    The Lego Ninjago Movie (2017)

Garmadon and Misako in war gear reminded me of how in the TV series, Garmadon wanted to recreate Ninjago in his vision alongside his family (I doubt the movie will go that way but I thought it was interesting). Speaking, A lot of people will probably want the figure of Misako geared up, it's got some cool molds, prints, and piece colors.

    LEGO Ninjago Movie Videogame

Aside from seeing gameplay, a couple of important things that were discussed in the video were: - 360 degree camera at all times! I've always wanted this in action-specific Lego games - 100+ characters and surprises for fans of the TV series - The levels themselves seem to be one big area, as if the level itself is a hub. Any transitions are made with small in-game cutscenes Ninjility seems to be just advanced movement options in general. Ledge grabbing, ledge autohopping, etc. Which is also great. In Lego Marvel Superheroes I would select Deadpool and see how far I could travel along the roofs of Manhattan, and do a lot of climbing challenges so it's great to see it's encouraged in this game
  3. What does achieving 3 full sets of figures in a box mean in terms of what's rare and what isn't? Will we have to wait and see to find out what figures are harder to get than others? Or does getting 3 full sets in a box mean that we should expect even distributions of most figures?
  4. I don't think "muscular" is the best word to describe... A ribcage
  5. How would I know? I said that someone else in the Ninjago 2017 thread said it was confirmed non canon on Twitter. I decided to trust whoever said that, but apparently they altered what was said... Also Ninjago's SDCC panel is on Sunday, in case anyone didn't know. And from there we should get news on what went down the next day, or even Sunday night.
  6. Someone in the Ninjago 2017 thread said it was confirmed non-canon on twitter. Also Wu's Teas is the last we'll see of the current Lloyd voice actor. Come to think of it, Lloyd has 4 voice changes in total (young, older, the new voice, the movie) while everyone else just has 2 (show, movie)...
  7. I remember those episodes having "filler" in the title in some languages. So I guess this can be one big filler episode. It's not canon, but a lot of people really don't like the episode anyway. It's not often we get these not plot-focused things though, so I can see where they're coming from. Also Ninjago has a spot in SDCC as Lego's last event. Hopefully we get a decent amount of info on season 8 rather than some hints or something.

They've only changed Cole's look for the movie though. Hands of Time's Cole and Nya co-exist with black and grey colors. I think the figures look a lot better with the old hair as well (except Zane's, his fits the figure way better). But the faces are pretty good honestly.

That's not season 8. It's a short little event, like Day of the Departed. If anything, that episode would fit more in season 7. I doubt it, it seems like Misako has instead encountered Garmadon in the present. Why would Misako leave Garmadon when he's already all evil looking?

Maybe Lloyd will have the ZX outfit we see him wear in The Lego Movie. The ninja had ZX outfits in that one short with Emmet and Lloyd as well. But what I would like to see is the ninja appearing as they do in the TV show, with animations and the look of the show. It would be really cool.

    Future Action and Adventure Themes

._. well uh, Nexo Knights is a mish-mash of nature and futuristic technology, my idea is technology versus nature. The sets themselves might look like what i'm talking about, but the world seen in the TV show is very different than what i'm describing. This might be unrelated, but one thing I didn't like about Nexo Knights is that it takes both technology and fantasy/natural themes, instead of doing one or the other. If Nexo Knights failed, it would be awkward getting another knights theme because Nexo Knights already used both genres.

    Lego Marvel Superheroes 2

I heard this game will handle it's story differently than the usual Lego game? Something about a non-linear story? Why isn't that being discussed? Like, at all?

    Future Action and Adventure Themes

I've always wanted a knights theme that's almost entirely futuristic. That is, settings, weapons, everything futuristic. The storyline would be that to get the world into it's current state, some... Not good...Things had to be done. Some people realized this, and now they are constantly trying to revert the land back to the way it was centuries ago. Is it even right for the knights to defend against this? (the discovery would be a major plot twist that would make the viewer question who's really the protagonists) The knights would have sleek outfits that are uniform (that is, only has a slight amount of varying color), and the villains wouldn't have a spot of technology on them. The setting would have natural growths like plants and trees, but in extreme moderation, which would make for some cool building techniques.

o.o Also, I hope the upgrades are also for movement, pure combat upgrades are kinda... Underwhelming. It's wasted potential.

To be honest, i'd rather have an oversized-scale build than an undersized one. At least there's space, and if you're really that picky about the scale, if it's oversized you can just display it on it's own. I was actually overjoyed when I saw that 4x6 space in the door area next to the stairs. Actual space! Better to have too much space than no space...

I think the piece would be even better if it was like it is in the movie (shorter, and just how it is in the movie in general). It'd make customs a lot better that way I don't have a problem with it right now, but I kind of want it to be accurate to the movie. The piece looks a lot better there.

    LEGO Ninjago Movie Videogame

Oh yeah... Kai has a homing attack in the trailer (a homing attack is a move like sonic's double jump in Dimensions). If the other characters have unique moves like that too that can even chain together with other unique moves, the combat could turn out great Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 has a game-changing feature too (or something)? I thought it was just another Lego game (but that isn't a problem since I loved the first game). Nothing new from the gameplay I saw though

    LEGO Ninjago Movie Videogame

There are even challenge buildings in this game. They must really want you to be involved with this new mechanic. I just hope it isn't what i'm fearing (just increased damage, and no real difference besides that).

Also, I find it really funny... That if you look at the scene in the trailer where the ninja are gearing up, Lloyd puts on his mask. Does anything feel off about it? Yes. The mask has animated movement. The bottom of the mask piece moves as Lloyd slides it down his head. If we looked just a little bit closer we would have realized the masks would be two-piece.

On the set boxes Lloyd's face is next to some leaves. I thought that would indicate that his elemental power was nature in this movie, and it still can be. What if the "green" Lloyd gets his energy from is the plants he's always around in the promotional art? We've never even seen Lloyd use elemental power in the movie. Heck, the only powers we've seen are Nya breathing underwater (even though it's been stated that the original Nya can't do that) and Kai's hand on fire, both in posters

    LEGO Ninjago 2017 Discussion

It's really nice to see the old designs and poses again. It's... Kind of paradoxical... But that's nothing new for Ninjago, I guess. A question I have... In shots of the movie, Nya's cloth piece does not cross more than halfway through the little curve on a minifigure's legs, like here. But in the sets... Nya's cloth piece is basically a dress when compared. It extends to the end of the curve and maybe a little more. Pictures kind of vary, but here's this one. Maybe they're just trying to make the piece a little universal, but I personally would like the piece to be shorter.

    The LEGO Unikitty Show

I agree with Dalekbuster. Just because kids are the primary audience of Lego in general doesn't mean they should focus entirely on them with their medias. Maybe if this was directed especially at young kids, like the Juniors line... But this is on Cartoon Network, so I doubt that. I feel like making a comparison to Friendship is Magic and how it looks like despite it's products, the show can be viewed by a more broad audience... But I don't know anything about that series

    LEGO Ninjago Movie Videogame

Sure, keeping it the same really helps anyone play and do fairly decent... But we've had that for years now. I've only really owned 2 Lego games, but simply looking at the others is making me tired. I'm all for some significant innovations, even some complexity too, so that it wouldn't just be different; but challenging in a fun way too.

Assuming these villians keep the aquatic theme, they could be the piranhas the set list above talked about. The blue enemy had tiny teeth, and I think I saw some on the red enemy too. The black helmets the orange and red ones are wearing could also resemble a piranha head.

    The Lego Ninjago Movie (2017)

CGI Misako looks a lot better than the minifigure we've seen. I mean, that's usually the case when CG and Lego are involved, but the movie is what the sets are based on, like how Misako in the TV show is what was used to make the Misako figure. People were speculating a movie trailer around this week, looks like we got a game trailer instead
