Boba Fett is rumored to be one of them, I'm guessing Han will be the human and Chewie will be the alien. No clue as to what the last one could be. EpVI Lando in disguise?

But if you keep reading you see that he's just repeating what Banjo said. He didn't hear anything: "I'd just like to say that this was said by Tragic Banjo on Eurobricks in response to my fake box (the piece count was close) NOT first said by me"
-
OP of yesterday's "leak" came out on his post and said it was fake. No need to continue calling it out haha. @hachiroku you might be happy to hear he included This link which describes how he did it, and includes the background by itself. Kind of interesting to see how these things are made.

@Andyperkins I think you're referring to the image from yesterday - the small and blurry one? Another "leak" popped up on the lego and legoleaks subreddit (legoleaks seems to have taken it down) and it shows the set's box over an orange sky. To those calling it fake - sure it could be, but what if the leaker deliberately posted it the day after the last fake to throw everyone off? Not saying I believe it, just a thought...

If that one isn't real whoever made it sure knew what they were doing. There are movement lines behind the ship, the gold borders look just like the other UCS sets and is that a new cockpit piece?!? On the other side that looks very similar to 10179, but if there are 6200 pieces maybe they found a way to rework it a bit and give it an interior?

I really hope it's true but until a better picture surfaces I'm taking it with a grain of salt

Fired... out of a cannon and into the sun. I'm not that disappointed by not seeing the rest of the sets. I'm just thankful we got to see what we did this early. The star destroyer looks great. Looks like there's a minifigure elevator at the back of the ship. I can't tell if it's hand operated or gear operated though.

Heads up Aussies, target has the new sets already. Very surprising to see Australia getting something on time. Picked up the bounty hunter speeder bike. The bike actually is pretty cool, but the figures definitely make it worth getting.

Ironic, Sir von Lego asking for pictures :P Check the usual places. As usual we aren't allowed to link, but a subreddit called "legoleaks" may point you in the right direction.

LEGO has no say as to what goes on the Star Wars box designs (except for the actual pictures of the set and its contents), Lucasfilm's marketing controls it. That's why all Star Wars toys, LEGO and non-LEGO, have the same prints year after year. Also, if you look to the left of the pictures of the minifigures of the bomber, you can see some things falling out of the bottom of the ship. Looks like it'll actually have a bombing function, which is pretty cool.

Off topic but I'm really glad they got rid of those overly detailed heads. There was a period where they got the Minifig detailings right, then they started to go overboard, especially with the faces. People like Luke looked nothing like their onscreen appearances. It's back on track now, thankfully. Back on topic, anybody know why they thought it was a good idea to put that much detail on faces? -

Hair is Clone Wars Obi Wan, head is Indiana Jones, the torso is Bib Fortuna's with the arms swapped and the legs are Han Solo's -
Someone mentioned something about a May 25th announcement as that's the 40th anniversary of ANH. Someone also mentioned that the original one was made available for preorder months before hand (possibly as a way of seeing how many first production ones they'd need to make). I can definitely see them doing that again. I have strong a feeling pictures are only a few weeks away.

Yup, that's when I was expecting it, but it was very weird to see it at the facility so quickly. Normally S@H orders I've made have made will take about a week and a bit to reach the country, and then from that facility to me in 1 or 2 days. I guess I got lucky. -

What makes it worse is AusPost absolutely sucks as well. I ordered the Snowspeeder and a few other things on the 29th with VIP access, AusPost tracking says its been at a facility in Sydney without moving for a week. -

S@H shipping is a joke. That's why I always plan my S@H purchases carefully so I can break that $200 barrier for free shipping. -
Jedi Starfighter with Hyperdrive Booster Ring

Weird, I ordered the phantom 2 (as well as the Snowspeeder and Takodana) as well on the 29th. It shipped and tracking says its at the facility in Sydney for the past 2 days - probably because of customs. Should get it by the end of next week. I wonder what's keeping yours up.

As owner of both, I can say it's definitely worth getting the UCS as well IMO. 8097 was one of my favorite sets, I had it built and on display from when I got it in 2010 until last year when I got the UCS version. Seeing it next to the UCS was kind of shocking. "How could I have this on display for so long?!" If you have the money, go for the UCS!

How long does a bricklink order usually take?
Brikkyy13 replied to Brikkyy13's topic in General LEGO Discussion
That's something you'll have to discuss with the seller. Check their page to see if it says anything about what postal service they use or message them and ask them :) -
Just bought Battle on Takodana, The Phantom 2 and of course the UCS Snowspeeder from S@H. Used some VIP points to get a little bit of a discount.

I thought I was just having issues. Give it time, we'll have it by the end of the day. Does anybody know how long it took with previous VIP sets for early access to start? -
Can anyone else confirm this? I'm not getting my hopes up until someone else can add something to this.
-
I have no doubts that the UCS falcon is coming, I'm just a bit confused as to why it would be in store's systems this early. Could they be doing a possible bait and switch and dropping it on May 4 alongside the snowspeeder?

The LEGO Group takes civil actions against LEPIN
Brikkyy13 replied to CopMike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
To me that just says if someone says "no" to Xingbao they get Lepin to make it anyway.
