Great addition to the story! The tower looks supernatural. I like how you incorporated the translucent pieces throughout. My favourite is the scene with the large flat trans bricks closing up around the crystal like a lotus flower. -
Wonderful expansion to the inn to make it much more complete(and livable)! I really like how you built it asymmetrically. The abundance of green tiles and foliage make it look like it part of a forest.

It might be because I'm sleep deprived, but I found this spam to be highly entertaining. Maybe tomorrow I can write some poetry when I'm more coherent. And until then I will be sure to protect by skin from "sun's bars and dangerous adulterating hurt" and keep it sparkling.

It's definitely a excellent way to showcase a variety of minifigs and vignettes. I think I prefer the second method slightly more, since it looks less cluttered.
