TIE Updates The design for the laser cannons has been revised to subtly reflect a more so aggressive look. However, with the alterations, the 2 x 1 inverted slope that was once above the laser cannons had to be removed. Here, a 2 x 1 inverted slope with cutout would be handy… As well it can be noticed that the control handle has received restyling into a more spiffy-looking design with use of the (95344) with the (99021) as the base, rather than the previous droid body, as in the 75150 set. Following up with the aggressiveness of the subtle transparent green detail for the lasers, the same has been fashioned for the ion engines, which before I did not know to include until Ramses25 mentioned thereof. Also, the connection to the wings has been altered to hinge locking plates. I am not sure if this is more so secure than the other elements, but I for one enjoy the modularity of disconnecting the wings and euphonious "click" they make when snapped into place, as well the ability handle the cockpit in the palm while examining it.

The LDD file has to exported into a LDDraw format, then from BrickStock import the file, and make the corrections as I have mentioned. But, as it is your first time experiencing this, I have no problem handling this for you. -
Good idea! I actually never studied the TIE Fighter when designing this, but how convenient it is that there is already space available for the detail where the 1 x 1 cheese slopes are placed—many thanks!

You can use BrickStock (works on Macs), I have used it several times to create a partlist of the wanted items for my projects, such as my own OT TIE Fighter. Though, word of advice when using BrickStock, the ID for some of the elements in LDD does not match some in BrickStock, so you will have to correct those confusions, but it is a simple task. Then there is also the occurrence of some elements from the LDD file being left out; mostly the relatively new elements, but the way I would handle this is to export the BOM of the LDD file, and then check off, as well make any necessary additions, one by one. Although if that seems too overwhelming of a task, I can accomplish it for you, by your request -

Thank you Prime! The design of the stand is not originally mine, it is yellost. Though my revisions simplified, as well reinforced, the structure with less pieces, and enhanced the aesthetics by implementing tile elements on the base. Also to mention, the revised stand can now accommodate other air/spacecraft such as LEGO's X-wing sets. However, I have yet to manage implementing the ability to adjust the pivot as yellost did—that would be more easier for me to accomplish with physical bricks. Here his is original design:

Hello everyone, I attempted to upload the BrickStock file for the convenience of whosoever will want to build this with ease, but EuroBricks is being restrictive on uploading the type of file "bsx" Does anyone know any Lego oriented sites where the file can be hosted there? Much appreciated!

I like the like the legs and how you interpreted the gap between them, though maybe a 1 x 4 tile on the outside of each leg would be nice to cover up those pin holes. I also think it would be comically interesting if you used the 1 x 1 round tile Mixel eyes -

Well, most of the LEGO's licensed video games are notoriously known for featuring elements in non existing colors, and even elements and molds that never before have been produced, so there's LEGO contradicting your opinion(s) of their system! Though, I indeed understand and believe, from first hand experience, that building with existing colors, even more so with proper techniques, brings out creativity; in saying the constraints actually being beneficial! -

Uhm, I think with the vibrant orange matched with the bluish light gray is a horrible combination (why I would never do it), but Doc's photography makes it less apparent to me -
Many thanks! I have indeed seen your MOC, and have not considered the macaroni bricks until now! However, upon implementing, the elements create an unsightly contrast with the surrounding bricks, as they are not curved. Though, it might be less apparent with outside of LDD I think I may make the cockpit taller too, for the top portion by one plate particularly, as it appears squashed compared to the bottom.
