[G:O16, DK vs U] Divination of Ulandus
Robin Creations replied to Jacob Nion's topic in Guilds of Historica
This is a great build! But it will be hard to counter. Why does everyone hate Ulandus?!? -

Welcome To Our New Pirates Regulator: Captain Braunsfeld
Robin Creations replied to Capn Frank's topic in LEGO Pirates
Congratulations! You deserved it -
The gray lengthening pieces work fine for me, but the bones tend to pop off of those fairly easy. But I must ask, why were you throwing Bionicle around?

Wow! Really nice job with all the greebling! And is that a leather background?!?

Advice on my next castle build... To leave the back open or closed?
Robin Creations replied to Jreacher's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I would say it just depends how big it is, what the outside will look like, and it's purpose. When I build smaller things like castle walls, I usually leave the back open if it's only meant to be seen from one side. If it is something humongous like Ecclesisates' castle, you might need to add another wall. Another thing to consider is the landscaping around it. And where are you going to put it? These are all things to consider -
Looking good! I would highly suggest checking out the Flickr uploading tutorial here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=97921 . It makes things much easier

Bionicle Toa Alternate Builds
Robin Creations replied to Logan McOwen's topic in LEGO Action Figures
When I see that piece, I think of Iron Man or something fully mechanical. The toa (and others in the Bionicle universe ) are biomechanical. I would think it's reasonable to assume that they might wear armor to protect their organs or whatever they have. The toa aren't *that* technologicly advanced, so they probably don't have robotic armor. That's why I don't like it, it looks too advanced. I like Kopaka's armor because it looks like layers of metal, and I like Tahu's because it looks like plate armor. And to be honest, I don't like way it tapers either. But hey, these are all just my opinion -

Bionicle Toa Alternate Builds
Robin Creations replied to Logan McOwen's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Nice job Lewi! While I don't usually like using trans shells, it works pretty good here @TheOneVeyronian: I like Lewa, but I don't really like the breakout armor on Tahu. It looks too robotic, not armored -

Fiether was a simple elf from Avalonia. They chose him because he was a good fighter; weren't all elves? He hated this, he hated that rich Kalphlinian. Just like all the others, all he cared about was money. Not the well being of others. Of course not. He regretted killing others. It was too easy to do. But he had to do it... ------------------------------------------------------------------- Figless: This was a really fun, yet simple build. As always, C&C welcome And if I win, I choose L9.
