Welcome ExecutorBricks from across the Strait! What is this thing you call 'winter'? Flowers started to bloom Dec 24 over here.

Awesome work. It looks like quite a sturdy structure. I love the way you designed it- detailed, but not cluttered. I also like the scorpion room

Great work everyone on the funnies! I've been binge reading this entire thread over the last week and a half. Great reading material for when you've got a cold.

Yep, your turn.

Yes! I have that terrible 'I'm my own grandpa' song stuck in my head for near two decades because of that movie! I'll have a pic up soon.

Your modifications with the red and green navigation lights are quite funny and timely to me- I just finished a pleasure craft operators course, so now I understand what all the boat terminology and what the light colours represent. Safe and happy sailings to your elves!

Interesting fabric choice. It what I imagine traveling through the portal to look like :). It's too bad Lego doesn't print double sided on fabric sails. The white sail sure looks ugly against the mast.

So much detail packed into that micro moc! Really effective use of bricks in that small amount of space. I especially like that gear piece as design motif.

How many Jar Jars have been sacrificed in the name of your MOCing, Dr Spock?

^Yeah, looks like different countries have different conditions. Also keep in mind that quantities are limited on polybags and popular ones will often run out before the month is over, so it's possible that the physical store had already given them all away.

Solid list. The "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" graveyard scene and score is beautifully epic, and is what got me into watching westerns. Love how some of the musical scores were recorded before scene filming took place, just as in the movie "Once Upon a Time in the West", which is my favourite Western.

^Arrggg! I think I just found the last brick at the Hallow but I also just clicked on the other missing item needed, and ended the level before clicking brick. Edit: Fortunately they stay in the same place. Finally got them all.

Nice reworking of the set and story. The facial expressions of your minifigs are perfect. Good work on capturing a shot of the gold fly out of the waterfall as well. The moral is: never trust a pool maiden alone in the woods (Or a nobleman with a permanently raised eyebrow).

Heya, the name is Iria. I grew up playing my brother’s LEGO. I remember having a house on a grassy baseplate to myself, but he tore it up and threw it out the window (bratty younger brothers…). Last year I finally bought my first set (Silver Mine), followed a couple bins of generic box and then promptly got addicted. I’m steadily building up my collection from X-mas and Valentine’s Day gift cards. I enjoy modifying sets and building MOCs, especially of landsapes and trees, though my skills are lacking. Recently I created my first custom using a Friend’s mini-doll. (I generally think the mini-dolls are annoying and weird looking, so wanted to experiment with it, otherwise I might have tossed it.) I based it off my favourite video game npc, and am fairly pleased with the result: Anyways I look forwards to wandering around the forum and checking out the creations and reviews.

Thanks. I have much more devious plans for the rest of the minidolls. None will be spared.

About half are displayed. The other half are for MOCs.

Check out one of the trailers of the show. They all speak the same language as the human. Just like in many other fantasy themes where all the species/races can communicate. Friends is a girly city-based theme. You tend to find toilets in cities. In fantasy worlds there is no toilets. Washrooms don't make much of an adventure locale. I doubt the question of space being a toilet in the Star Wars theme has been asked.

Hehe, those slippers would work against camouflaged floor Lego. I've never stepped on Lego as an adult, but have plenty of times as a kid (I didn't think it was too bad, especially compared to stepping on thumb taks with curved ends ). My mom however, would completely lose her composure when stepping on Lego. My brother and I thought that was pretty funny until she threatened to throw the Lego in the trash...

Oh, you can still buy these. Just move their hairpiece to a regular minifig, if you dislike minidolls. Actually, I've grown fond of the Elves mini-dolls, despite their limitations. I love how detailed their designs are, and how unique they look. I still don't care for the bubbly Friends minidolls though.

Yes! Once Upon a Time in the West is Correct. (The first one I posted was The Mercenary/A Professional Gun.) Your turn to post a movie robuko.
-
Nope, not Franco Nero. It is by a different [very famous] Italian director.

Okay, here's a different movie, same genre but much more acclaimed: High res close up & hint : If no one guesses this one, I'll make a very easy one next.
