Marvel Superheroes 2021 - Rumors & Discussion
CF Mitch replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
Just saw the new pictures of the MkIII and I love it even more The HUD face is no surprise, but is the angry expression not new? I thought the previous/current had a grinning and frowning expression, but not angry with open mouth... Regards, Mitch -

I don't think it's about that. I'm somewhat disappointed by the lack of flesh color on her torso as well. As shown on the picture of LMSH(2) it can be done without exposing any actual cleavage, and what bothers me is that, right now, the fur collar doesn't line up to anything, so it feels off. Ooh, interesting prospect! Damn, I'm getting excited from all this! In spite of all this news, in the end I'm still more excited for the Iron Monger and Endgame sets, but all in all, Marvel will be marvelous amazing this year Regards, Mitch -

Thanks for the reference picture! Nothing too special about his outfit, if you ask me. Wonder if his face detail will depict his skinnyness. Ha, that'd be funny (for some reason ), but yeah, very accurate, I think. Speaking of Stark, how big are the odds we'll also get WWII Howard Stark? That'd be very nice and surely he wouldn't differ much from his First Avenger counterpart. Regards, Mitch -

There's so much news! Interesting to see they're dedicating the CMF entirely to the D+ series. Might be a nice try out, and if its succesful enough, they migh expand to Marvel movies, next time The What If? Captain Britain set sounds very intruiging. Though, what is it with LEGO and mech, lately? The leak mentioned 'WWII Steve Rogers' but that probably won't look anything like the WWII Cap version, right? Regards, Mitch -

Ooohh, that picture with 'guess what is coming' text is it? Thought that was just some custom teaser... Alrighty, then. Torso is nice but it could've used a biiitt more printing perhaps, yeah. Overall, not bad I'd say. Regards, Mitch -

I've just seen it, and it looks nice, yeah! The way Wenwu is holding those rings might also be a nice technique for Whiplash' whips, I think. Regards, Mitch -

Huh, interesting about the new Chitauri face! It looks good, definitely more detailed. But, I'm uncertain about the 'need' for it, since the 2019 was fine. Right? Like @Guyon2002 it also makes me wonder about the budget for LEGO Marvel this year and it gives me the idea we'll be blown away by how amazing the other upcoming figures will be. Regards, Mitch -

I read about that, too, a while ago. Nothing at all confirmed, but it was rumored to be Monica & Rachel's apartment. Regards, Mitch -

Anniversary figures are those golden ones, right? I don't really see the need in them either. Like you, I feel they'd rather focus on improving mainstream minifigures for Marvel. Regards, Mitch -

I think they should make a new one, where at least the legs and arms colors match. Regards, Mitch -

That actually wouldn't be too bad, though, if you ask me Now that you mention it, I see that happening too. I kinda hope not, though Then again, a (dark) tan recolor of that piece would be very cool for more generic purposes. But for both Thor versions, I think it's be better if they use the Dumbledore treatment: a seperate hair piece and beard piece. Regards, Mitch -

Agreed on all accounts, haha. I think the topless would be funny too, but in the end I'm mainly focused on the head, beard and hairpiece. Hopefully at least the beard and hairpiece will be different from the Endgame Final Battle set. Regards, Mitch -

Agreed. I have a feeling it'll look like HP's Privet Drive. Good news about this set, though! Not too interested in Korg and Miek to be honest, but I'd really love to own Fat Thor. Do you think he'll be topless, or? Regards, Mitch -

Great news about the two Thors! It was what most of us expected already, but it's nice to have it confirmed. The question still remains (not that it matters much of course), which clothes they'll give Fat Thor. A certain, very awesome someone we all know in a certain place on the internet posted a picture of Thor in a blue shirt and red sweater-vest type clothes, like what he wore while going to past Asgard with Rocket. So, will the minifigure actually look like that, or something else? 'Cause, I remember him having different clothes while in the Benatar. At least, I keep picturing the final scene where he says goodbye to Valkyrie and says she should become ruler of New Asgard. But maybe I forgot and he appeares in other scenes in the Benatar as well. Can someone refresh my memory? Regards, Mitch -
That looks very nice! I love the moss on the rocks and the way shape of the rock face itself. Great MOC! Regards, Mitch

I was looking at those exact same pictures while trying typing my previous message, and though the differences are clear on them and therefore, of course, in the movies, I still think they wouldn't become that obvious on a minifig, considering how much smaller they are. Then again, it might just be a case of me having (slightly) lower standards than you guys And, MkVI and MkVII are pretty outdated anyway, compared to the recent MCU armors MkVI could definitely use a remake if you ask me. The other(s) as well, generally speaking, but I don't really care as much for them, myself Regards, Mitch
