WOW, aD2C 66 Batcave is going to be awesome. I am really excited for this, and the GC cycle chase, especially with all the potential for characters and nice big build, since its a D2C. Honestly, I will probably buy 2, and MOD it into 1 huge Batcave. I got 2 of the 2012 Batcaves, and combined it with the 2006 one, so there should be no reason why I wont make a nice huge 66 Batcave too. Even the escape from Arkham and Jokerland sets, I had to get 2 each to combine, I love doing that. Cant wait for pics, and heres to hoping that there is maybe even another store exclusive going to be released too. And on a side note, I bet everytime Just2good hears the expression " Pain in the megablocks", he instantly pictures Psqidexslizer248, lol JK

Nice job paisono, this all looks awesome. I enjoyed just the Avengers tower you posted way back, but now with everything together, it looks great. My favorite part is the truck and trailer, with the spot for Vision. Good job.

I bought the Mystery machine, the Airplane set, and the Mansion. I am happy with these 3 sets for now, I think, even though all these sets are awesome. I have the whole gang, and some cool sets, and monsters/bad guys. I modded the greenhouse section of the haunted mansion, so that its double in size. With the 2 that came with the mansion, and the Headless horseman from the plane set, I have 3 of those cool jack o lantern pieces. I also made another plant monster. I think I may use that greenhouse section for Poison Ivy's hideout too. I am going to bust out my Haunted house from the Monster Hunters line.If that's not screaming for the Scooby gang to be running around in, then idk what is.

The MF Haunted house, really is an awesome set. That set, and the MF theme as a whole, got me out of my dark ages a few years ago. I was lucky enough to get the Haunted house the day of its release at the Lego store back when it came out. Its funny, but I just picked up a few of the Scooby Doo sets, and didn't even think to break that set back out. This thread has given me the idea to populate my haunted house with the Scooby gang, thank God I still have it fully built on a shelf. Oh, and in answer to your question, about whether the Lego gang will re-release the 10228 Haunted house, NOT a CHANCE. As awesome as that would be to see again at retail for some, I think you would have a better chance of seeing God first, in person and in all his eye melting glory.

I got 2 Jokerlands, the Batboat set, the Scooby Doo Mansion and airplane/Headless Horseman, the Spiderman Carnage set, and I am eyeing up a few of the new Friends sets for my daughter, but havnt pulled the trigger on them just yet.

WOW, that's crazy! Toys R Us has that set for $129.99 thru the link for Jokerland. I bought the set for $120 bucks, including shipping, and no tax, from a seller on Bricklink from Belgium. That was weeks ago, and I have had the set for like 3 weeks now. I wasn't sure if I should have bought it weeks ago, and from Europe, but now that I see it listed here for almost $130 bucks, I am so glad I did. Not only did I get it weeks ago, but I got it cheaper, AND shipped right to my house, crazy.

I found the Batboat set at Toys R Us today. I am in New Jersey btw, and for any of you Jersey boys, it was at the rt 18 TRU in East Brunswick. There were 2 sets and they were "hidden" behind a row of last years Riddler/Flash sets. The set is really nice, much better in person. I modded Deathstrokes mini boat, with more orange and dark blue pieces I had, and some slight mods on the Batboat too. They look great, even better than outta the box. Highly recommend this set. Anybody find Jokerland at any retail stores, in the U.S.? I have one already that I got thru Bricklink,from overseas, but I want another one to combine into a bigger Jokerland. So, thanks in advance to anyone whos seen it at retail, and can let us know where they've seen it.

I doubt they will be in Toys R Us this Saturday, but if they are, 20% off would be awesome. I just have no faith that the new sets will be there. If anything, they are probably using the 20% off, to get rid of the older sets FIRST, and in turn making room for the new ones. A little FYI, I actually bought the Jokerland set from Bricklink. I got it from a seller in Belgium, and WITH the shipping, it came out to $120.00 bucks. I got it within a week and a half. It is going to be $120 bucks here, plus tax, so I figured why not, and I got it a month in advance.

Alright, pictures coming soon, at least I hope so, lol. I am pretty much done with the 2 Kwik e marts into 1 awesome one. It looks great, and cant wait to show it to everyone. Pretty much, its finished, just gotta do a little tweaking , and finishing touches. More importantly though, I have to get everything set up, lighting and location wise, at least, and then, of course, take the actual pics and load em up here. Unfortunately, my friend has to do this for me, so I am kinda waiting on him. Hopefully soon though, I promise, and it will be worth the wait.

Lovin the new Batman set. I am all for ANY new DC sets, and especially Batman stuff. I am a completionist, I HAVE to get every DC set that comes out, and the more they make, the better. Cant wait for Jokerland, the Batboat set, this new one, and whatever else they throw at us.

So, I have all the series 2 cmf's, plus a ton of doubles, and I bought 2 Kwik e marts. I am modding the 2 Kwik e marts together, to make one HUGE store. I wanted to do this from the door, when I had first seen pics of the Kwik e mart. I am more than 3/4 of the way thru, and its coming out awesome. It looks really cool, and with the amount of exclusive, printed, and rare pieces, between the 2 sets I got, it looks great. I built it double in size, from the front to back, not width wise from side to side. It looks better this way, and is way more practical. Obviously, I just used 1 sign in the front, and I also kept the dumpster area the regular 1 set size, but everything else, from freezers, shelves, counters, and magazine racks, are double the amount. I am almost done, and will definitely post pics of the final product, when its done.

Awesome MOC, I love bloody macabre MOC's, whenever it pertains to Lego Pirates. Although, I had to laugh out load a bit, at your use of Mortadella as the name. Where I am in America, and specifically New York city, mortadella is an Italian American bologna, lunchmeat.

So, back in April, when I mentioned about combining and modding 2 Kwik e mart sets, I was just "thinking" out loud about what I wanted to do. Well, this past week, I went and bought 2 sets from the Lego store. I have NOT opened either one yet. My goal is to combine them into one big Kwik e mart. I have no problem doing it, its just I am not sure which way I am gonna do it. I did the same with 2 Detectives offices, that I bought. I knew where I was going with it right away, on that one, but the Kwik e marts seem a little tougher. Has anyone combined 2 Marts together? Did you do it, left to right, or front to back? Are there any pics? Any advice, or help, would be AWESOME, thanks guys.

Is it just me, or does it look like in the new harbor Batboat set, that Deathstroke is holding a mask, or helmet? Its in the "lineup" of the figures that are in the set, in the bottom right hand corner of the box. What do ya all think?

Blondie-wan, I completely agree with you that the mini's were created to bring in girls. However, I think the difference here is that the mini's typically bring in YOUNG girls. Pink and cute and little mini dolls, and all that stuff, is typically about the younger female demo, and that's fine. However, with the DC female demo, that they are looking to get, I feel its typically going to appeal to, YES, a younger female demo, but ALSO a slightly older female demo too. With that being said, I still feel, if done right, making sets with mini-figures female based, will "marry" it ALL together DC wise, and appeal to a much broader female AND male range. This would be a homerun, financially speaking, if done right and grabbing BOTH a male and female audience, and I feel mini-figures , not mini-dolls, is the way to do it.

Very nice MOD, I have 2 Clippers, and 2 Imperial flagships, one of which I also converted into a Bluecoat version, like you did. I am still looking to build up my Bluecoat fleet even more, but a lack of appropriate sails has prevented me. Seeing your custom sails is inspiring me to buy another BB and convert it, like you did. Alas, I still need those sails. I would LOVE to buy a set, or 2 of those exact custom sails that you made. If you were interested in making a few extra sets to sell, I would be willing to buy them. Let me know if you want to sell some of these sails, I would love to buy em from ya. -
If Lego went with Minidolls for this DC female oriented line, I think it would defeat the purpose of "getting more females" into the line and DC. By alienating this line with minidolls, and therefore making it non-compatible with the existing DC line, you are not incorporating girls into the Lego DC line/world, they are keeping them separate from it. A, DC minidoll line would be this weird hybrid of elements that would NOT attract the targeted audience they are looking to capture. If you want to get more females involved, don't make them feel different, bring them into the fold with cool, awesome, fun sets, WITH mini-figures of great FEMALE DC characters that we ALL enjoy, and can play with TOGETHER.

The more I look at pics and reviews of this set the more I love it, and the more I am convinced I am going to get 2 of them. After checking out some more detailed pics, I think combining and modding 2 together into one large Kwick e mart will work. Its seems the way to go would not be to make it bigger left to right, but instead combine them front to back, so that the store will be almost double in size depth wise. It can be one really deep store, with a longer row of freezer space, extra shelves, longer counters, and so on. I am looking forward to getting 2 sets and doing this MOD. With the amount of unique parts, printed pieces, and specialty items, you just cant go wrong with an extra set.

I got a question for anybody who owns this already, and put it together. Do you think the Kwik E Mart would be a good set to get 2 of, and MOD into a bigger store, with more counters, shelves, freezers, and stuff ? I ask this with money being NO issue. In other words, I don't care if its "worth" it or not, I am asking specifically if this set would benefit from combining 2 into 1 giant awesome Kwik E Mart, with money being no issue. Thanks in advance, to whoever has this set,and can please just let me know.
