Na'im laughs briskly and wipes some Mandragora slime off his broomstick with a handkerchief "Well, that felt remarkably easy!" says Na'im merrily "And we also seem to have cleared out what the farmer describes as the 'easy zones' to boot! So where to now? Personally, I'm all for tracking down that mysterious roaming monster the farmer mentioned-I believe he said it was wandering the western reaches?"

OOC: The raw meat should be gone from my inventory now, and shouldn't I be at full health, or is this a thing when you increase your health artificially? Na'im snorts and shakes his head "Well, I highly doubt that master Germ-I know that at least I would never sink to such levels! Speaking of which, does anyone else feel we should confiscate master Germ's saucepan-who knows what he may try to sneak in there, given his pervious comments!" Na'im nods sagely "Perhaps master Germ-it sounds like something the minstrels would sing back in my homeland...love is a curse...now they were very into melodrama back there-perhaps that is because our entire existence felt like something you would read in a bards epic? I never bought into it either way-their songs all felt terribly blasé." Na'im stumbles onto the riverbank with the others, rain streaming off the brim of his hat. He attacks Mandragora 1 from the back row

Na'im raises an eyebrow "Very impressive master Germ, are you always this lucky?" "Maybe it would be more effective a joke if you addressed each of them singularly." says Na'im dryly with a hint of a smile at the corners of his mouth at the awkwardness of the situation Na'im blinks and rubs his stomach uncertainly "I can't say that thought ever occurred to me lady Miderun." he says slowly, looking a little queasy "I certainly hope not..."

Na'im seems slightly taken back by Miderun's incredulous response "In a manner of speaking yes-I think you will find many people do enjoy a good pumpkin from time to time-a true pumpkin I should add, not one of these demon processed monstrosities!" "No dissent here." Na'im says, accepting the tonics with a nod of thanks "And speaking of which, master Germ, you look nearly experienced enough to train in an advanced class; any ideas? I could see you as an assassin you know ..." Na'im muses "Or maybe a sorcerer...or perhaps even a black knight like Lady Kiray here, eh?" Na'im also takes a few bites out of his raw meat, grimaces, and hastily eats the rest of it before he could retch it up

"Yes, I cannot honestly say I will ever be able to stomach a pumpkin again after this debacle..." Na'im says with a grimace "A pity, twas once a vegetable I held in high regard." Na'im repeats his action

Na'im stumbles backwards as the razor leaves of the pumpkin face slash at his mask, but do not pierce it. He exhales briefly and takes stock of the situation "Well, this is better than being stunned at least-maybe I'll be able to actually land a hit this time." Na'im repeats

Na'im hastily scrubs away the film of tears that have formed on his spectacles from the coughing gas, and replaces them upon his features He then proceeds to attack pumpkin face 1 from the back row

Yeah, I still don't get how we're all still standing (not that I'm complaining)-I thought Germ and Kiray are the only ones who are immune to darkness, but does that apply to the whole party now?

I was wondering why we hadn't seen Bobby for a while! From what I remember of Purpeal's portrays of Zoot, her version seemed rather more anarchic, and had little real plan. Instead I see this version as having transformed Bobby into a champion of Azzot, as something of a test, to see who of the party would accept the mantle and how they would respond to it. So I would say that there isn't really a correct answer as to how Bobby should be portrayed in his new form, but he should just respond naturally to having a dramatically altered appearance and new powers-trying to reverse the effect, as kintobor suggested, seems like a logical path to go down

OOC: Oh good, I as just going to ask about that result ​Na'im recovers from his confusion just in time to see Miderun bring her sword down upon Germ's head, but luckily his robe seems to morph around him so that he avoids the brunt of the swing entirely "Miderun!" he exclaims and shakes his head at his fellow party members perceived incompetence Na'im attacks pumpkin face three from the back row

Sounds fine by me, after all most characters round here are inspired to some extent by what we see, hear or read...as long as it isn't actually said character transplanted into the heroica universe

OOC: No problem, its my bad that I forgot to italicise Na'ims thoughts like I normally do Na'im flinches at Germ's uncanny ability to seem to know exactly what other people were thinking "Well...you seem to have given a pretty accurate description of what being unpredictable actually means master Germ, without mentioning it yourself, most modest of you, but not entirely accurate I must say." "You want us to visit the Pumpkin patch then lady Nayasto? We shall have to double back to the farmyard if we wish to reach it, you know."

Na'im frowns at the meat, but accepts it anyway "I appreciate the sentiment lady Nayasto, but what do you eat me to do: eat it? without any relish or garnish?!" "I am quite enjoying this little hunting trip you know-'tis nice for a change to walk the hills of Uland with friends, slaying whatever creature we come across without care for motives or long talks on morals." Na'im smiles broadly at his friends for that was what they had become-friends. Strange really considering who they were: the righteous black knight, the unpredictable demon and the gruff Orcish barbarian, all people he would not have once been seen within one hundred meters of. Na'im frowns at the map he had bought with him from the farmyard, wrinkling his nose at the stench of unwashed goat "Methinks we should continue clearing out these easy areas, close to the farmyard, but we should also gradually make west-glory holds no interest to me, but if we could best this Mirage Knight then we could win a lot of loot!" He also heals Germ and Miderun back to full health
