It's shift change time for the department store Santas. The arriving Santas are fresh and energetic and the departing Santas are exhausted after their 10 hour shift. Thanks again to Cop Mike for releasing the manatee again this year!
-
@TheLarry98 Let me see if I can track the model down. It can be an early Christmas gift to everyone this year. Every time I think I'm about done with the LEGO Movie, I find something else to build. Here's to overbearing assistants.

@DodgeDude5498 When you get some pics, feel free to post them here. It would be great to see them! @Foreman-Alex Here's my update to the construction site:

For anyone interested, I posted the Cloud Cuckoo credits scene in my "Assembling Cloud Cuckoo" topic. To see it, just click on the clouds in my signature.
-
Thanks, @ionman Here's the Cloud Cuckoo credits scene from the LEGO Movie.

I don't know how many posts I'll make in this topic, but I had an urge to at least re-create the heart machine, Moloch, from the movie Metropolis. Here's what I came up with:

@Digger of Bricks Here it is: @Actor Builder. Thanks, as always!

This looks fantastic, thanks for posting it! I look forward to seeing more progress on it. -
Thanks, @Foreman-Alex. Here's the construction credits scene for you. I have also added more to the construction site that I've already posted. I'll post a an updated image for you.

@CopperTablet Here are some more views of Emmet's bathroom. A couple of notes: - My walls are the wrong color. - There are a lot of floating parts. - I heavily ad-libbed the toilet. While there's no good view of it, it's possible the toilet bowl is not brick built like mine, but instead uses part 4523 Container D-Basket as I believe some official LEGO sets use.
-
@CopperTablet. I'll see what I can do to get more pics of the bathroom. In the meantime, the sink uses Window 1 x 2 x 2 without Sill (60592).
-
The warehouse credits scene. This is the only credits scene to use an actual LEGO set, 3221 City Truck.
-
@Digger of Bricks. Wow. That would be cool. Let me think that one over and see if I come up with something.
-
These are really great. Lots of detail in a small scale. Very well done.
-
@NDLG80. You are cranking out these builds! That's another great one. I like how you adjusted the width. Your finished version makes more sense to me than the original. Here's the next credits scene, a green screen sound stage.
-
@NDLG80 That looks great! There a lot of detail in each scene and the lighting is really well done. Get your popcorn here!
-
@GLAP23. Wow, this looks great! Thanks so much for sharing! This is exactly what we needed. Now it's time to get building. @BlackStar & @STeNCH. What else do you guys need to complete your mechs?
-
@NDLG80. Thanks! Looking forward to seeing more! Here's the Secret Police credits scene.
-
@NDLG80. If you start on this page and read forwards, you'll see the progress of @BlackStar and @STeNCH working on their builds. I don't know how far they got. Any updates, guys? It's a big model, coming in at nearly 4,000 bricks. It doesn't have any internal support, so you'd have to add that. Let me know if you give it a try!

@krisandkris12 Great question. I think it's at least a combination of needing a creative outlet and appreciating how clever the LEGO Movie is. The more I look, the more I want to build. We'll see how long I can keep this up... @Fitmanb That's looking great! I think it's fantastic to see everyone recreating the movie in real brick. I post my images on Flikr. Here's a tutorial: Yes, it's a Wednesday. Nevertheless, here's Taco Tuesday.

@krisandkris12. NDLG80 is researching part availability. Seeing as he's built several of the modular from The LEGO Movie, I think he may just pull it off. @x105Black & @Wout. Thanks for the comments!
-
@mikaelsol You are absolutely correct! The original set 4435 uses the same window for the front and back of the car, but they used a different piece in the movie. Good one! I have updated my model to look like yours. And--you are welcome to post here any time! @NDLG80 I am amazed at how quickly you are cranking out these buildings! I wish I could see them in person. What's the next thing you are working on? Do you have an opportunity to display these anywhere for others to see? Here's the next credits scene:
-
Here's Abraham Lincoln's space chair.
