside as that is where most of the appeal of a modular building is (for me at least ). For the outside I wanted to try and make someting that you could see here in The Netherlands and my main inspirations where the buildings in Amsterdam. I did want the outside to be colourful tho, as to make it fit with the official modular sets. As the inside so small I didn't know what to with it for a long time. As an art gallery is mostly decorated on the walls, I thought it would fit well. Also because it's an art gallery, I wanted to make it look like the building has been expanded on the backside and thus make it feel more "modern". You can see the full album on my Flickr. Hope you all like it!

Hi everyone, I present to you my newest version of the entrance hall at Hogwarts. It took me quite a while to make it look how I wanted and I hope you all like it. (I also made a simpel video to showcase it) .

Thanks! I like to do photography in my spare time, so naturally I use some of the same techniques for my Lego photos. Yeah, I took inspiration from some different sources, but the main ones where the early HP games. I was inspired to create this moc after playing Hogwarts Legacy. Thank you! I liked adding the minifigures as well. Some of the students in this moc where even D&D characters in our HP universe (mine was Niall, the Slytherin student with the black hair). Thank you so much!

That would be great and I think would help quite a lot of other people :)

That's what I'm also very curious about. Cuz if you make the set as flush with the wall as possible without modifying it, it doesn’t look at all 50cm deep. I have the same problem that my shelves are 38cm deep and 76cm wide. So I would very much like to know how deep it is when it's flush with the wall.

This set looks beautiful! But I will replace some of the heads and hairpieces with the originals.

Wizarding World 2022 - Rumors & Discussion

He wears a jacket that looks a bit like this and not a shirt. Even then, the patern is different. These lines are broken up, but on his jacket they are continuous lines. -

Also trying to figure that out, but can't find anything. Maybe it's just not from Harry Potter at all. -

I build mine as well yesterday and it's so cool (best Horntail so far for me). It's the only one out of the three moving creatures I have, cuz I love it's minifig scale. And I really like dragons in general, so this was an instant buy for me. -

I don't know if it has already been said, but in the ministry set, I really don't understand why they gave Mafalda Hopkirk the ponytail hairpiece. She has no ponytail at all in the film. They should've used used the hairpiece that originaly came with the bride minifig in the minifigure series, it's an exact match of the hairstyle. And they even have it in the regular brown. -

I never understood why they make you build the branches straight. I have the treehouse myself and if you fold al the branches down a bit, it looks waaaay better. It's not so flat on the top and it creates more of a dome shape. I saw it two times already and I love it :D But yeah, it's a little hard I think to create lego sets for it (still really want it tho ). I hope, when there may be a 3rd minifig series, they give us some Fantastic Beasts characters like the first wave. -
Professor Trelawney has her Deathly Hallows outfit . And Harry also has a new torso in the clock tower, as I believe you can see the stains on his light blue shirt. I also looove the idea of a printed round 1x1 time turner

I love this set All those new minifigure parts and new print!! There is even a new owl design!
-
Nooo, I really wanted that blue dragon . I have only one Vidiyo set and that is the red dragon beatbox, just because the minifig was so awesome. Let's hope I can get the blue one via Bricklink.

You're missing Severus Snape I think
-
If the figure on the left uses the face of Wuher, I'm not so sure it's suposed to be Rufus Scrimgeour. The face they use has a stubble, while Rufus Scringeour is clean shaven in all of his scenes

Just use the 2018 hairpiece from Dumbledore on the Michael Gambon version and there you go hahaha. But yeah, I did not count the younger versions of Dumbledore
-
I think, with the new sets, we have basicly every outfit he's ever been in
-
I'm pretty sure the torso and legs are a new print. The colour is also more of an orange than a dark red and I think I know which outfit this is. It's what he wears in quite some scenes in COS, which is fitting of course. (Also, this is the outfit in the Chamber of Secrets set)
-
No he was not from that bonus level, those were gold cards. He was a bronze card which you (together with the silver cards) collected in the story levels, different parts of Hogwarts or even trade with other students.

OMG! Did anyone here notice there is a Hengist of Woodcroft (founder of Hogsmeade village) reference inside the Three Broomsticks?! There is a portrait of him hanging right from the door on the inside. And they very clearly used the design of his chocolate frog card from the first two video games instead of the Universal park version. Absolutely LOVE that detail, especially because it's from the old games.
-
Yep, it was Monica. The outfit matches perfectly.
-
After seeing golden Ron, golden Harry is exactly as i expected, which is good :) And I really like getting all those hairpieces in gold. Would be great for things like statues.
-
That is indeed her flying lesson outfit instead of the quidditch match one and I love it. The hairpiece also works quite well I think and it’s the first time we're getting it in light grey :D
