    Best LEGO Advertisments

I always remember this one from way back https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V2nL5sSSvd0
  2. The same applies to me, but that doesn't mean it is not worth trying, there are infinite ways to move a ball from A to B, the fun is in trying to think of a way that has not been tried before.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

I like the idea of a museum on a 48x32 baseplate spread over 3 floors with each floor dedicated to a different Lego theme with miniature models done in a similar way to those created in the AFOL's flat in AS.

    General Major's Last Stand

Like the Berlin Brigade type camouflage on the tank.
  5. Good to see you back Clive, shed looks awesome
  6. Now that TLG own BrickLink i wonder how long it will be before BrickLink starts to use the official colour names?
  7. The issue may be that there is no lift chain, (Lego like these things to work), and there doesn't seem to be a lot of space to put it in

    LEGO Ideas Discussion

I would think that they start the review process as soon as the project hits the 10,000 mark

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

Lego.com UK has CG (10264) in stock, DD, BS, AS are all on back order which would suggest more sets are coming. 10265 Ford Mustang is also showing as back order
  10. I stand corrected, forgot all about 8865
  11. 8860 remained at the top for 7 or 8 years, I seem to remember it cost around £70 in the UK, it was replaced by 8880 costing well over £100 here in the UK, both sets were considered top end (and very expensive for the time) and sold in large numbers, it appears that Lego no longer has the creativity (or will) to produce a large generic car, preferring to tie in with car manufacturers. Oh and both sets had 'B' models.
  12. Very old school, same here, there is just something bout a map.
  13. Impressive collection of Ordnance Survey Maps Doug
  14. They have made a RHD version photos exist you can Google them I tend to convert most of mine to RHD (except the cranes) as it just feels right.

    Creator Expert 10270 Modular

Still a bit odd in that the window appears higher that the roof line, but would need to see different angles. Not a criticism, just an observation.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

Didn't realise my little off the cuff comment was going raise so much angst amongst members over the state of various public transport systems PS, I live in an area of the UK where buses are well liked, clean, reliable and for the most part on time Now can we get back on track discussing what we'ed like to see in next years modular?

    It's never too early
  18. Missed the freebie , but did get it on double VIP points , not particularly bothered that I missed it, i can just Bricklink it at a later date.
  19. All parts sold via Bricks and Pieces are new.
  20. Gotta have the mini Claas, just because it's cute
  21. Hi @Doug72 I've followed your builds with interest, a solution to your dropped balls under the bucket run may be to tile it with these or something similar, as this may allow the next bucket round to pick them up.

    Balls?!

Can also recommend the Quercetti balls the only issue is that they are shipped from somewhere in Eastern Europe which makes shipping expensive, £20 on something that cost £9.29
