I agree, a Animated Lego show does NOT need to feature Lego parts. The show was looking perfect just the way it was, the characters looked elegant, now they look like Dwarf children.

The sets have now been posted on the dutch site SinQel.com. I'm from the Netherlands but never heard of this site. They call set 41186 'Azari & de ontsnapping uit het Goblinbos', which translates as: 'Azari & the Escape from Goblin Forest'. They have it at € 19,99. It looks like our Elves are going to do a lot of escaping this year.

Don't know if it is old news, but S@H has a Elves Emily Jones' diary sketch book with an Elvendale map. Can't wait to get it. http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Emily-Jones-secret-diary-stationary-set-853565?fromListing=listing

Yeah I know. It seems to me that a lot of Lego's products have a higher price in the Netherlands. And with the euro currently at $ 1,10 we get an even worse deal. But luckely there are shops that have lower prices, I bought my Secret Market Place on Schmetstoys.nl for € 54,95, so that's a real good price. Of all the 2015 sets the Treetop Hideaway (41075) is my definite favourite. It looks beautyfull, has a lot of play-features and small details. To me it looks better, both in design and considering it 'only' had 500 parts, then Skyra's Mysterious Castle (41078) which costs about twice as much. If I had to choose between two Treetop Hideaways or one Skycastle I would pick the Treetop Hideaway all day long. I also loved the Magical Bakery (41074) great design and colours. Yeah, you should really get the Playmats, the are absolutely huge, especially when you put them next to one another. I wish I had the space to display them with al the sets on it, but alas.

It took all day for me in the Netherlands, but I finally got an e-mail about the double VIP points. Nothing to see on the site though. The double points only appear when I put something in the shopping cart.

Thank! You! Mh, for me it worked just fine, I could see the whole thing. It was great, way more world building, and travel scene's. Made Elvendale more of a real place to me. But where was Dusti, from the 'Ragana, Jynx and Dusti Character spot'? That also had a lot of shots not from the movie, something to look forward to in the next ep- or webisode.

Same here. Now I really can't wait. Hopefully it'll pop up on Youtube or the official site soon.

Yeah you're right about Johnny. I saved the pictures before they were gone, but somehow I'm never able to post them here. Could somebody enlighten me?

I thought so too, but I guess it's part of the riddle in the movie, so they jumbled up the words in order to make 'em rhyme. Great to hear it's gonna be an hour long. Did anybody notice that some information on the official site has been removed? For a couple of days there were pages for Ragana, Gust and the Dragon Queen Elandra, but now they are gone. One picture on the Ragana Character page showed her as a kid, with other kids (including Johnny Baker (still a terrible name)) in the background. So I guess we'll be seing at least one flashback in the upcoming movie.

I build all the sets and wanted to let you all know what my thoughts are. I already wrote about 41174 The Starlight Inn and 41172 Water Dragon Adventure. 41171 Emily Jones and the Baby Wind Dragon: It's a fun little set. The landscape piece looks real good, there's a little cave and some other nice details. The play feature doesn't make that much sense to me. 41173 Elvendale School of Dragons: Great set, with great value for money. It's a € 20,00 (or $) set, but it looks like a € 28,00 set to me. Tidus is a great figure and the set features lots of small details. The Dragon School Banner is a personal favourite of mine. 41175 Fire Dragon's Lava Cave: Another great set, The Dragon is the biggest so far, but it has very limited poseability. The Water Dragon Merina (from set 41172) had it's legs farther away fron it's body, allowing for greater movement. With the Fire Dragon Zonya the ball joints are incapsulated in bricks, thus restricting the movement to forward-backward and only allowing them to bend inward, under the body. The extra parts of this set are great, the lava cave has a nice sliding lava-fall and the evil well and small campfire really ad value to this set. 41176 The Secret Market Place: I know I'm repeating myself, but it's a Great set. When it was announced the RRP was supposed to be € 60,00 but it turned out to be € 70,00. And to be honest it looks a bit small for € 70,00 but with 691 parts, the price per part contradicts me. I think it looks small to me because of the dragon, he takes up quite a lot of parts which makes te buildings smaller of course. Thorne the Dragon has the same articulation (or lack thereof) as Zpnya. He is my favourite dragon though. Mainly because of the nice colour scheme, the different colour lower jaw end the chest on his back. The buildings are great, lots of detail. One thing that made me laugh really hard, espetially with Owliver in it, was hidden in the attic of the post-office, go check it out I'm not saying anymore. Last bit of criticism is Farrans new face, he looks a bit goofy with that smile. I also got an extra dragon wing, but I don't think it was supposed to be included. Overall a great wave for Elves' second year. Definitely worth the long wait. I liked the linking elements, like a trans-pink 1x2 brick with two trans cheeseslopes on top. Evey set has atleast one, giving al the sets a nice sence of consistency. All the big foiliage pieces were in dark pink instead of dark purple. It looked good, but I would have liked to see the purple ones again. Anybody agree of totally disagree with me, let me know, I'd like to discuss these sets some more.

Thanx Lyichir, that's a good way of looking at it. The Elves just liked the idea, maybe Emily showed them some shows from our world. Tidus loved 'The Dog Whisperer' and started to make his own 'Dragon Whisperer'. It could be all the rage in Elvendale, talking to, or pretending to talk to, a camera. Because in some shots we see Farran talking, but there clearly is no camera he's talking to in the next shot. So it's just a funny things the Elves do since they met Emily.

Not as catchy no, but I like this one way more. It sounds more like a song that you could hear on, say, MTV. More pop potential, or something. FortNerd, thanx for the share.

Great, they were lovely. Only I'm not onboard with the whole 'talking to the camera' thing. There are no camera's in Elvendale, so who are they talking to?? Reminds me of the South Park episode where Jersey is trying to take over the USA. In it Sheila starts talking to a invisible camera, and when asked what she's doing she says "it's a Jersey thing". So is this, like, "an Elvendale thing" now? I wonder when the full length episode will be released. I can't wait. Update: I just looked at the 'explore' part of the site and found a bunch of cool stuff, go check it out! http://www.lego.com/en-us/elves/explore

    Lego Elves 2016

All the sets arrived today, so I'm having a great day. I started with The Starlight Inn, definitely my favourite. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The design is great, and the attention to detail is amazing. I was also surprised by the use of two types of plastic on Spark the baby dragon, he has trans red wings, spikes and belly. And I love the small printed compass tile and the printed windows. I'm sorry FortNerd, but I don't agree with you on the Water Dragon, Merina. I'm really impressed with the movements and poseability. This is, however, the first buildable figure/animal I have, so I have no comparison. But I really think the poses you can put her in are very diverse and life-like. I'll try to spread the building of the sets out over two days, but I'm afraid I can't wait and end up building 'em all today. I'll let you guys know what my opinion of the other sets is.
