Marvel Superheroes 2021 - Rumors & Discussion
CF Mitch replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Perhaps, but those differences are so small, in LEGO you couldn't tell the difference. So, it wouldn't make sense -in my opinion- to have a MkIII and MkIV that are both intact. Don't get me wrong, I realize we probably won't get both. I was just saying, it would be okay to me if MkIII was battle damaged, that's all Regards, Mitch -

I wouldn't mind, to be honest. Especially not if we end up getting a MkIV as well, they're practically the same so if III is battle damaged and IV isn't, that would suit me just fine. And even if we wouldn't get a MkIV and the MkIII would be battle damaged, I would gladly take it. I was thinking this too. Though in the movies, Iron Monger armor is not as big as Hulkbuster armor, right? So hopefully the LEGO version is a bit smaller than the last two MCU Hulkbuster sets. Regards, Mitch -

Thought so, haha! Aside from the Iron Monger set, I can't wait for some info regarding the CMF, it's very thrilling, what with it still being somewhat unsure whether it's comics inspired or MCU or perhaps a bit of both... Ah, good times Regards, Mitch -

Just out of curiosity, why not? Because it's the most obvious one? But, Iron Monger Mayhem for me Regards, Mitch -

I mainly collect figures as well, when it comes to Marvel (and DC), but a lot of those are updated too, from time to time, so it makes sense to be okay with wanting to sell those, for those who do Gee, thanks Or that, of course I do display old and new combined and don't mind it very much, unless the age difference is too large (like, for example, 90's City and 2010's City sets), but with Marvel the gap isn't that big yet. It's not that weird, if you ask me. If they need money to buy the new ones and/or space to display them... The new Rocket looks good! Not a fan of GotG myself, but this seems like a good representation of him. The new fur color might take some getting used to, though, for many. Regards, Mitch -
Ooohh, right, of course! Thanks Regards, Mitch

Oh, grief. Please nothing like that. I really think it should be a seperate hair and beard piece. They have so many great things with that now, that can you can mix and match, surely they'd do that for Thor as well. And, I think Obediah Stane needs a head with printing similar to Obo-Wan and Count Dooku. Perhaps even two seperate heads, since double-sided is indeed impossible for a bald person. Regards, Mitch -

I was wondering myself as well, though my thoughts were more on a midiscale ship, or a regular scale but with a lot of very large pieces, which might make it look rather clunky. Well, I guess I'd buy it mainly for the minifigures anyway Regards, Mitch -

Damn, that's a lot of amazing news!! Interesting that the Dragon Flyer is from Endgame after all, and not Black Panther. Nevertheless, a great addition, especially with Shuri. The Sanctuary is a nice surprise, I hope it includes an updated Mk85 armor, at least. Minifigure Thanos is also intriguing, wonder what it looks like. I take it Captain Marvel will be new as well. I'm very excited for the new Thor minifigure(s). It could even be that the one in the Final Battle has battle armor and appears less fat, while the one in the Benatar is Fat Thor in civvies (or am I misremembering how he was dressed in that scene?), unless the Benatar is from IW and not Endgame Also, I, too, think the mentioned Chitauri with the Benatar is probably Drax. Bald, bigfig Thanos will be fantastic, can't wait to add him to my display! The Advent Calendar sounds promising, too. Thanks for sharing, everyone! Regards, Mitch -

Is it, though? I mean, they could add it somewhere I guess, very cramped, but location wise his appartment isn't near the Bugle... Regards, Mitch -

Huh, so it's the Daily Bugle after all! Fascinating. This is quite a generic location, so there minifigures coming with it could be anything. The Venom that is confirmed, do we think he'll be a repeat of the current minifigure, or a (more detailed) updated version? J. Jonah Jameson is guaranteed of course, so he'll probably be updated. Excited to see what this version will look like Kinda hoping it'll have a Symbiote Spider-Man, but that's probably a long shot. I do hope the build has nice play features and detailed interior. Regards, Mitch -
Wow, these are great, I love it! My favorite is the Blacktron(? ) AT-ST, very nicely done! Regards, Mitch

It's interesting to hear about the Benatar making an(other) appearance. There's a quite a few possibilities which minifigures it could contain, depending on which scene its from. But, my bet is it's from the scene where they meet Thor in IW. That way, it could contain most of the Guardians. Though, yes, I hope it's from the scenes in Endgame where Cap etcetera travel through space to kill Farmos, 'cause that creates the possibility of Stealth Suit Cap Now, let's hope the 4+ Captain America set contains WWII Cap Regards, Mitch -
Hehe, apparently I was half asleep when I wrote that I was thinking about adding Dormammu as well, but more as a flaming head in a bowl, like his appearance in Spider-Man: The Animated Series. And for additional figures, perhaps Baron Mordo and Clea. Regards, Mitch

I believe Pepper's supposed to be in it, yeah. Haven't seen anything regarding Coulson, though. I thought I read it would indeed contain the black and red suit. (on both accounts I'm only sharing what I remember reading/seeing on IG or in this very forum topic, nothing else!) Regards, Mitch -

AAAAUUUGGH!! IRON MONGER MAYHEM! So glad to finally see these Legacy sets appearing! Finally we'll get MkIII and Iron Monger Cap vs. Hydra sounds good too, hopefully with a good First Avenger outfit! Ooh, I hadn't thought of that yet would be even better if you ask me, if we get Cap's stealth suit The Endgame set will definitely be fantastic as well, minifigure wise at least. I don't even care what build comes with it Thanks for all the news, people! Regards, Mitch -

Damn, it's very good to hear the nothing in the summer wave will be comic based. Still leaves a lot of options of course, 'cause it could all be MCU Endgame, but also older MCU films. Good grief, I'm getting hyped Regards, Mitch -

Sorry, wasn't my intention to imply that. I just think it's unlikely they'll pass up an opportunity to produce those minifigures. But we've all been surprised by LEGO before, so Regards, Mitch -

Thanks for answering, guys! I wasn't aware there's only one confirmed D+ based set coming up. For some reason I was under the impression several series would get sets. Anyhoo, in that case it makes sense if WV is skipped in favor of, probably, FatWS. Given the popularity of the show and characters, though, I think it's still likely we might get Scarlet Witch and Agatha Harkness in the CMF. -

Can someone please remind me, what is supposed to be on monday again? Some sort of event regarding new Marvel merchandise? For WandaVision, I still think it's likely it might be more sitcom based, including the house and 'Scarlet Witch' Wanda, Vision and Agnes/Agatha Harkness as minifigs. Regards, Mitch -

so true! It's indeed odd, but a fun little surprise, nonetheless. I won't be getting it, but I can see the appeal for many. Though, as someone stated earlier; why expand on Venomized variants when we don't even have a (regular) Symbiote Spider-Man yet? Oh, well. There's potential in these types of sets Regards, Mitch -
Hehe, intriguing, but I'm a 100% purist, so Thanks for the offer, though And I realized this thread isn't only about minifigs of course, so a few sets I'd like to see some day... Xavier Mansion, with a class room and dorm room or two, and the X-Men's underground base of operations. Minifigs: Prof. X, Rogue, Beast & Cyclops, perhaps Magneto and Sabretooth or a Sentinel as the bad guys. The Triskelion, would be cool to have as an Architecture type set Minifig: Jasper Sitwell, Alexander Pierce or Peggy Carter (Ant-Man prelude) Sanctum Sanctorum, a modular set Minifigs: Dr. Strange & Wong Regards, Mitch
