Huh. I've always used the hands as leverage in that situation. They've only broken on me three times or so, and each time, they were CMF minifigres that'd been clearly made from cheesy Chinese plastic, so I just figured that was why they'd broke, but I'll be sure to avoid that again. Thanks for the heads up!

Thanks! Your ideas are awesome too! Unfortunately true . . . Nevertheless, I think that you should peer over at the link to her Bricklink page in my post and just see how much the legs in and of themselves are going for. Maybe you'll get lucky! :D I haven't seen those before, but based on a quick Google Images search, these seem to be good as well! Thanks for the idea! I'll add them to the original post.

Alternate Iron Fist: Head: Iron Fist or male face of your choice Hair (for non-masked version): Alien Conquest Toxic Cleanup Scientist Torso: Dastan/German Pilot Legs: Phoenix's/Jean Grey's or Patrick Star's superhero pants either as is or with the black hips swapped out for matching green ones (as done by autorazr this past January for his own Iron Fist which can be found here, on page 119) or Doctor Octopus' from this set as suggested by Biggus_Brickus.

Comix, Great to see you back in action, and thanks for the credit! I appreciate it. The Hex Girls: WOW! These are great! I noticed that you took a lot of liberties with my original designs, and these are absolutely amazing! Also, I might add that these are much, much better than the ones I suggested at first. These are my favorite out of the bunch! Wolfman: Spot on! Great use of the werewolf head! Vampire: I think that he might be able to benefit from Superboy’s half-flesh/half-black arms, if you have a pair, and also, some grey hands (it looks like he’s wearing gloves), but great job nonetheless. Skeleton Men: Glad you figured out a way to make these guys! Glad that you were able to find a good way to pull off the “cyclops” look, especially within the limits of purism, too! :D Gator Ghoul: I only vaguely remember this guy, but based on the source material, he seems like a great fit. Phantom Shadows (Updated): It’s a darn shame that those pieces don’t come in the right color . . . Given the existing pieces that we have though, these are awesome! The Creeper (Updated): Glad you ended up liking my design. :) Old Iron Face (Updated): I actually liked the big blue skis, but these are nice too. In fact, I think that these might even be able to attach to actual Lego sharks! :O Gargoyle (Updated): Maybe it’s just me or the lighting, but the color in the legs seems off. It’s probably me. The long legs are a nice touch. Charlie the Robot, the Spooky Space Kook, the Miner Forty-Niner, and the The Puppet Master all seem to be the same as the last time I saw them. Captain Cutler's Ghost: As is the case with the Phantom Shadows, it’s a darn shame that those pieces don’t come in the right color . . . Again, given the pieces that we have Cutler looks awesome! Ape Man: My second favorite out of the bunch because of how great that clone head represents Carl the stuntman. :D ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Now, for some of my own stuff: https://www.reddit.com/r/lego/comments/3l4jim/im_too_poor_for_most_of_the_scooby_doo_sets_but_i/ > This Redditor made some of his own Scooby Doo minifigures, and his redesign for the Black Knight is brilliant, as is his use of the CMF Prospector’s hat on the Miner Forty-Niner. Minifig "shoes"

I took some toothed plates, and filed them down via a drill, until they were rounded enough, and then decorated them. https://www.flickr.c.../in/dateposted/ Just snap them to the bottom of the feet. They look better than you'd think. I designed a Wizard of Oz Dorothy this way, and since she has brick built legs, I think these "shoes" look even better. https://www.flickr.c.../in/dateposted/ EDIT: When I say "toothed plates", I mean these things.

I really like all of these, but especially Medusa, because she could also pass as Plastique for DC's Suicide Squad! Two birds with one stone, for sure! Besides versatility, I really like Wiccan and Misrress Death because, minus The Atom, they're the only characters that I'm really familiar with.

All of these ideas are awesome! The reason I singled this one out though, is because I think that Batzarro's "mangled" cape might be better for Dracula. Hulk_Smash, I'd recommend the back of this torso for Punisher, if you have it.

It's not the best figure, mostly because it's a work in progress, but I wanted to share it anyway: Black Widow as a ballerina. I wish her gear were black so that she could look more kike her movie counterpart, but alas, it is not so. Also, for anyone who wants to try this design, some recommended upgrades would be Leia's ceremonial torso, and the official Black Widow face.

    Please help identify a part!

I'm not 100% positive, so take this with a grain of salt, but I'm very confident that (like KamalMYafi said [^] ), these are Citizen Brick's custom "boot legs".

Nexus, nice job! :D What context is the name Rodney used here? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ WOW! That El Dorado is absolutely amazing! The hair, as K-Nut stated, can be found on Harry Potter, but I think that it’s worth noting that it also can be found on many other minifigures as well. The head and torso, as K-Nut also stated, are from the Indiana Jones theme, but more specifically, they belong to Temple Guard # 1 and Temple Guard # 2, respectively. Both of these guys are found in The Temple of Doom set. Again, as K-Nut said, the cape comes from the Adventurers theme. More specifically, it belongs to Achu, an obscure character from the late '90's Jungle subset of Adventurers. Achu appears, cape and all, in the Amazon Ancient Ruins set, the River Expedition set, and the Ruler of the Jungle set. Finally, the legs belong to the Actor, one of the Series 8 collectible minifigures. All in all, this is an amazing figure made from a vast, eclectic selection of Lego bricks. Kudos to c0rnedfr0g for it’s creation! To me, the torso and head both looked "different" from the rest of the figure, and upon first glance, I too, wasn't sure if it was purist or not. You're very welcome! :D Keep up the great work! Happy building!

    Custom Doctor Who

These are awesome, but ... Nine's hair is too "afro-y". Eccleston had flatter, thicker, hair in the role. I think the classic black hairpiece works well for him. Ten looks too much like Donald Trump. The orange eyebrows are very off-putting. Also, Ten wasn't so angry, he was more jokey. The 2010 Draco Malfoy smirk is commonly used among purists. Either way, I can't wait to see Eleven and Twelve, and perhaps some companions, villains, and classic Doctors as well! :D Keep up the great work!

BvS SPOILERS ideas on how to make....

Great idea for a mini-movie build! :D Try this in either trans dark green, trans bright green, or trans green. Your choice. I'd go with trans bright green, considering what we saw in the movie. As for the handle and shaft, I'd attach this in black to the back of the rock, and then this to the back of the handle. Thus, your final design would closely resemble this, only it'd be black and have a rock sticking out of it instead of that knifey thing, which as thetang22 previously suggested, is also a good idea. Happy building! :D

Legocity2713, Thanks for the compliments! You're welcome for the idea. It's not mine, but I've seen it around, so I figured it would be put to good use here. Hulk_Smash, Glad it worked out! :D JaseTJ, I'm not quite sure I understand your situation. If you add a black cowl and cape to the otherwise gunmetal BVS Batman, everything should fit, colorwise, and also you could also match with the black gauntlets on the gunmetal arms.

    Purist Superhero Figures

I don't have pictures, and I'm sure many of you know this already, but, what the heck, I'll share it anyway. It's already been established that the CMF 15 Evil Knight's arms look really good on Batman. I took it one step further and tried them out on the official armored BVS Batman (the one from the mini-set, "Clash of Heroes".), and lo and behold, the gunmetal colors match perfectly. Almost too perfectly. Either way, I love the way he looks now, so just a thought. Happy building!

Yes! That sounds like a great idea! That's an awesome idea! I'm more of a DC person, so Heimdall wasn't on my radar, but I can definitely see how the Winged Warrior would be useful for that. By the way, what is your Flickr? Sadly, I don't have the Janitor either, but I think that'd be a great Joker to make. I have seen people achieve him using the two mechanics that we already have: https://www.google.c...iw=1366&bih=657, but I think your version could be better than those. :D You're very welcome. :D Have fun with them!

Please? Nice idea! I had the same though. As for the bit about the wings: +1. I had to flatten mine with a dictionary. Oh boy, do I! Sorry to say, but these are not all DC. Farmer - This is kind of cheating, but the pig could be used to augment a scene with Animal Man or Bwana Beast ... Circe, even the DC version, was still known for turning people into pigs. :P In all seriousness, that pitchfork could be used in conjunction with Scarecrow or someone, and those double-molded boots could be used by many people, but right now, I can only see Cap or Thor using them. I think there’s a farm near the classic (and by classic I mean 1930’s/1940’s) version of the Batcave, so there’s a civilian you can use. Spaceman - This is kind of a stretch, but hear me out. If you ever watched the DCAU Justice League Unlimited, cartoon one of the White Martians, He's technically another civilian, but I think it still works. Evil Knight - His arms make for good printed vambraces for Batman, and his mace would make for good a Hawkman weapon, or assorted weapon fodder. Guy with crutches - Bruce Wayne when injured (just the head wrap), Bruce Wayne when Bane kicked his butt, (crutches, head wrap and legs), or anybody injured. “Native American Girl” (A.K.A Sacagawea) - The swaddled baby, if positioned so the face wasn’t visible, could be used to great effect, and her hair, feathers, and torso would all make a good Apache Chief. “Winged God” (A.K.A Apollo) - As Retrotaco said, they’d make for a great Hawkman. The torso would also work good for the DC version of the male members of the Greek pantheon, or going back to Hawkman, good Thanagarians of either gender. The mask could also be good for Hro Talek, a specific Thanagarian who wore a slightly different mask than Hawkman did. Now, technically, the character I’m about to mention is not a superhero, but in his established canon, he’s helped to saved all of creation more than once, so that makes him okay in my book. His name is Rory Pond, and it’s a long story, but once upon a wibbly-wobbley timey wimey, he was a soldier for the Roman Empire, so that muscled cuirass torso would look great on him. Post Script: If you want to see him in action, check out Doctor Who. If you already know about him, good job, fellow Whovian. :D Saytr/Pan - The legs, if combined with the Minotaur, could make a pretty good generic enemy or ally for Wonder Woman. Also, the flute could be used for the Pied Piper. Skunk Catcher - As with the farmer, this is kind of cheating, but the skunk, like the pig, could be used to augment a scene with Animal Man or Bwana Beast ... In all seriousness, that net could be used in a tongue-in-cheek way by someone trying to catch Gorilla Grodd, (or something of that nature), her dark brown hair could make for a good unmasked Hawkgirl, unmasked Batgirl/Oracle, April O’ Neil, unmasked Rose Wilson, young Rogue, Diana Prince (Wonder Woman’s alter-ego, Shadowcat, Lady Deadpool, Black Widow in disguise, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. Finally, her double molded sleeves could make good arms for modern Parademons or classic Hydra agents. Janitor - The Toxic Avenger, a member of Damage Control, an actual generic janitor (for S.T.A.R. Labs/ The Daily Planet, or the like), Stan “the Janitor” Lee, any member of the Planeteers, Hong Kong Phooey, Booster Gold (in some incarnations), Space Janitor Mac, a disguise for Batman or someone, the broom could be used for The Pandorica Opens versión of the Doctor from Doctor Who, The Custodian, Parasite or another pre-transformation supervillain, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. Ballerina - Not DC, but Natasha Romanoff, the Black Widow, I'm sure there's some other uses, but I can’t think of any specifics right now. Robot - Blue Beetle III (as done by Autorazr on page 124) Kendo Guy - I’m not sure … Shark Suit Guy - King Shark or any of the other shark-related superheroes/villains we have … (as done by Hulk_Smash on page 123) Wrestler - I’m not sure … Jewel Thief - Catwoman or Black Cat, or any other cat-burglar … Queen - I’m not sure …

Oh boy, do I! Spaceman - This is kind of a stretch, but hear me out. If you had the chance to watch Justice League Unlimited, one of the a Senator who was also a former astronaut. He's technically a civilian, but I think it still works. Ballerina - Not DC, but Natasha Romanoff, the Black Widow,
