Think I am going to pass on this theme. It's original but I like the old castle sets better (I got most of the sets from Castle I from 2000). Only set I might buy is the Jestro's Evil Mobile, that one looks really cool :-D The King's mech and Fortrex also looks cool but not sure if I'm going to buy those. Besides those 3 sets not really interested in the others.

Picked up 7959 Geonosian Starfighter from a toy shop nearby. Was surprised to see this set from 2011! And finally got commander cody in minifig form :-D

Wow... if this was an official set I would definitely buy it!

Just finished building the Imperial Star Destroyer (75055). Really cool build but I have a 1 1x4 light grey plate left as spare part. I'm pretty sure it was from bag 10 so I retraced the steps where this piece would be used but everything was complete already. Is it normal to have a 1x4 light grey plate as a spare part or did I miss a step?

Mostly excited about the UCS Hoth Echo base coming out in 2016, other than that (except for star wars) I'm not really interested in other themes/sets coming out in 2016. Maybe I'll pick up some of the superheroes sets.. maybe...

Thnx guys, I decided to go for the Tydirium! Really like the set overall. Slave 1 will probably be my next purchase when I can afford it :P

Hey everyone, I'm stuck on deciding which set to buy. These are the sets I'm interested in: -MTT (75058) On lego US shop it says its retiring soon -Millenium Falcon (75105) Really like this set but I read that some TFA sets had cracks in pieces/figures, is this true? -Imperial Shuttle Tydirium (75094) Yet another cool set I'm interested in ;p -Kylo Ren's Command Shuttle (75104) -ISD (75055) Retired in lego shop but can still get it where I live for the same price. Or... maybe, really maybe Ewok village or Slave 1? (or wait for hoth echo base 75098?) I also have 40 euro vip points. So as you can see a really difficult choice haha :P Which one would you get?

I came out of the dark ages like 8 months ago I think. Around that time I was also watching all the the star wars movies and became interested again in lego (mainly the star wars sets). Since then I collected quite some lego and not all of them are the same theme. I started collecting from only 1 theme which was Star Wars but that escalated pretty fast :P The Themes I have collected sets from so far: Licensed. -Star Wars -Lord of the Rings -The Hobbit -Jurassic world -Cars Non-Licensed. -Winter Village -Ultra Agents -Castle/Kingdoms -Monster Fighters -City -The Lego Movie -Ninjago -Chima

A few dutch shops/webshops still got some hobbit sets available (brickshop, brick fever, Misterbricks, playtoday). Playtoday doesn't have an online shop but you can call or mail them for availability, I got most of my hobbit sets there.

I still need to get lake-town chase, barrel escape, goblin king battle, riddles for the ring and mirkwood spider ambush sets to complete the hobbit wave. Got the last wave (79015-79018) for 20% off

Thnx. I agree with you on the ISD, doesnt look very good from the inside. I'm probably getting the Tydirium, great design and nice minifigure collection.

Recently added a few sets to my star wars collection 1). 75050 B-wing 2). 75038 Jedi Interceptor 3). 75018 Jek-14's Stealth Starfighter 4). 75043 AT-AP Walker Really like the build and looks of the B-wing, probably one of my favorite sets right now. The Jedi Interceptor is also a very cool small spaceship build.

So deciding on which set to buy.. 1) Shuttle Tydirium 2) Jedi-Defender class cruiser 3) Ghost + phantom 4) MTT 5) Imperial star destroyer Anyone who can help me? :P

I missed out on the Hobbit/Lotr sets because I was in my dark ages. From all lego themes these are definitely my favorites so I decided to buy some of the sets because I will probably regret if I didnt buy them So I recently got: (30% off on the first four sets). 1x The Lonely Mountain 1x The Battle of the Five Armies 1x Attack on Lake-town 2x Witch-King Battle 1x Dol Guldur Battle 1x Dol Guldur Ambush 1x Attack of the Wargs 1x An Unexpected Gathering 2x Mirkwood Elf Army 1x Pirate Ship Ambush 1x Battle at the Black Gate Still planning on getting all the LOTR sets I havent got yet and also a 2nd Battle at the Black Gate to make a full gate.

Do you think we will ever get a 3rd wave of lotr sets? With the Minas Tirith set from lego ideas that reached 10k followers as flagship? Some other cool sets included in this wave could be the balrog, Battle of Osgiliath (with faramir, one of my favorite characters), Lothlorien set, The Golden Hall of Edoras, The Prancing Pony Inn, The dead marshes and some battle packs with gondor soldiers, rohan riders, elves, ghost army and orcs of course

The Hobbit

So I ordered the Attack of the wargs and Barrel escape today, cant wait to build them I was in my dark ages when they released all the hobbit and Lotr sets unfortunately so trying to collect most of them now while they are still available. What are your guys favorite sets from the Hobbit and/or Lotr wave?

Just ordered 4 Stanley organizers, 2 small and 2 large ones Can't wait to sort my lego haha

Maybe off topic but I bought kingdoms set 7188 King's carriage ambush yesterday at my local toy store. Was surprised to see this set still available (was also the last one) because its from 2011. I recently came out the dark ages so I missed out on the Fantasy era, kingdoms and castle sets. Although the last wave (Castle) has some sets that are still for sale they dont look appealing enough to me. Castle is definitely my favorite theme, I had the full wave of Knight's Kingdom I and some of the viking sets from 2005. The Carriage set I bought is really cool looking. I really like the build and surroundings like the trees they added in the set. I can't wait for the new castle wave, I hope it will be much better than the last one from 2013. And perhaps something like a viking theme again? Would be awesome Also what are your guys opinions on the castle wave from 2013?
