  1. I'm not a big fan of the U-Wing in general, but those minifigures are absolutely brilliant! Will probably BL them later on Regards, Mitch
  2. Ooohh, that's actually a great idea! I hope that turns out to be the case Regards, Mitch
  3. Oh, yeah, there was that, too. Makes sense, even though it only happened twice, I think? Once in the pilot episode and once in the movie Generations. Regards, Mitch
  4. Hmm, yeah, good point. I guess that would be a bit excessive According to the post that mentioned the size, the set will also have stickers. No surprise there, obviously, I just hope the stickers are limited to the interior. Applying stickers on the outside to represent the windows and everything will be very hard on curved pieces... Regards, Mitch
  5. Apparently the LEGO Enterprise-D will be 60cm. I assume that's the diameter of the dish, which sounds pretty sizable to me. Might leave plenty of room for a decent interior Regards, Mitch
  6. Loving that F4FS trailer! Very hyped for it, now Also, more excited for the set, now that I've seen the F4 members have 'proper' outfits. Unless of course LEGO gives minifigures based on some concept art where the suits are entirely different Regards, Mitch
  7. I was gonna say the same thing! 100% agree Regards, Mitch
  8. Sooo... we're getting two Jango Fett's Slave Ones? The playscale version does sound kinda nice, I might pick that one up. Glad to hear the V-19 Torrent comes with Obi-Wan, let's hope it's a (T)CW version All in all, this is shaping up to be a good LEGO Star Wars year, for me (yes, I love the Clone Wars-era and related media and merchandise ) Regards, Mitch
  9. Ah, yes. Makes sense I think if it was based on the Arkham games it might work, size-wise, but I'm not sure if that will appeal to the younger LEGO fans. Not that TLG is probably aiming at them, with this set... Regards, Mitch
  10. What makes you say that? And what do you think it will be based on? General comics? Regards. Mitch
  11. Let's not forget Ten Forward, otherwise where would Guinan go Otherwise, all great suggestions, but realistically speaking I think it'll just be the bridge. Regards, Mitch
  12. Well, I'm not surprised Bly is in a large set and not the battlepack. They did the same with Cody (though many years after a 212rh battlepack). Too bad it's an MTT, though, a CIS version nonetheless. I have very little interest in another one of those -let alone a dozen more battle droids- but 'm afraid Bly will be very expensive on BL and such... Regards, Mitch
  13. So, interesting news, all in all... I'm slightly intrigued by the Oscorp Tower, but I suspect I'll skip it. I do feel sorry for the folks who wanted a D2C-level Oscorp, but personally I'm not too heart-broken about it. The Iron Man 2 sets sounds nice. If the Hammer drones look good, I might pick it up All the other sets sounds a bit of a mixed bunch, but there might be some nice ones among them. Regards, Mitch
  14. I saw the Dragon Ball rumor on IG yesterday, as well, and ohmyGod! It would be epic if we'd get Dragon Ball LEGO Regards, Mitch
  15. Yes! Bring on the V19 Torrent I always loved that vessel and it'll be great to get an updated version. Regards, Mitch
  16. Ooh, excellent choice for a GWP! Minifigure wise as well Regards, Mitch
  17. Nice topic idea! Whenever a new trooper type comes out that I like, I try to get at least 4 of them (and maybe a commander type, if applicable), and 8 at the most and display them in rows of 2. For Phase II Clone Troopers I divide them by batallion/regiment (so, basically by color) with their commander and/or Jedi General. When it comes to Phase I Clone Troopers, though, I tried to recreate a scene taking place during the Battle of Geonosis; a landing Republic Gunship with troopers disembarking, and plenty of troopers already arrived and standing in formation with a commanding trooper (the colored ones) and Mace Windu. I actually have about nine or twelve Imperial Stormtroopers standing in formation, including a commander. My Snowtroopers are displayed to be battling Hoth Rebel Troopers. When it comes to droid forces, I have so many of them, most placed in a somewhat disorderly fashion. And that's about it, I suppose When it comes to sets that I'd like to improve my army, we're supposedly getting them already, this year: - 327th Corps Battlepack - UT-AT with Galactic Marines Regards, Mitch
  18. Wow, I'm rather surprised (and a little disappointed ) they're going with the Enterprise-D Same! Also, the movies I might end up getting the Enterprise, though, 'cause getting all those minifigs on their own will be a hassle And hopefully it'll lead to TLG making the original Enterprise as well Regards, Mitch
  19. OhmyGod, it's happening! STAR TREK LEGO aaaannd breathe... I agree with you there. I grew up with TNG as well but the Enterprise-D is not nearly as good looking as the original Enterprise, or the Enterprise-A. Now, who wants to take bets how many minifigs it comes with? I'm guessing at least three. Kirk, Spock and Bones. But if they're feeling generous it'll be the entire main cast, adding Uhura, Checkov, Scotty and Sulu Regards, Mitch
  20. OhmyGod! Is it true? Are we getting 327th Corps clone trooper minifigures? I assume it'll come with Bly, even though it's a battlepack... I don't even care about the builds that'll come with it, though that gelagrub does look like a nice addition Also great to hear about the UT-AT, provided it will have Bacara, aside from the mentioned 21st Nova Corps troopers Finally I'll have all the prominent Clone Commanders Regards, Mitch
  21. Exactly! I have the first Death Star playset from '08 and though I let it get quite dusty, I'm still perfectly satisfied with it, having collected minifigures over the year to fill up the seats at the conference room table, the configuration/scene I'm rather proud of. Also, if it turns out to be a Death Star II-inspired set, it's a definite pass. Regards, Mitch
  22. A thousand dollar Death Star... that had better be one perfect set. But, then, it'll probably also be huge, so 99% pass for me. Regards, Mitch
  23. Oooh, Soundwave! Personally, I'm not that interested in him, but I'm sure he'll be a great build. And, in any case, this'll save me some money and room for the Transformer after that Regards, Mitch
  24. Nice to hear about the Spider-Verse CMF! I hadn't considered that possibility at all, but it actually makes a whole lot of sense. Aside from Spider-UK, Spider-Punk and Spider-Man India(?) I can't specifically recall the many variants showing up in Across The Spider-Verse, but I do remember there were a LOT of them, so I'm sure this'll be good. Also, what's the deal with those Spider-Man/dinosaur sets? I saw some pictures yesterday or something but they seemed 4+ or even DUPLO-y...? Regards, Mitch
  25. I'm very pleased with this new CMF series! So many new molds, it seems! The parrot and wolf look fantastic and those fluffy thingies look very cute My must haves for this series are: Wolfpack Guy Astronaut-type person Steampunk Inventor Regards, Mitch
