Hi everyone! I'm excited to show you my submission for Bricklink Designer Program Series 4: Fire Lookout Tower! Voting is open until Friday. If you like it, you can vote here: https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/series-4/1198/Fire-Lookout-Tower The model consists of around 1370 pieces and includes 3 minifigures: the firewatch (and his dog) and the hiker couple (who actually represent my parents). The tower has a detailed exterior and interior and I've included a lot of cool mini-builds. On the outside you'll find a porta-potty, a generator and a water tank. The interior includes a desk (with a computer, radio and a desk fan), a bed for both the firewatch and his dog, the Osborne fire finder (spins 360), a small kitchen and a wood burner. I think this model would look fantastic to several exisiting LEGO sets including the A-frame cabin (see image below) and the yellow Land Rover Defender. Thanks for the kinds words all! Appreciate all the feedback! The helmet on the statue is a "custom" part. I tried to replicate the old Bat Lord helmet as that part wasn't available in the software I used. I does consist of 2 existing piece though: Ultron's helmet (Marvel) and a Batarang.

Hi everyone! I'd like to share with you my submission for Bricklink's Designer Program (BDP): The Snack Shack! The BDP is currently in the voting stage after which 5 sets will be selected for crowd funding. Your vote is highly appreciated! It's a 548-piece build inspired by a foodtruck I visited during a trip to Key West (Florida). The build includes a compact snack bar in a classic travel trailer with a small front deck, palm tree and other exterior detail. The interior includes a deep fryer, a fridge, a condiment station and a prep station with milkshake machine and sandwich grill. I think the Snack Shack would be a great addition to any LEGO city. The trailer can be easily removed from the base, so you can place it anywhere you like. I'd love to hear what you guy think!

Like many, I wasn't impressed with the proportions and some of the details of the officials set. Here are some of my adjusments: Redesigned the droid-pod (missing the new 2022 angled piece in Studio unfortunately) Made the body (in front of the cockpit) 2 studs shorter Changed the width of the front wing Redesigned the front/mounted guns Let me know what you think!

I don't want to be that guy... But we don't know if R2 has front printing in the trash compactor set. We can't see it in any of the pictures... Edit: never mind. You can see the printing in a video on LEGO's Instagram.

The state of B&P is kind of weird right now. Netherlands uses the new system. None of the new March pieces are available, so I called. The LEGO-employee was super helpful, but he had no idea why I couldn't order them online because I could order all those pieces by phone. Nice surprise: I was able to order the elephant body this way. Not so nice surprise: shipping costs increased from €1,80 to €6,00 on all orders... Then I received the invoice for my Jan 24 order. It was less then I ordered. Checked the status of my order: some pieces shipped, other still in warehouse. Never had this happen, but shipping costs were reduced. Strange though.

What the actual f... None of those parts seem to be available in the new B&P system (using Dutch website). Really happy with the change so far...

I might have just bought a medium sized set worth of double moulded legs... The LBG-legs with black boots are just *chef's kiss*.

Exciting! Liking the first rumors, but some more diversity in sets (Boba/Mando, PT and CW) would be welcome.

Yeah... In your personal opinion. I also really hate the "nobody asked for this" comments. You probably didn't ask for a UCS Landspeeder. But guess what? There are probably a lot of people who like the idea. Enough for LEGO to turn it into an actual product. I'm really interested in all of the rumored sets. Really looking forward to displaying the UCS AT-AT with the Hoth AT-ST and 1 or 2 of the Hoth Battle Packs. I like the Creator Expert cars, UCS Landspeeder the same size could be really nice.

Don't think it was mentioned here, but the printed pieces from Ecto-1 are also available.

I've built Boba's Starship this afternoon and I just don't know about this set... It's kind of confusing really. Was this set really designed to give kids the chance to own and build a Slave I for $50? If so, why is it such a complex and tiny ship? This Slave I is around 550 pieces. The little Slave I from 75222 is almost exactly the same size, gets the job done and uses just 300 pieces. LEGO nailed the simple X-Wing (75301). Great proportions, good size and just a simpler version of the 2018 version. Maybe Boba's Starship should've been a much simpler (but slightly smaller) version of the 20th Anniversary Slave I? Now it's just an overly detailed version of the Slave I from 75222 and I'm not sure if that was the best choice.

I was never going to buy it, but it's a nice model. Size + price could be a bit too much for some people. But I can't stop thinking: what if they made it minifig-scale (like a highly detailed version of 75021), $200 and included Cody, Jedi Bob and the pilots? PT/CW-fans would probably go nuts and buy multiple.

Thing that annoys me the most about this release is MandR's entitled behavior. Why does LEGO still share embargoed info with this kid? He posted a video with the leaked image yesterday and today he released his reveal video 10 minutes before the embargo dropped just so he could be the first one on YouTube...

Just received a small order from June 19th. Really quick! One weird thing: I got 10 transparent 5X4 window pieces I did not order. Also avaibable: the black/white double moulded legs from the Daily Bugle (Punisher-fig) part number 6145159

I'm now 100% convinced the speeder in the AT-AT set and the speeder in the 2020 Clone Trooper battle pack are using a new pieces: a 2x2 curved sloped with angles.

Regarding the Wonder Woman set: I'm betting $10 they will use Cheetah's hair piece for Lucius Malfoy.

Who would've expected them to update a 6 year old design. LEGO never update/renew their minifigs?! You people...

Beyond the Brick posted a "hands-on" video with the Razor Crest, but holy ... that video is frustrating. The LEGO representative has no clue what he's talking about and while they open the back panels of the ship, they don't show any of the interesting parts (bed/escape pod)...

LEGO representative in the D-O video: "Off course it's a curved surface and it's hard to apply stickers. So these are printed." THEN WHY DO YOU WANT US TO PUT 6 STICKERS ON THE TANTIVE IV COCKPIT?! This still hurts. Tantive IV was top of my wanted list. Still haven't bought it because of the stickers (I never use stickers).

There’s a pic of the back cargo-bay of the Razor Crest on IG. There are 2 blocks of carbonite, both seem to use stickers.

Strong terms. Overreacting a bit? What is it that you think is terrible about the set? What did you hope for? Genuine question. And can you make such conclusions based on the few pictures we've seen?
