Hulk_Smash, ah darn. Well, thanks anyway. Ooh. Sounds like I'll be making at least one of them now. Numbuh1Nerd, PREACH. Not only do they need more flesh-tone women, they need more racially diverse women as well. EDIT: Reading it over a second time, I'm seeing just how good advice that is. I'll have to hit up Bricklink, and start stocking up on Hermione and WW heads.

BuzzableBuzzer, thank you for your input! :) That would be the 2011 Hermione, right? In other words . . . This one? - https://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?M=hp121&name=Hermione,%20Light%20Bluish%20Gray%20Sweater&category=%5BHarry%20Potter%5D#T=S&O={} And as for WW, I'll just keep looking . . . Hulk_Smash, it seems that I can't search through your posts . . . Could you remind me which ones? :)

I've got a couple of questions, and I thought that this thread would be the best place to address them. First: I want to make Dr. Snow from the Flash TV show (she's not a superhero per se, but she works with one, AND [spoilerS] she's married to a (quite probably) dead one so let it slide.) I have nailed everything except the face. https://www.google.com/search?q=dr.+caitlin+snow&safe=strict&rlz=1CAHPZY_enUS667US667&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwj5w7DDzrHJAhUCZD4KHWgVAZAQ_AUIBygB&biw=1366&bih=611 I've seen Tauriel (http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=3626cpb0813#T=S&O={}) and Galadriel's (http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=3626cpb1201&idColor=90#T=S&C=90&O={"color":90}) heads used for her, but I thought I'd get some other opinions. Second: I had a head just rolling about, and I cannot find a use for it. Other than Wonder Woman (whose head this is . . .) what can I do with it? (http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=3626bpb0635&idColor=90#T=S&C=90&O={"color":90} / http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=3626cpb0635#T=S&O={}) Obviously, stick to superheroes. Thanks for the help! :)

Wardancer, under the relatively safe assumption that you are referring to Sandy's post, the figure you are referring to is Rey, the protagonist from Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens. :)

Superior Spider-Man looks awesome! As for the torso, try the Miles Morales Spidey torso. The pieces under Electro look more like they would belong under Ice Man. :P Anyways, great job! :)

I love this White Tiger by Autorazor! Anyone know which version is this supposed to be, though? Regardless, whichever one it is, it's amazing. :D I became seriously inspired by this, and I built an Ava Ayala version to match. However, Eurobricks is not letting me upload an image, unfortunately. Recipe: Helmet: Snow Batman (Same as Auto Razor) Head: Maria Hill/Wonder Woman, with a yellow Post-It for the eyes. Body/Legs: Classic Zane from Ninjago (sorry, I forgot his name) Claws: Wolverine

Another idea! This works for both Punisher & Crossbones. If the official Crossbones figure ends up being less printed than we'd like, I'd recommend trying to snag a few extra CMF "Skeleton Guy" minifigs, and using his arms (http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=981982pb56#T=C&C=11) and legs (http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=970c11pb25#T=C&C=1) to "beef up" his printing. The legs might work better with black hips, but I'm sure you guys know how to experiment with colors and all that. Also, the purist Punisher designs that are out there, including mine, could benefit from those arms almost definitely, and perhaps the legs as well. I know I posted it already, but in cased you guys missed it, here is my Punisher design again:

That's a great design! It also might be useful as a "classic" comic style Iron-Man suit as well... PS: I love your signature! War: I'm looking for the Doctor... 10: Well, you've certainly come to the right place... Plus, a tip: For those of you who want to make a Mr. Miracle, here's a not so original idea for as to how to achieve his arms. Regular Bart Simpson's arms and green hands. This photo is NOT mine, credit where credit is due... and that would be to Numbuh1Nerd.

That's a brilliant idea! On another note, if anyone has the new Milenium Falcon and is interested in a John Stewart GL, I think that Finn's head and hair would be useful if coupled with Hal's uniform. The face, can be seen here. I'm not sure if the one shown is an alternate version or he's double sided, but either way, I'd recommend the head shown in the image.

    Custom Marvel and Dc Characters

To , ,Just thought I'd let you guys know that there is an already existing Lego purist superheroes thread. Daredevil and your Deathstroke remake qualify, but the Winter Soldier does not, seeing as he has at least, a custom arm, from what I can see. I'm not criticizing the purpose of this thread, I'm merely suggesting that your repost those two there as well. :) Also, I think that this is a great idea to start on a non-purist superhero customs thread. PS: That Batman with the Cyborg legs hanging out in the background of the Winter Soldier's photo does count, from what I can see. :P The thread that I mentioned in my last comment ( ^ ) can be found here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=68912.

Hair: http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=59363#T=S&O={"ii":1} or maybe http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?id=95131#T=S&O={"ii":1}. (EDIT: FOR THE SECOND LINK,)The color is not as good, but the style's better. I'd go with the one that's not black. Face: http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=3626cpb0635#T=S&O={"ii":1} Torso: http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=973pb1653#T=S&C=5&O={"color":5,"ii":1} (Maybe ...) Arms: http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=981982pb27&idColor=3&name=Yellow%20Arm,%20(Matching%20Left%20and%20Right)%20Pair%20with%20Red%20Short%20Sleeves%20Pattern&category=%5BMinifig,%20Body%20Part%5D#T=S&C=3&O={"color":3,"ii":1} (The reverse of these would be ideal, but, unfortunately, there is no such thing. Try red hands.) Legs: http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=970c05pb08&idColor=5&name=Red%20Hips%20and%20Red%20Legs%20with%20Gold%20Stars%20and%20Inserts%20Pattern&category=%5BMinifig,%20Legs%20Assembly%5D#T=S&C=11&O={"color":11,"ii":1} (Change the hips to red ones or yellow ones.)

IronFish, sorry I missed your post! As for which head I used, it was an oldie but a goodie. It's from the blonde mermaid in the POTC Whitecap Bay set. http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=3626bpb0570#T=S&O={"ii":1} (I too, pronounce Clara in my head with a British accent! ) That River is brilliant! :D As is that 11th Doctor!

I have a not purist solution to your issue, at least, I think I do ... http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=3626cpb1033&name=Minifig,%20Head%20Male%20Black%20Eyebrows,%20Cheek%20Lines,%20Open%20Mouth,%20Headset%20Pattern%20(SW%20Imperial%20Gunner)%20-%20Stud%20Recessed&category=%5BMinifig,%20Head%5D#T=S&O={"ii":1} and http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=3626cpb1032&name=Minifig,%20Head%20Male%20Black%20Eyebrows,%20Cheek%20Lines,%20Frown,%20Headset%20Pattern%20(SW%20Imperial)%20-%20Stud%20Recessed&category=%5BMinifig,%20Head%5D#T=S&O={"ii":1}, can make up for Scott Lang's expressions, IF you're willing to erase the headsets, that is. Otherwise, sorry, I'm not really sure. Personally, I prefer this http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=3626bpb0035#T=S&O={"ii":1} head for my civies clothed Dick Grayson/Tim Drake, but other than that, I'm not sure. Punisher: Hair: This in black. Head: This. Torso: This backwards with black arms and white hands. Guns: These. Legs: These. That design can be seen here, on the right: https://www.flickr.c...eposted-public/ This design is my own, and pretty much original to boot. :) EDIT: Superboy's sleeved arms, as Legocity2713 said, would look great. Either use the flesh hands they come with, or try some black gloves. Also, the CMF Gamer has those grey and black sleeves, those might be useful as well. EDIT 2: I just realized that the photo I linked to has a non purist trench coat, so just kindly ignore that.

Sorry, I missed these... Darn notifications... Anywho. I was not at all aware that it cost so god damn much! (I just checked BL, and I'm pretty sure that I've never seen prices that high for anything short of the Comic-Con or Toy Fair exclusives!) /story This however, is mostly because I was lucky enough to have bought mine in 2008 or around then, when he was still being made. I did buy it on Ebay, but since I can't find the records online, I'm not sure exactly how much it was. However, I distinctly recall the price being something of a point of contention in my household, for a while. But when the Comic-Con figures started emerging en masse, and we looked into buying those, post-respective convention(s) I said "And you were worried about Nightwing costing X dollars?" as a sort of comeback. \story Regardless, I hope that you guys can amass the funds to buy at least one. Good luck! ;( Also, MisterBatfleck, if Lego made either of the first two Nightwings, believe me, I'd be the first to buy that set!

Damn! Someone beat me to it! :P I saw that too! Kudos to you though for having an imaginative mind, and a better Internet provider. Also, this might be lame, but what's wrong with official Arkham Asylum (The classic set. In other words, not this one.) Nightwing torso? (Other than being lame and unimaginative.)
